PART 12'S

Suddenly something jumps towards Alex and Reina. Alex quickly hugged Reina's body and took her rolling to the side

"Byeah!" Reina screamed and reflexively hugged Alex tightly

Alex quickly got up in a position still hugging Reina. Alex's eyes glared sharply at the figure of a big gray-haired wolf. On the wolf's forehead was a sign of a symbol

"Rogue.." sizzled Alex.

"A-lex.. They were everywhere." whispered Reina trembling. Reina's hand held Alex's arm

Alex turned his head, not just one but three wolves with different fur but the same mark. Alex quickly pulled Reina behind his body and took out his metal claws while putting up the horses.

The three wolves stared intently at Alex and Reina while snorting. His breath was visible as the wolves breathed

"GRAAAWS!"

One wolf leapt towards Alex. Alex quickly gave his swivel kick to the wolf's stomach so that the wolf slammed to the side. His voice sounded loud

The wolf on the right again jumped up while roaring loudly. Alex immediately grabbed Reina and jumped up high dodging the attack.

"Let's!" Reina screamed as she felt her body drift along with Alex's jumping movements. Alex lands perfectly, but moves back in as the two wolves re-invade simultaneously

Alex can only take defensive action because he also has to keep Reina from being hurt by the Rouge

The craat!

"gig!" Alex grimaced as a stinging pain from his back. One wolf managed to claw Alex's back making the man a little whiffy

"Alex!" Reina screeched as she watched Alex grimace with her body falling to her knees

The two wolves walked slowly while growling. Alex turned around and faced the two wolves that surrounded him from both directions. Akex quickly hid Reina behind his body.

From her place, Reina could see a wiggle on Alex's shirt and a hint of blood seeping through. Alex was apparently wearing a thick vest that held the wolf's fingernails so as not to hurt him too deeply. Reina still felt sorry to see it.

"Stay where you are, baby." Said Alex. His voice sounded calm

The gray-haired wolf mixed in black snarled loudly before quickly leaping towards Alex and Reina. Alex immediately dispelled the wolf by throwing his kick until the wolf slammed into the back.

The other wolf quickly pounced on Alex. Alex leaped agilely over the wolf and gave his fist to the head of the gray-white wolf.

"GRAOOO!!"

The wolf roared and tried to throw Alex away. Alex jumped back. The black gray wolf that Alex kicked quickly confronted Alex. Now in front of Alex were two wolves who growled furiously

Alex pulled the tip of his lips "Two Rogue won't kill me easily!"

But Alex's tail caught a movement. The first gray wolf in Alex rose and settled down behind Reina. The girl was unaware of the danger approaching her as she focused on looking at Alex. Alex's concentration broke, the man let his guard down.

"Reina, lookout!" Alex shouted to Reina. But the gray-white wolf jumps up and knocks Alex down. His big foot stepped on Alex's injured back. His nails stuck at Alex's feet

"Aargha!" Alex yelled as he felt the sting on his back and legs

"Alex!" Shouted Reina

But the girl froze when she heard the loud growl behind her. Slowly the girl turned around and glared horror towards the gray wolf who was as if grinning at her

"No! Release her!" Shouts Alex.

The man grimaced as the gray-white wolf's stomp grew stronger on his back as if holding Alex from moving

The gray wolf snarled loudly then jumped towards Reina. Reina screamed while covering her face with her arms

"Let's go!!"

Just then, the white-haired wolf with a blue mark on its head jumped up and tore the gray wolf's neck away earlier. The two wolves that attacked Alex seemed to be in shock. Alex felt the footing of the gray-white wolf on his back slightly loosening. The blue-marked white wolf on his head stood up and pounced towards the wolf who was stepping on Alex

Alex growling. Quickly Alex stomped up and attacked the black gray wolf. With a single slash, Alex's metal claws managed to injure the wolf's neck. The wolf sprawled on the ground and returned to human form

The white wolf with blue markings that turned out to be Willy had returned to human form. Alex was sitting there with pain in his back and shoulders. Willy immediately approached Alex, making sure his Alpha was okay

"Master, they are Rouge who attacked the border yesterday." Reported Willy when he saw the human form of the Rouge earlier. Alex's eyes squinted while looking at the three bodies that had been lying down

"They seem to be after me. Find out who told them!" Said Alex. Willy nodded obediently

Alex turned around and looked at Reina who was sitting down while covering her mouth. The girl seemed shocked to see the fight that had happened earlier. Slowly Alex approached Reina limping

Alex crouched down next to Reina and gently held Reina's shoulder "Rein, are you okay?"

