I asked Iris who was sitting on the floor peeling oranges at the small table.

"Do you want to eat porridge?"

"Porrigger of the sick tastes bad."

"Don't worry, I'll put meat and eggs in it and some mushrooms too."

"It looks good, but the porridge is not enough."

"I see, Iris has a big belly."

"Don't make fun of me."

She looked cute while puffing her cheeks, a few minutes passed I served all the food I made, mostly the ingredients brought by Iris, such as salad, grilled eel, potato soup and porridge itself. Because there are leftover ingredients I made pudding as well as dessert.

Iris tasted the porridge then followed by the others, her expression looked happy.

"Honey once, two thumbs up for you."

"Thank God you like it."

I took the chopsticks to eat the eel I made, the sauce did not disappoint.

"Well, Redo, can I ask you something?"

"Call me Kazuya, so what do you want to ask?"

"Why do you act like a pervert when you're not like that, you always keep your distance from female adventurers even looking like you're treating them well... even if you want now you can corner me against the wall and do perverted things."

I put my chopsticks.

I just smiled wryly while scratching my back hair.

The reason why I didn't leave this house is because this is probably the last time I've seen Iris, however I've abandoned my responsibilities as village chief, husband, and father for several weeks. It's time I went back to my real home.

I sat there holding my knee to bow to Iris.

"Why are you being polite?"

"I will return to my village now that I have picked up the Sirens at the Scarlet residence, thank you for everything please convey my apology to everyone."

"Everyone in the guild knows you're leaving one day, but why don't you say goodbye?"

"I'll probably find it hard to leave."

Iris smiled slightly then bowed towards me like I did. I was immediately surprised by it.

"What's that?"

"Sorry for my selfishness, please take me with you too."
