The Touch of Gendis Love

The Touch of Gendis Love
Meet with Eser

After Ozge accepts Gendis' request, the two return to the Sevket residence. Gendis no longer stopped by the house. The woman decided to go home directly.

Gendis drove her car slowly. Despite being pregnant, she still drives on her own. Although this is often a debate between him, Eser, and also Damar. However, Gendis still did not care.

On a quiet street not far from his house, Gendis' car was forced to stop suddenly because he saw a grandmother sitting in the middle of the road. With a hurried step, the woman approached the grandmother.

"Grandmother why?" Gendis tried to help the grandmother stand up.

The old woman used a flower kebaya with a black base combined with an ancient lyrical pull cloth to raise her face. Squeezing narrowed eyes with wrinkles that are very noticeable in order to see the figure that approaches it more clearly.

"Grandmother wants to go home" replied the grandmother. Her voice was typical of old women in general.

Gendis smiled kindly at the grandmother who still kept the remnants of the beauty line on her face. "Where's grandma's house?"

The old woman shook her head weakly. Maybe he forgot. Gendis looked to the right and to the left, no one passed them.

"Where did the grandmother come from? Why did it get here?" Gendis asked again.

Grandma shook her head again. This time, he pointed in a direction. Gendis followed the old woman's index finger. Not leading for sure at one point. And it certainly makes Gendis even more confused.

"We're talking in the car, Grandma. It's so hot in here." Gendis guided the grandmother patiently and painstakingly.

After successfully sitting Grandma in the front seat of her car. Gendis immediately circled the front hood and went inside. Sitting behind the wheel quietly. His hand immediately grabbed the mineral water inside the bag. Still sealed. He opened the bottle and gave it to the old woman. "Grandma had a drink first, yes," he said.

The Grandma said, she slowly gulped down the clear water. Not much, but enough to wet his dry throat.

"Where is Grandma going now? Let me take you. Don't be afraid, Grandma. I'm not a bad person." Gendis touched the woman's arm gently.

Grandma threw a glance out the car window. It was as if he was thinking and remembering. Then he nodded his head quickly.

"Grandma remember something? What's grandma's name?" Gendis asked again.

"Call me Grandma Kristina." The old woman replied without hesitation.

"alright. Where's Kristina's grandmother going?"

"Church."

The fat nodded its head. Not far from where they are, there is a church. His Sunday worship with Eser. There was Father John and also Romo Antonius who was very familiar. Therefore, Gendis was steady to drive Grandma Kristina to the church.

"Grandmother often worship there?" Gendis asked to break the silence in the middle of the journey.

Gendis scrunched her forehead. While continuing to focus on the streets, Gendis again asked, "Why did Grandma look sure when she said she wanted to go to church?"

Grandma Kristina smiled gently. Obviously the old woman was not from an incapable family. His skin was clean despite the black spots and wrinkles clearly wrapping around the bones.

"Grandmother's already having trouble remembering, son. But Grandma never forgot one thing. Lord. Once you forget where you're going, God's house is the best place to go. There we won't get lost."

Gendis turned to look briefly at the figure of Grandma Kristina. The woman's answer really made Eser's wife amazed. It sounded simple, but to Gendis, the woman's words were so deep.

"Who understands you better than Allah? There ain't! Fellow humans must have misunderstood us. God perfects us, though he knows we have a place of lack."

Gendis is amazed. Amidst the severe problems he faced, God planned a meeting of himself with someone who was arousing his faith. There was a haru that instantly burst into his chest. Prayer, kindness and all the worship that we think is enough, in fact, is not really enough. His worries and anger were yesterday, clearly doubting the power of God.

"You're a good girl, son. May God be with you always. Thank you for driving Grandma back," said Grandma Kristina as soon as Gendis stopped her car next to the church building in question.

Gendis hurried down and opened the car door for Grandma Kristina. He led the woman to the side of the church building that was open twenty-four hours for prayer.

Arriving in a special building to pray at all times, Grandma Christina accompanied Gendis approached the large statue of Our Lady in the middle of the front wall of the building. Both of them stood on their knees, taking a prayerful stance.

Gendis closed her eyes solemnly. Praying in the house of God is very different from praying at home. His heart was completely calm.

"So many things I don't understand. Coming back in my life. I believe that nothing happens if God doesn't care. I do not struggle alone, for God is with me. O God of hearts, join my husband wherever he may be. Reunite us at the best time of your will."

The Gendis prayer was so clearly heard by the figure who now replaced Grandma Kristina beside him. Once his concentration on prayer, made Gendis unaware there was movement around him.

"Recover our lives. Let us live in peace in your love. If there is any good that we must achieve by going through a complex ordeal, lead us, raise our hearts to accept with sincerity all the twists and turns of our lives." Gendis ended her prayer by touching her hand on her forehead, left right chest by forming a sign of overtaking.

Slowly, Gendis opened both of her eyeballs. He did not look directly beside her. His head held up while taking a deep breath and exhaling it slowly. "God is good, very good. I believe that." he muttered.

"God is good, very good. God has found us in the most beautiful places. Where his love and power touch our hearts is so real. Where my mistakes, stupidity, and pride are not only judged. God opened my mind with His love, God unravels the tangled threads in our lives by His power. Good god, Mhi. He pulled me out of the darkness. He helped me to avoid the deep pit of regret."

The voice managed to make Gendis turn her head quickly. I can't believe what is in front of him. Gendis blinked her eyes many times. His outstretched hand stroked the face that managed to make him upset and long at the same time.

"Prc ...."

Eser nodded steadily. Eyes glazed. It feels like I haven't seen each other in years. In fact, it's still in a matter of days. So cruel is the distance at heart. Missing beats the time unit. Even a moment, if the heart speaks, it will still feel long.

"Don't go again, we'll face both. I don't care how heavy. Both will be easier." Gendis immediately hugged Eser possessively.

Again a pair of eyes, did not escape watching what Gendis did.
