PART 28'S

Penny looked towards Reina who was still sitting lethargic looking out the window. Since returning home from an out-of-town assignment, her daughter has looked moody and uninspired. Penny asks what happened, but Reina only says she is tired because of the task assigned to her

Penny breathed. He never worked in the office so he did not know what kind of workload Reina was facing

"Aunt Penny, this is me bringing some spices from Indonesia. I thought you'd like it."

Penny was stunned by his daydreams when Kirk offered a paperbag smelling of spices. Penny smiled at Kirk. They have been neighbors for a long time, Reina and Kirk grew up together. Penny knew long ago Kirk had put his heart on his daughter. If only Reina didn't belong to 'that person', Penny would have strongly agreed to Kirk and Reina's relationship

"Thank you, Kirk. You're so nice." Penny said with a smile

"Ng, is Reina around? If I may, I'd like to take him for a walk." asked Kirk. The young man glanced towards the house

"There was. I'll call ya for a second" Penny said as she walked inside

Kirk smiled happily. It was a pretty sunny Sunday, perfect for a walk. Kirk hasn't seen Reina in a while since their last meeting at Wind-Corp's stockroom.

Alex sat down and looked at the two people walking together. His eyes kept watching like the eyes of a Wolf watching his prey. Seeing Reina smile at the man next to her making a painful pulse in Alex's chest, Alex had never felt this kind of feeling

"Alpha, it's been two weeks. Shouldn't you pick Luna home?" ask Willy who faithfully always accompanied Alex

"He hates me, Willy. He said it once and my chest hurt. I'm afraid he'll say it again." Alex is still looking towards Reina and Kirk. The two men sat in front of the ice cream shop ordering two ice cream cones

"I'm sorry, Alpha. But should you come to Luna and confess your feelings before this misunderstanding spreads?"

Alex glanced at Willy from the rearview mirror "I mean? What misunderstanding?"

"Mh..Rumors in the house have spread to Vadre Land about Luna leaving Alpha unloved by Alpha."

"What?!" Alex shouted loudly as he advanced his body towards Willy. Fortunately, the car was soundproofed so Alex's roar was not heard coming out

"Pardon me.." Willy was a little frightened because Alex's eyes had turned red

"What did they say?!" Alex pulled the back collar of Willy's shirt so the man choked a little

"Said to be, Alpha's just using his mate. A-Alpha simply marries her mate to attract the soul of the wolf that hides inside her body but fails.." Said Willy stammering

"Then?"

"H-just that.."

Alex snorted loudly and removed his grip from the back collar of Willy's shirt so the man coughed. The news is half right. Alex does marry Reina to help draw the wolf's soul in her, but when asked if Alex loves Reina or not, Alex does not know.

Alex has never been in love before, he only refers to the words of Elder Eqwin who says his feelings with Reina are just an in heat when Werewolf meets his mate.

Alex only knows he's comfortable around Reina. Alex smiled as the girl smiled, grieving as Reina cried and this time her chest was hot upon seeing Reina with another man. Things Alex never felt when with his date, even with Trixie though

Willy glanced at Alex from behind the front view. Alex is a smart man, but why is it that when this kind of affair his Alpha seems to be stupid

"You're mocking me?" Alex's lyrics are sharp

"T-no. I'm sorry, Alpha." Willy forgets that Alex can read the minds of the people he wants

Alex looked back at the two people laughing at each other. Alex's hands clenched firmly to see that someone else was laughing with his wife. His chest was burning hot

Alex suddenly got out of the car

Kirk orders a chocolate vanilla ice cream cone for himself and Reina. Throughout Kirk's memory, the girl had been very fond of vanilla chocolate ice cream

"This is the ice cream. Eat and laugh constantly" Kirk said as he handed Reina ice cream

"Danger if you keep laughing. Could be put in a Mental Hospital." Guru Reina

"Aunty Penny said you've been quiet since you got home from work out of town. What's up?" tanya Kirk looked at Reina

Reina shook her head slowly "It's okay."

"Does this have anything to do with the guy who hit me last week?" ask Kirk again.

Reina looked at Kirk. The man smiled gently as he approached Reina's face. Kirk's thumb rubbed Reina's lower lip

"There's an ice cream here" Kirk said softly as he sucked his thumb without breaking eye contact, making Reina's face look flushed

"Sugary.." Whisper Kirk as he approached to kiss Reina.

Reina reflexively rewinds her head but Kirk's hand restrains her nape. Suddenly Kirk felt his body hover and hit the asphalt. The pain immediately whipped his body.

It happened so fast. Reina glared at the sight of Kirk hovering and slamming so easily onto the asphalt by someone..

Alex?

Reina immediately stood up, just as Alex pulled Kirk's collar to stand up and slid his fist into Kirk's face while shouting

"How dare you touch Reina!"

Kirk is back on the asphalt. Reina shrieked and immediately ran over to Kirk. A bruised face and blood flowing from the nose. Reina grimaced to see it. Some people began to see the incident, as if getting a free spectacle

"I'm sorry, Kirk." Whisper Reina while helping Kirk stand up. The man smiled as if he said he was okay

Reina looked towards Alex who was looking at Reina and Kirk with a hard to interpret look. Alex's gaze was sharp, his eyes as dark as night

"What are you doing!" Reina said angry. To be honest, the girl was afraid to see Alex because she knew he was in a big rage

Alex walked up to Reina. Kirk's reflexes pulled Reina to stand behind him as if to protect the girl from Alex. Alex's heart throbbed even more when he saw Reina holding on to Kirk's arm

"I'm just keeping mine." Said Alex in

Some people saw the quarrel of the three, making Reina feel uncomfortable

"Kirk, we're home." Invite Reina, but Alex first pulls Reina's hand

"No, you come home with me, Rein."

Reina slapped Alex's hand and looked angrily at the man

"You! You always do it! Who would want to come home with you?! You haven't been looking for me for two weeks, have you?!" reina said cynically, making Alex sculpt to hear Reina's words.

Not looking for him he said? Every day Alex watches Reina from a distance

"I don't want to see you yet, Alex. So go away." Banish Reina

Alex's heart grew even more sad, as if Reina was rejecting him. Her chest was hot seeing Kirk's hand tightly clasping Reina's hand

"Alright, do as you please! I don't care anymore!" alex said as he turned around

Alex quickly got into his car. Soon Willy was running his car through the crowded city of Kingston

Reina notices Alex's car leaving her, all of a sudden..

Dzig..

Reina held onto her chest which was painful as if pierced by an arrow. Alex's attitude just now was as if Alex was rejecting himself.

Did ya? After what he gave?

Reina's legs felt limp as if they were powerless. The girl sat down on the sidewalk and started crying.