The girl blinked and looked at Alex. To be honest Reina was frightened and wanted to run away immediately, but upon seeing Alex's sight and condition, Reina suddenly became panicked

"Oh my God, there are so many wounds! You need to go to the hospital! You're..."

"I'll just go home. You're coming with me, yeah." Alex said as she stroked Reina's cheek to calm the girl down

Reina really wants to go home. But seeing Alex's condition, Reina could not bear to leave him. Alex was hurt a lot protecting her. Reina nodded then looked at the bodies of the Rouge who attacked them earlier

"Just calm down, someone's gonna take care of it." Alex said as if reading Reina's mind

BRAAK!

Trixie breaks the table when she sees Alex's condition. Alex is currently in his room after being visited by Dr. Brian, a Watcher and a doctor.

"What did you do until Alex got seriously injured?!" Trixie jerk on Willy

Willy just looked down not daring to stare at Trixie. The girl was the third Gamma in Wind Winders to train an army. The only girl who trains troops. It would be very wrong to look for Trixie, especially the girl has an explosive temperament

"Trix, stop. Alex is fine too. You forget, Alex's ability to heal himself is much faster than other yahg? Besides Brian's doctor has given him drugs to help the healing process." Evan said calmly. The man coded Willy to leave immediately.

Werewolves do have the ability to heal themselves from minor injuries on the condition that they should rest. While for moderate and heavy injuries, need help from healers or doctors of the human world with modern medicine.

Trixie snorted bitterly while folding her hands in front of her chest. "It's all because of that girl, right?"

"No, it's because the Rogue attacked Alex. We're investigating who told them to attack our Alpha." Said Evan.

The man knows where Trixie's talking is going. Evan tried to shift the subject. But it seemed like Trixie still wanted to discuss what was on her mind

"Who's the girl? Why is she with Alex?" Ask Trixie

Evan looked at Trixie. There was no point in hiding who Reina really was. Everyone will know

"He's mate Alex." Said Evan

Trixie's eyes were round as if she wanted to jump out. The woman snarled loudly

"You're lying, E!"

"Hey.calm down, Trix! Alex is resting." Evan quickly calmed Trixie down while staring at the second floor where Alex's room was

"That must be wrong! That girl is not Alex's mate!" Trixie said loudly as if not received with the news that Evan delivered

"Stop Trix! You can be considered a traitor because of that remark!" Evan said while emphasizing his voice

"Damn it!" Bait Trixie while dipping her fingers into her hair. The girl walked quickly to the exit. Before reaching the door, the girl turned to look at Evan angrily

"The girl will be Alex's burden. Better ask Alex to reject her!"

Trixie turned around and walked out slamming the door. Evan sighed softly while shaking his head. Without Evan noticing, someone also heard what Trixie said.

Reina looked at the sleeping Alex. The man's breathing was regular. The wounds from the attack in the park have been treated by Dr. Brian, a human doctor and also a Watcher. Reina just found out the term for a human who was very close to the Werewolf world. The girl was quite relieved to know she was not the only human involved with the Werewolf

Alex's face looked slumbering, probably due to the influence of sleeping pills given by Brian's doctor. Slowly Reina touched Alex's cheeks and jaw. There's a trace of a wound in Alex's temple. Reina observes the bandages that were weighted on Alex's burly body and his left leg. The man was only wearing shorts without a top shirt.

Reina slowly covers Alex's body. Reina's heart suddenly felt sore. Because protecting himself was Alex becoming like this.

"I'm sorry." whispered Reina while holding Alex's hand. Reina cursed her who could do nothing during the assault on the park

Just as Reina was about to come down to get some drinking water, she heard what Trixie said

"The girl will be Alex's burden. Better ask Alex to reject her!"

Reina doesn't want to be a burden to Alex. The man deserved a matching mate for himself, who could fight beside him instead of a troublesome mate like Reina.

Reina knew the meaning of the reject, from the book she read. If a Werewolf gets the mate, then his mate refuses by saying a sacred two-word word, then it will make a Werewolf lose touch with his mate.

First of all, he has his own choices and wants to live by his choices. But couples like this rarely end up happy because they oppose the soul mate of the Moon Goddess.

The second possibility, the Werewolf will live with a feeling of emptiness without the feeling of love and it will make his strength decline and die slowly.

But that is very rare, because every predestined Werewolf couple will have a reciprocal feeling of love.

But Reina was not a Werewolf..

Reina decided to reject Alex, but then she thought. The rejection will not have too much impact on Reina, because she can find her own partner fellow humans after she forgets Alex.
