Vadre Land, 100 years ago..
"Exploda Strike!!"
A blue light shot out rapidly from the staff that was brandished by a red-clad woman towards the three-headed huge snake that was ready to prey on a golden silver-haired werewolf
BOOM!! The three-headed snake instantly exploded into pieces. The werewolf turned towards the red-clad woman with a stupefied breath. Scattered bones rang out signaling the werewolf was returning to its human form, a man.
"Reign, why are you here?! You should go with your father!"
The red-hooded woman named Reign stared angrily as she flicked the hood that covered her head "You're crazy, Arge! You think you can fight the Mystiques Beast alone?!"
Arge - the man - sighed. Arge had not yet opened his mouth, his instinct caught the danger. The man quickly leaped his salto backwards coinciding with a thumping sound before him
"Ang!!" reign shouted in frustration as he saw the giant ape monster leap before Arge
"Rebelon Ape.." sizzle Arge. Arge's eyes turned silver.
Rebelon Ape wore a smile that showed off his long fangs while looking at Arge
"Argeronz.. I finally met the leader of Vadre Land."
"You! You broke the rules of the ancestors going into Vadre Land!" Said Arge loudly while pointing fearlessly towards Rebelon Ape who was three times as big as him
"Haha..I'm invited, Arge. No one could open the portal of the Beast world with the Werewolf except the people from Vadre Land." Rebelon Ape said as he pointed to the side
Arge's eyes puffed up as he followed the direction of Rebelon Ape's hand. A look of disappointment and anxiety was clearly drawn on his face
"Reign..."

Today.
Wind-Corp, a company engaged in the trading of petroleum and natural products. Has several branch children scattered throughout the country. In downtown Toronto, Canada, the central Wind-Corp building looms majestically
On the 35th floor of the Wind-Corp building, behind a large door guarded by several people dressed in black and black was the CEO Room of Wind-Corp. Citrus and Wood fragrances came out as the door opened, entering the room in a masculine tone. There was a man standing looking at the dense city behind his glass window
He is Alexander Ulrich or commonly called Alex, the CEO of Wind-Corp. Replacing his father, Robert Ulrich who prefers to spend his old age with fishing or hunting in the forest along with Alicia Ulrich, his wife.
"Sister.."
Alex turns around and sees Evander Ulrich, his younger brother, who enters with a laptop in his hand. At first glance, they do not look like family. Alex's stature is large while Evan is smaller and thinner. Alex is more efficient smile than Evan who always shows off his neat teeth. Evan's hair is lighter than Alex's. The only similarity of these two brothers is the sharp look of the eye
"This is what I brought your order. List of new employees in the central Wind-Corp and Wind-Corp branches in several cities. Almost half of them are human. There's no intruder." Evan said while throwing his buttocks onto a soft sofa made of synthetic leather. The man immediately opened and fiddled with his laptop, while Alex again saw the city crowd from behind his clear window
"Ohya, Uncle Nick said that tomorrow is the 5th birthday of Wind-Corp at Kingston. Brother should come over there and.."
"Why didn't you come?" Alex cuts Evan's speech. Evan stopped his hand movements on the laptop keyboard and looked at his older brother
"Since you're now the CEO of Wind-Corp, then you should come big brother." Answer Evan carefully.
Alex snorted loudly. Since childhood, Alex has been given great responsibility and has been prepared as a leader, complete with his shortcomings and advantages. Whether it is a gift or a curse, Alex must inevitably live it
Evan's answer is actually a pleasant answer. Evan knows that Alex is actually still reluctant to attend company events like this
Alex stared intently at Evan "Everyone in the Pack supports me? Don't forget the events on Holly's hill two years ago."
Evan puts on an unpleasant face when Alex alludes to an event that is quite imprecise, especially for Alex
"I knew.. They are traitors. They carried out illegal transactions with other packs and allegedly planned an uprising. But it's all resolved, right? You threw Beta Joey and his nieces out of the Pack."
"If I'd rather agree that you finish them off." continued Evan in a soft voice
"I still hear it." Alex said flatly as he glanced towards Evan. The man sat on the sofa with Evan
"I can't blame them completely. Not all members can accept that their Alpha can't do shifts." Alex breathed a hard sigh while leaning his back on the sofa
Alexander and Evander Ulrich are the werewolves of the Wind Winders Pack, one of the four largest packs. In the selection of an Alpha a pack, does not necessarily immediately appoint a replacement. There is a process that must be done and followed by a few selected young people in the allowed age range. Starting from how to lead, solve clan problems, negotiate to victory in the battle ring. It is also observed by the clan elders commonly called The Elders
After a long and grueling process, Ulrich was elected Alpha for the Wind Winders Pack, succeeding his father Robert Ulrich. Alex won all the games he won to earn his clan's Alpha position
The only weakness of Alexander Ulrich is not being able to do shifts, which is to transform into a form of wolf. There is no wolf soul in Alex, for some reason it can happen even though Alex is a pure descendant of werewolves.
However, it is proven that Alex is able to defeat his competitors in the arena of fighting when his competitors use werewolf mode while he uses ordinary human mode. It was the Elders' decision to hand over the Alpha position to Alex
Alex gnashed his forehead to relax his mind. Suddenly the man turned his head towards Evan while squinting his eyes
"I know, you think my heart is too weak, right?!" Alex said as he looked at Evan who looked stupefied. Evan forgets that Alex can read people's minds as long as he wants.
"I'm worried about you, brother. You're too kind. I'm afraid you pity the enemy when we're at war." Evan bluntly said
Alex stood up and looked out the window. Looks like the streets of Toronto that began snaking because of the usual congestion in rush hours like today. The two were silent for a while
Evan let out a long sigh "I know your closeness to Uncle Joey, but that shouldn't stop you from punishing him."
"He's already accepted his sentence in exile, Ev!" Alex said a little loudly
"She begged you not to kill her and her family. I think it's just an excuse to keep him alive and to set up a vengeance in his place of exile." Evan tried to argue
"Shut up!!" Alex roared furiously. Alex's eyes turned red and stared intently at Evan.
Evan instantly fell silent when he saw Alex's emotions. Although Alex can not do shifts, still Alex is an Alpha whose strength can not be underestimated
The two are silent. Only the roar of Alex's breath was more regular
"You don't have to worry. I'll protect our pack until the last blood. Not everything has to be solved by violence." Alex broke the silence
Alex admits that his heart is a little weak. Probably because there was no wolf soul in his body. Shadows from Joey's eyes so Alex doesn't kill him at the time.
"I'm sorry.." Evan said regretfully. Alex just fell silent as he looked back at the traffic jams that had begun to unravel
"The only way is you have to find your Mate, brother." Evan said as he stood up and walked out of Alex's room
Alex grieves. For 30 years of his life, never once did Alex feel a sensation that is often heard from friends or relatives when meeting their respective partners. Some of his cousins have found the mate, as well as Evan
According to the story he heard, a Werewolf can recognize his Soulmate with just one look or smell his partner who made him intoxicated even from a few meters away, and Alex has never felt it all
Alex shook his head while whispering slowly "It looks like my Mate has not been born into the world.."
