According to the book Reina read last night, for the Werewolves, marriage was not something that had to be done in a big way. When a Werewolf meets his mate, he can instantly claim his mate as his own and can ask for his right to unify. They can also be said to have married because they have marked each other.

However, some Packs still require the Werewolf couples to marry before they can unify. This is not just a tradition, but also as a sign of gratitude to the Moon Goddess. Wind Winders Pack includes packs that still hold this tradition

"You're kidding, right, sir?" Reina said when she heard Robert's words.

It was very curious that Reina saw Robert suddenly laugh and say "praank!" on himself. But it didn't come true. Robert looked in surprise at Alex

"You said the girl agreed to marry you."

"Yes dad. We're getting married today. I've asked Willy to set up a back garden as the ceremony venue and have Uncle Nick call Elder Eqwin to preside over the wedding ceremony." Alex flat as he bites his sandwich

Reina's eyes widened on hearing Alex's unilateral decision

"When did I agree to get married?"

Alex raised an eyebrow while looking at Reina "Don't tell me you forgot this morning. Your actions this morning were enough of a statement to agree to marry me."

Reina gaping. In his heart he cursed what happened this morning. Robert and Alicia smiled broadly

"Then you must get ready. The wedding will be held in the back garden.."

"Sorry sir, but you can't just decide. It's marriage" Reina said, trying to negotiate

"You're rejecting me?"

Reina looked at Alex. The man's eyes looked hurt. I don't know why Reina couldn't bear to see Alex like that

"It's not so, but.."

"Then there's no problem, right? We're getting married in two hours" Alex said, coding some servants to get Reina ready

Reina felt very upset and angry. The girl brushed off the hand of the servant who was about to take her. Reina's eyes stared intently at Alex while standing up

"Listen, Mr. Ulrich, there is no wedding today. If you still insist, then I'll make sure I never marry you!"

Alex stared intently at Reina and growled loudly. His face looked angry, only this time there was a woman who dared to snap while pointing at him

Reina still maintained her attitude even though in the heart of the girl was a little shrill because Reina realized, her interlocutor is not an ordinary human being

Alicia watched the two then laughed while clapping "Great, Reina. That's how a Luna's attitude should be."

Alicia stood up and approached Reina. Alicia gently rubbed Reina's shoulders, trying to ease the girl's emotions

"May I talk to you, baby?"

Reina looked towards Alicia. Alicia's smile reminded Reina of Penny. After some hesitation, Reina was convinced that Alicia would not hurt her.

"Alright." said Reina softened

Alicia smiled and took Reina away from the dining room. Alex watched the two women get out of the dining room.

"You're selfish, brother. At least ask her opinion, let alone in an event as important as this." Evan

"I'd be selfish, E.. If it's for Pack's sake, I'll be selfish." Alex said, still looking at the dining room door

Evan was about to return to talk, but Faye's squeezed hand stopped him. The woman coded not to argue with Alex. Evan took a long breath

"If you keep this up, you won't find love and grow love in the heart of your mate, brother."

The wedding ceremony between Alex and Reina was held in a sacred and simple manner and was attended by family, close relatives and close friends

I don't know what Alicia said, but Alex thanked Reina for agreeing to hold the wedding ceremony

In the Wind Wind Winders Pack tradition, the Alpha wedding ceremony is held sacred and closed. Usually, they will hold a massive wedding party when Wolf Moon happens in January

Alex smiled as she opened the bridal veil and saw Reina standing before her. Either because of the makeup used, Alex feels Reina looks much prettier.

"You may kiss your bride, Alexander."

Elder Eqwin's voice made Alex aware of his charm. Soon Alex cupped Reina's face and touched Reina's lips with hers. There was a sound of everyone present clapping as Alex felt Reina return her kiss. Alex wrapped her hands around Reina's waist and pulled the woman closer to her

"Dear Reina, I'm sorry I didn't pick up your phone. Mom's been out of town for a few days. Maybe mom will rarely contact you because of signal limitations. Fine at home yes. Love you, mom."

