Section 12_How about Us?

Elio looked at Eiren who was walking on the sidewalk. Since coming out of the apartment, the girl did not stop her crying. It had been almost thirty minutes for Eiren to walk. In fact, the girl is still loyal to her steps under the cloudy sky.

“That's a child what's the intention to take a taxi?” ask him to himself.

Elio sped up the speed of his car, being in front of Eiren. He doesn't know what's going on. But, as he knew, Eiren was in a state of no good. With a hasty movement, he began to open the door and get out of the car. Immediately he stepped closer to Eiren who was still stepping aimlessly.

“Eiren,” call Elio with a shocked face because the state of Eiren is not as usual. Tears still flowed and the sight seemed to have no life at all.

“Why you?” elio asked with a worried face.

“Why are you still here? I need time alone,” Eiren said in a soft voice. He was not excited to do anything.

“Hey, you why?” elio asked as he shook Eiren's body slowly.

Eiren immediately pushed Elio as hard as he could. His eyes stared with hatred. “Go!” snapped with a fierce rage, “away from here. Just go away everyone. Leave me alone and no one comes near!” eiren shouted ignoring the streets that were indeed quiet. “Go from here. I don't want to depend on anyone,” he continued with melted tears.

Elio who heard felt so pity. Without a cue he immediately hugged Eiren tightly. He felt hurt seeing Eiren who was crying gurgled before him. What's wrong with her? It felt like he was really curious about Eiren's life.

“Tenace. No one will leave you,” Elio said as he propped up Eiren's body that almost fell on the ground.

“But he will leave me. I'll be alone again,” Eiren fights with a weakened body. His hands tightly clenched Elio's clothes.

“I don't know what you mean, but if he leaves you, there will still be me listening to your story,” Elio said unknowingly.

Eiren who heard ignored just like that and hugged Elio tightly. He was confused what to do. Usually, every time he has trouble, Alex will hug and calm him down. After that, everything feels good. But now, he was in the arms of another man. Eiren ignored the fact that the man before him was a lecturer who also taught him. He just wanted to finish all the pain he felt. It poignant? Nope. More precisely disappointed.

Elio held Eiren's body and looked at the red eyes that had been shedding tears. “I'll take you home.”

“Antar me to my parents' house,” replied Eiren still in a hoarse voice.

“You have a home here?” asked Elio with a frown. He thought Eiren didn't have a home.

Eiren just nodded. Elio himself did not want to get too involved in this. He just shut up and led Eiren to his car. After asking for an address, Elio immediately drove over and escorted Eiren. During the trip, the girl next to him just kept quiet while staring at the streets.

If you're going to get engaged to her, what about us?, inner Eiren fretted. He was always with Alex.

Eiren sighed loudly and looked at the rain that was starting to fall. In the end, I went back alone again.

“Ma, Pa,” cut Eiren with a lackluster face, “can you guys continue this insignificant debate outside? Eiren needs tranquility.”

Eiren had just arrived and was back to see her parents quarrel. The usual thing that was always done and it bored him. Life without the affection of parents who are always busy with their own world makes Eiren sick of life. Sometimes he envies friends who tell him about a family that is so peaceful. As for him, living with luxury abounds, but never felt happiness like all his friends.

Eiren climbed the stairs with lethargic steps and a disheveled face. He was tired and wanted to rest, but his arrival was only met with the sound of the quarrel of his parents. No warm hugs and cheerful smiles are welcome.

“I hope you will never go home,” he said as he threw the bag into the mattress.

Afterwards, Eiren broke down and stared at the ceiling of the house. “Again who wants to marry a girl who has a family full of problems?” eiren asked with his eyes looking upwards. “Obviously mom Alex doesn't want me to be her son's lover.”

Eiren let out a loud breath. “Mama is busy with her lover, Papa is also workaholic and even likes to play women. Then why is this marriage still maintained?” eiren asked without getting an answer, “I hope you guys split up soon and leave me alone in this house.”

Eiren closed his eyes. Tonight his mind is completely fucked. He must face the fact that Alex has another fiancee and that life will change later.

“I have to start living my own days again, right?” eiren said with a bland laugh.

Alex enters the house with a stirring emotion. He had just hurt the feelings of the person who meant the most to him. His steps were getting faster towards the living room, a place where his parents were chatting casually without thinking about his fate. His heart even felt extreme pain.

How will I be able to look at him? Will she understand what I mean?, inner Alex is afraid that Eiren will decide.

Alex stopped when he saw his parents chatting in front of the television. His steps grew faster and stopped right next to the two. Making the peaceful laughter in the room stop and turn to look at him.

“You're home, baby?” greet Chyntia with a friendly face.

Alex sighed loudly and looked at his mother sharply. “Explain with Alex, Ma. What are you guys really hiding. What does Alex not know and why suddenly Mama and Papa match me with Dora?” ask without further ado.

Robert-papa Alex immediately glanced at him with a cold face. "Nothing we're hiding. Papa just does not want papa's child to continue to connect with the girl in his family there is no harmony at all.”

“Lies,” says Alex fast, “what's true all because Papa has a debt with Dora's family? Is that why you guys set me up with him?”

Robert let out a loud sigh and immediately got up. “Iya,” she replied firmly, “that's why you don't look for trouble and reject this matchmaking. If you refuse, you will know the consequences,” threatened Robert with a cold face and went straight to the room.

Chyintia who saw could only be silent. She knew Alex was so tormented, but she was far from willing if her son married Eiren.

Alex growled in annoyance and immediately kicked the table hard. “Ahh,” he shouted as he passed into the room.
