"The reason is..."

"Sir, we have arrived. Your personal helicopter is waiting in front" Willy said, cutting off Alex's speech

Alex stared intently at Willy through the rearview mirror. As an Alpha, Alex doesn't like to have his words cut by someone. Willy also looks nervous while gripping the steering wheel firmly. Reina who saw that sighed, in her grasp Alex's cheeks were soft

"Don't be mad at Willy. Let's go home, I'm tired" Reina said with a smile

Alex nodded then glimpsed Willy before the man got out of the car. Sharp highlight Alex's netra slowly softened

"Thanks, Willy." Mind-link Alex

Willy breathed a sigh of relief as he looked at Alex and Reina who were coming out of the car through the rearview mirror

Willy recalled Alex's message not to divulge any preconceived notions about Reina's identity as there was no hard evidence yet. Willy was forced to cut Alex's speech because he was worried that Reina would continue to ask questions later despite having to accept a sharp gaze from Alex. Willy was grateful Alex was just staring at him, not punishing him

The helicopter ride from Quebec to Toronto takes about 1.5 hours. They landed on the runway of the helicopter belonging to the Ulrich family located on the hill behind the Ulrich family home

Reina just found out there's a helicopter pad here. The girl knows that Alex's family belongs to a wealthy family, but Reina now can't imagine how rich Alex is to have a private helicopter at home

"Let's get off. You rest first, I've asked the waiter to prepare a meal" Alex said as he led Reina down from the helicopter

Alex felt Reina's grip strengthen as she saw Trixie coming towards them. Alex smiled, then grabbed Reina by the waist and pulled the girl close to him

"Hi, have you arrived?" It was heard that Trixie's voice was impressed with pleasantries. The green-eyed lady spread her beautiful smile, which Reina thought was full of falsehoods. Somehow Reina didn't like Trixie that much, probably because of the beating yesterday.

"We just arrived. What's the news?" alex asked in a flat tone as usual, making Reina's heart slightly cheer at the disappointed look on Trixie's face

"No one, Alpha. The company's business is going well." Answer Trixie who is trying to align her steps with Alex

"Call Evan at dinner, I have something to talk to him about. I want to rest first with my wife." replied Alex as she tightened her arms around Reina's waist as she climbed the stairs to her room

From yesterday's incident, Alex learned a little bit that Reina has jealousy towards Trixie. Alex does not want Reina to leave his side again because she doubts his feelings

Secretly Reina glanced towards Trixie who was stopping under the stairs. The woman looks upset, but cannot protest Alex.

The citrus and musk fragrance came out of Alex's room. The room is almost similar to Alex's room in Vadre Land. The difference is, the interior here looks more modern

"You want to go straight to sleep?" alex asked as he helped Reina lie down

Actually Reina was quite tired of her activities last night and this morning with Alex, but something stuck in her mind. The girl sat at the head of the bed staring at Alex, thinking of a way for Alex to grant her request

"What's Rein?" alex asked as he stroked Reina's face

"I.I want to go home to my house in Kingston.."

Reina stopped her speech when she saw Alex's jaw harden

"Do you want to get away from me again?" alex asked with sharp eyes

Reina immediately grabbed Alex's hand and rubbed it gently. Reina deliberately did not make a sound when rubbing Alex's hands and chest so that the man's emotions slightly subsided

Reina still rubbed Alex's chest while pausing her sentence

"You haven't met Mom either, have you? I want you to meet to get to know each other. Did I ask you wrong, Alex?"

Alex looked at Reina's netra amber. Netra that can melt all Alex's ego

"You haven't told us about our relationship with him?"

Reina shook her head softly "I thought yesterday our relationship wouldn't go this long. So I deliberately didn't tell mom. Besides yesterday I was wondering if you really loved me or just needed me to pull your soul and leave.."

Alex puts his index finger on Reina's lips, making the girl stop talking. Alex's eyes looked at Reina while Alex's fingers gently brushed her long hair

"I need you to complete myself. When we misunderstood yesterday and you left me alone, it felt like half my heart was gone."

Alex stroked Reina's face and cupped the girl's cheek

"Never leave me, no matter what happens.. Never leave me, Rein.." whispered Alex as he gently kissed Reina's lips and looked at Reina's reddish face

"Tomorrow we'll go to Kingston to see your mother" Alex said, clutching Reina's body in his arms. The girl smiled broadly as she returned Alex's embrace. It seems Reina is very happy

Drr...Drrrt Alex's phone vibrated on the nightstand near the bed. Someone sent me an email, Alex immediately opened and read the headline in his email

Wolfsbane search results.

Alex's eyes were wide. How could Alex miss something so important. The man was upset that Gamma Lyxor and Gamma Sky had sent the results of their investigation a month ago, while Evan had just sent the results of his latest investigation

Alex watches every image taken by Evan, Lyxor and Sky through their drone carefully. In images taken by Lyxor and Sky, there is no sign of wolfsbane breeding there. Likewise with the picture that Evan sent, but when Alex opened the last picture that Evan sent, the man's eyes squinted

Reina was very curious about what Alex saw. The girl tried to steal a look at Alex's phone. Seeing that, Alex immediately thrust his phone at Reina

"Would you like to see?"

Alex's words successfully made Reina blush embarrassed because she was curious what made Alex very serious about seeing his phone

"Can?" ask Reina

Alex immediately handed me his phone. Reina's forehead was slightly wrinkled looking at the pictures that the Alex members had sent

"What's this?" ask Reina while scrolling through all the pictures sent

"I'm asking some Gamma to investigate about wolfsbane because there have been several attacks on the border by rogue and ended up with arrows with wolfsbane poison" Alex said while zooming in on the image Evan had just sent

"You see? Looks like this house is a little suspicious because it looks from the glass if they have a lot of purple blue plants." Continue Alex

"Why not see it up close?" Ask Reina. Alex smiled a little

"Wolfsbane is one of the Werewolf's weaknesses. The poison in the flower could stop our breathing slowly. There's no cure yet.."

Reina thought for a moment and looked at Alex

"Do you want me to help you investigate?"
