"What else do you want, Gi?" asked Eser with a sharp glare while sitting on the single sofa a little far from Gia or Jia.

"I'm Jia, not Gia," he said, though his voice remained soft.

Eser looked more and more at the woman with a probing look. His gaze was much different. But Gia could be playing her part.
