PART 29'S

Alex stared at the laptop screen in front of him closely. The man was observing Reina who looked serious about her work. Alex smiled faintly. It seemed that Reina was not bothered by their quarrel. The girl can still work well

"Thank you, Uncle Nick. At least I know he's okay."

Nick disconnects the CCTV from the branch office to the head office. Currently Alex and Nick are connecting via air

"Is there anything else you need, Alpha?" ask Nick

Alex shakes "No. Thank you, uncle."

Nick will still be talking, but Alex has already cut the connection. Alex knows what Nick will talk about with Reina. A piece of advice, and Alex won't listen to it right now. Alex prefers to drown in his work

Orange rays seemed to illuminate Alex's room as the sun began to prepare to return to the contest. Alex stood looking at the crowded streets of Toronto through his glass window. The thing he used to do when something disturbed his mind that in recent weeks Alex rarely did because the fragrance of Reina's body can immediately calm him

Alex realized, since the appearance of Reina some time ago has changed the pattern of Alex's life. Alex is always excited to go home, something Alex rarely does first. Evan said, Alex smiles more often and is a little more friendly.

But that pattern has been missing since Alex and Reina got into a fight. Alex is more often in Wind-Corp to take care of his business or monitor his Pack, because when he comes home Alex will continue to remember Reina

Honestly, Alex misses Reina a lot. Alex misses the fragrance of Reina. Alex misses clutching Reina's tiny body. Alex misses his moment of union with Reina

"Reina.." sizzled Alex shutting her eyes

It's been thirteen days that Alex has only been monitoring the girl from the Kingston branch of Wind-Corp CCTV. Alex could have come and forced Reina to come with him, but Alex was afraid that she might hate him even more.

Alex smiled wryly. An Alexander Ulrich who was undaunted by anything, frightened by the glare of the eyes and hate speech of a girl. Alex is afraid that Reina will leave him.

"Better like this.." Alex muttered while showing the streets below that were getting crowded

Evan and Robert were seen rushing into Alex's room, making the man frown

"What's wrong?" alex asks to see Evan and Robert panicking

"Sister-in-law is kidnapped!"

"Ngh.." Reina blinked her eyes slowly. The pain in his head made the girl grimace while trying to get up.

Reina looked around. The girl clenched her forehead because she did not recognize the room she was in. The dark room. The only illumination was the light coming in from the curtain-covered window.

Reina tried to get out of bed, but her movements made the girl feel dizzy and sat back down. Reina felt her head which turned out to be wrapped by bandages

Slowly Reina tried to remember the incident before she fainted

FLASHBACKS

Reina walked towards the stock warehouse that was beside the Wind-Corp building. Before returning home, Anggi told him to check the upcoming stock. Actually Reina was a little hesitant because it was already afternoon. But the girl still obeyed Anggi's orders

Reina put her jacket together. Although August the sun shines quite bright, but the gusts of cold wind are still felt. Reina went into the stockroom, and some people were still there

"About what time will the stock truck arrive?" reina asked one of the officers closest to where she was standing

The employee stared at Reina without answering Reina's question.

"You didn't hear? I asked..." Reina was choked to see the people in the stockroom looking at her with red, blue and olive eyes. Not one or two, but a dozen. Their faces looked unfriendly. Fear began to crawl Reina's heart. Recalling the Rogue attack some time ago

Reina immediately turned around about to turn out of the stockroom, but something hit Reina's head. The smell of carnation was smelled before Reina's vision darkened

FLASHBACK END

"Alexes.." Reina Mumbled

His captors were Werewolves. Most likely closely related to his position as Alex's mate. Reina's tears began to melt. Fear began to spread to his heart. I wanted to scream for Alex to save her

"That girl will be Alex's burden.." Trixie's words were again ringing in Reina's ears

"The luna is weak.."

"Yes, I can't be Alex's burden. He didn't bother to save me anyway." Reina bathed while wiping her tears.

Reina slowly walked towards the door and moved her grendel

"Damn, locked.."Rutuk Reina's.

The girl looked at the window. The thin curtains covering it indicate the absence of iron bars in the window. Most likely Reina could escape from there

Reina walked towards the window and opened it. The girl was aghast as she realized she was far above the ground

"No bars should be allowed. Can't get out either.." Reina grunt

The girl fell back into bed feeling her head throbbing. Reina rubbed the sick part while thinking how to escape from this place

Without Reina noticing, her hands emitted a silvery-gold colored radiance

Alex's teeth rattled through the messages left by Reina's captors

"Come tonight to Holly's hill to exchange your Pack leadership for your mate's life!"

"Damn! They used Reina to pressure me. I won't forgive them if Reina gets a little scuffed." Grumpy Alex.

The man immediately used a thick coat that resembled a bulletproof jacket to withstand the attack from the Werewolf and snatched his metal claws

"You want to go, Alex?" robert asked as he saw Alex quickly traverse the room. Everyone is gathered in the family room

Alex's steps came to a halt and looked at Robert "I have to save my wife, father."

"You're starting to go crazy, Alex. Getting there and freeing Reina is tantamount to exchanging your life!" said Trixie hard

Alex stared at Trixie with a smile "If it's for Reina's freedom, I'd trade it."

"You're crazy! You have to think about the continuation of the Pack, Alex! You can find Luna a replacement!" Trixie is still trying to persuade Alex

"I wouldn't be able to take care of Pack if it wasn't Reina who was by my side." Alex turned towards Evan with a serious look

"If I die, you'll have to kill the Werewolf that killed me immediately to keep our Pack."

"Sister! Don't talk so recklessly! You're the strongest Werewolf in the Wind Wind Winders Pack. You're not gonna die!" evan's voice sounded vibrating

Alex pulled the tip of his lips. Compared to him, Evan was more tasteful and more whiny

"Alex, you haven't been able to transform. Maybe Reina isn't your mate, don't sacrifice yourself for her.." Trixie

"I don't care if I can do shifts or not, Trix! The important thing is Reina, only Reina!" Alex snapped making Trixie slightly retreat while staring at Alex in disbelief

Alex closed his eyes while nodding "I love Reina.."
