"Please follow me."
In front of the royal palace, Minerva behaved like a commander as she was, people placed their hands on their chests while standing upright before letting us into the throne hall.
My identity now is only that of an adventurer and the students of the academy are no more or less.
Minerva knelt down giving respect to the king while I just stood up.
I'm sorry I decided not to kneel to anyone, because my true status is both king and God. When everyone in this place shouted at me for my disrespect, the king cut in kindly.
The wise king.
"What's wrong, I gave the exception to master?"
"Beaufort Reymond."
"Mr Beaufort, you must have heard all the explanations from Miss Minerva, our kingdom is now in danger we beg to lend you the power of the lord."
"Well, but I'm asking for a reward after this job's done."
"Of course, all the contributions that Mr. Beaufort made will be taken into account."
For me money is not a problem but, I do not want to make someone owe me let alone a kingdom if I do it for free. This is a reciprocity that makes both sides equally benefited.
King continued.
"I have one request.can you bring my daughter as well, this is her first year into the magic academy, I want someone to teach her."
From beside me the princess in question walked over.
"A-anu. My name is Almaira Riteila, please guide her."
I smiled gently at her, she was a beautiful girl with long blonde hair and a slim body filled, she was wearing academy clothes like me just depending on her usage, even clothes could emit a different aura.
I asked the king.
"Actually in the academy I will choose the lowest class of commoners, does the king not mind."
"I will leave all decisions to Mr. Beaufort, please take care of him."
This guy just casually hands his daughter over to a stranger, how much he trusts Minerva.
"I understand."
"And Minerva, you can return to your army."
"Thank you very much, then we'll let go."
"Listen..don't do anything weird with the princess, she's a plain girl."
"Don't call me a plain girl."
He was pretty upset about it so I cut.
"I know, I'm married anyway."
"Me-married?"
"Actually princess, this guy is older than he looks so don't get stuck."
"Can you use a better word," to my statement Minerva laughed casually and continued.
"For the rest I leave it to you."
"Aah, let's go Almaira."
"Ba-good."
We left the kingdom and walked towards the magic academy building in question, in the middle of the journey I bought two loaves of bread one of which I gave to Almaira.
"Get it, don't you like commoners' food?"
"It's not that, it's just that I feel good that someone treats me like an ordinary girl."
"so."
While enjoying the bread we suddenly diverted to a small alley where I saw two girls being bullied by some thugs.
One person had long red hair and another one had shoulder-length blue hair. I don't think I can just let it go.
"Almaira, I'm in the academy undercover because of that, I'm pretending to be weak... Could you immediately take the two men to escape so as not to see me fight."
"I understand sir, I mean Beaufort."
I stood between the thug and the two girls as Almaira pulled him away, one of the thugs yelling rudely at me.
"You want to be a hero, huh?"
"Just get the boss, let's show him who's in charge."
Up next.
I was the one who beat them to pieces before I finally gave them to the guards to arrest. They were really weak and could only bully a girl.