Reina sighed when she saw Penny's reply on her phone. It seems to be related to Penny's work as a florist. Penny did several times out of town even abroad to collect some flower seeds and develop them in a place that is often called 'greenhouse'. Penny had never once taken Reina to the greenhouse, and Reina did not bother about it much

Which will be the problem, most likely Penny will go berserk when she finds out Reina decided to get married without involving herself. It's not Reina's fault, Penny herself can't be reached

"You're daydreaming."

Reina was stunned as she felt a soft pat on her shoulder. Alex sat next to Reina. Both were on Alex's balcony. The atmosphere looks so calm even though music and the voices of people talking in the park.

Although the wedding ceremony was closed, Alex's marriage was quickly spread. Some Wind Wind Winders Pack members who are in the human world took the time to come and congratulate. So does Alpha from another pack

All day Alex and Reina received congratulations. Alex also took the opportunity to introduce Reina to her guests, most of whom were from her own people, the werewolves.

The day before dusk as guests begin to dwindle. Alicia also told Alex and Reina to rest in Alex's room that has been prepared in such a way as the bridal room

"Actually I was wondering, what did my mother tell you until you agreed to this marriage?" alex looked at the girl next to him

Reina gave a small laugh while looking back at Alex "Why? Do you regret getting married, Mr Ulrich?"

"Yes, I'm sorry.."

Reina was speechless hearing Alex's reply which looked at her seriously. The man slowly smiled gently

"I'm sorry, I should've gotten married the first time we met."

Reina's eyes bulged. The girl's reflexes hit Alex's arm softly "Basic crazy. Who wants to be like that."

Alex chuckles. The man stroked Reina's head and pulled the girl to sit closer to him

Reina let her head rest on Alex's sturdy shoulder. For a lifetime, only this time Reina was leaning on a man's shoulder, and it felt quite pleasant. It feels like when you get close to Alex, Reina seems to be bewitched

"Alex, may I ask you a question?"

"sure.."

"Every night, when you're facing three werewolves.. Why don't you transform?" Reina asked as she straightened her head, staring at Alex

Alex's face was a little moody. The man lifted Reina's body up into his lap. Reina felt the effect of butterflies in her stomach as Alex sucked her head around Reina's neck and inhaled deeply the fragrant scent of the girl's body

"Do you know what Alpha means?" Alex asked while peeping at Reina's neck and shoulders, making Reina unable to concentrate fully

"Mmh I know.. Are you an Alpha?"

Alex nodded his head.

"Ck, you deserve to be stubborn, possessive and act accordingly.." Reina Bathin

Alex raised his head while laughing "I know what you're thinking, baby."

Reina reflexes frown. He seems to be insecure even in his own mind. Alex re-inserted his head to Reina's shoulders and neck

"Are no Alphas allowed to change in form when facing an ordinary Werewolf?" Ask Reina again. The girl tipped a little amusedly as the fine hairs on Alex's jaw rubbed against her neck

Alex's movement stopped "It's not okay..I can't."

Alex's voice sounded sad. Reina distanced her body to stare at Alex. The brown eyes that usually shone sharp now showed sadness.

"meaning?" Ask Reina

Alex hugged Reina again and sucked her head around Reina's neck. The man again kissed Reina's neck to the shoulder. The girl slightly looked up to make Alex move more freely around her neck. Alex's kiss stopped over Reina's neck bandage. The man closed his eyes while inhaling the scent of Reina's body as if it could provide strength

"That's my weakness, Reina. I can't transform." Whisper Alex hoarse.

Reina again distanced her body and raised Alex's chin to look at her. Alex's eyes don't lie.

"Werewolves are famous for their strength and speed in movement. I have all that, even my strength and speed are above the average of other Werewolves. It's just that, there's no wolf soul in me that's causing me to be unable to change." Alex replied as she stroked Reina's cheek

"Is that important? I mean, you're ahead in the fight, right?" Reina stroked Alex's jaw, covered in fine feathers

"Stay, I lost in size. Some werewolves will also not accept an Alpha who cannot do shifts, because in the event of a battle, I am responsible for the safety of myself and my clan."

Alex smiled sadly. Makes Reina's heart a little crisp. Reina took the initiative to hug Alex's head and caress the man's dense hair

Alicia's words again ringed in Reina's ears...
