Alex got down and smelled the breakfast that Alicia had prepared with the help of some servants. Every morning, Alex is required to have breakfast by Alicia before leaving for the office, a routine activity that he does in the human world

They, the werewolves, have been mingling with humans through a special portal that connects the human world and the werewolf world.

This happens because in the human world they get what is not in Vadre Land like petroleum, modern medicine and fresh meat from the farm.

But in the human world, they can't just turn into wolves and use the power of wolves to solve problems. This was very beneficial for Alex. With his ability to read situations and negotiate, Wind-Corp has become increasingly influential in his leadership of the human world.

"For mom.." Greet Alex when he arrives at the dining room.

Alex's forehead wrinkled to see Evan was already sitting sweetly at the dining table

"Why are you here? Where's Faye?" Ask Alex

Faye is Evan's mate. They always look together because in the human world, Faye works as a marketing division manager who is directly related to Evan. After meeting her mate, Evan buys a house of his own to build his small family in the human world

"It's cold, brother. Faye was in Kingston helping with preparations for the Wind-Corp branch's birthday" Evan said

"Well, Nicholas said that to your father a few days ago." Alicia said as she stuffed the steak into her mouth

Alex just nodded while enjoying his breakfast

"Why do you eat so little? Is that steak too ripe for you?" Alicia asked as she saw Alex's plate was still full

"Maybe you want raw meat you just cut from the farm." Temptation Evan while chewing his steak by making a sound.

Alex squinted his eyes at Evan who chuckled at Alex's expression.

"disgusting.." Grunts Alex.

Really, Alex is very upset with some man-made movies about werewolves who love raw meat. Werewolves are also almost the same as humans, no one eats raw meat. It is precisely these humans who often eat raw meat, commonly called sushi and sashimi, Alex thought.

"I'm okay, mom. I just emptied a little space in my stomach for Uncle Nick's Wind-Corp branch anniversary event." Alex said

Trixie is Gamma in the Wind Winders Pack and has been friends with Alex since childhood. It's common knowledge that Trixie likes Alex, while Alex responds only to Trixie as an ordinary friend.

"It's okay mom, at least there's something I can talk to there." Alex said as he finished his meal. The man immediately got up to prepare for Wind-Corp. Alex briefly kisses Alicia's cheek to say goodbye, followed by Evan

"Go first, mother." Pamit Alex's. Alicia smiled slightly as she looked at the wide backs of her two sons. The woman took a long breath

"Mom's just worried Trixie's gonna be expecting more from you, Alex. It's gonna get harder later if you're destined to meet your Mate." whispered Alicia slowly

The Wind-Corp branch's birthday celebration was festive. All the top officials of the Wind-Corp branch were present. After a few words of greeting and awarding to some exemplary employees, the event continued with a cordial event between the employees and the leaders

Alex sits at his desk with Nick and discusses some business from Wind-Corp. Some officers glanced at Alex. Rarely do they see the CEO of Wind-Corp because Alex is at headquarters in Toronto. Some of the news that blows is true, if the CEO of Wind-Corp has a beautiful face

Next to Alex, Trixie has a bored face. The beautiful green-eyed girl occasionally chimed in on Nick's words because the man asked her. The rest, Trixie more spread her gaze throughout the room or play around with her glass. If not accompany Alex, of course Trixie does not want to come at a boring event like this

Alex nodded and went back to talking to Nick. Nick's eyes follow Trixie until she disappears behind the door.

"You don't want to know the latest news about Joey?" Ask Nick suddenly. Alex was silent for a moment, then shook his head

Nick knows the relationship between Alex and Joey. Nick himself was shocked by Joey's betrayal. Much speculation has circulated, mostly about Joey being jealous that Alex was chosen to be an Alpha and not one of his nephews.

"I heard he's in the drug business." Continue with Nick

"Stop talking about uncle Joey, uncle Nick! I don't care what they do in this world." Alex replied as he took his drink and downed it at once

The two fell silent as they looked towards the several employees who had gathered while chatting

"You look familiar with Trixie. Is she your mate?" Nick asked to divert the conversation

Alex shook his head while chuckling "Me and Trixie are just friends, uncle. No more than that."

"But it seems like the girl is very interested in you. Some rumors say you spend a lot of time together." lured Nick

"It's just a rumor.." Alex answered, sipping his drink.

Alex admits to spending time with Trixie, his little friend. Whether it was to train for battle or to practice for romance

But Alex never slept with Trixie. Alex would book girls at clubs to channel his passion rather than having to fuck his best friend, though Trixie wouldn't mind that

"Frequently go to the celebration ceremony in Vadre Land, Alex. Maybe there you'll find your mate." Nick said as he sipped his drink slowly

"Thank you very much for the advice. I recently went there with my father and I didn't experience what you've been telling me so much." Said Alex. The man turned his body towards Nick

"Tell me again, uncle. How did it feel when I first met my aunt Jenna?"

Nick laughs. This was the talk he liked the most

"Well, you know Alex. I saw Jenna in a store. My eyes were glued to him…"

Along with Nick's story, Alex's eyes accidentally see a girl who just went inside. The glasses girl in the middle carried some files in her hands

"You're going to keep looking at that girl, like she's a magnet for you. You can't take your eyes off.."

Alex's eyes didn't blink looking at the flustered looking girl looking for someone

"Then you smell a fragrance you haven't seen in your whole life. It smells very intoxicating.."

Every move of the girl seemed to scatter the fragrance that tickled Alex's sense of smell. The fragrance Alex never smelled before

"Then subconsciously you stood up to get close, hey, Alex. Where are you going?" Nick asked confused when he saw Alex just walking away

Alex walked slowly closer to the girl who was still seen drowning near the entrance. Some officers saw and made way for Alex

The girl was seen walking quickly towards one crowd while on her tiptoes as if looking for someone. Alex had unknowingly been standing behind the girl

Unexpectedly the girl turned around and hit Alex
