On the first day Gendis stayed with Sevket, nothing special happened. Both Ozge and Mutia, are equally not rash to do anything excessive. Both of them tried hard to suppress their feelings. Mutia was clearly afraid of the threat of Sevket. Her husband would not hesitate to tell her to leave the house if she dared to make Gendis uncomfortable. Then the satisfied Ozge can be together and see the face of Gendis longer. The man acted as if he accepted Gendis as a brother, warm but of course occasionally stealing glances with an unusual gaze.
Only Eser was uncomfortable with his current condition. Mutia and Ozge's calmness made him worry and think hard. In silence, the two people must have been looking for an opening to attack.
Don't ask me again how tormented Eser is right now. Sevket seems to dominate Gendis time. The man did not let Ozge or Eser have a chance to be alone with Gendis. Except being in his room, Sevket was always around Gendis. Even when Gendis invites the twins Agam and Aglair to play, Sevket keeps his eye on him.
Until the second day, question marks increasingly filled the head of Gendis. Since yesterday she had come, not once did the woman meet Jia. Wanted to ask, but obviously it was none of his business.
"Pi, tomorrow it looks like Gendis and Eser are going home. We'll occupy our new home." Eser finished his morning meal by pushing the empty plate right in front of him.
Eser's speech made Sevket who was sipping a glass of water immediately choked, to make Gendis immediately react by rubbing the back of his papi. Mutia smiled triumphantly, while Ozge immediately stood up and left the dining table slightly upset.
"May papi beg once more?" Pinta Sevkets. The man's just gonna execute his second plan tomorrow night. If he arrives, Gendis goes home with Eser, failing what he has arranged well.
"What, Pi?" Eser asked as he glanced at Gendis who was still feeding food into his own mouth.
"Let's be one or two more days. Not necessarily in the near future, Gendis will stay here again. Next week, Papi will also return to Papi's country."
Gendis turned towards Eser and nodded her head slowly. But Eser replied with a strong head. Gendis was singing her lips while glaring at the ketus. Then Eser assented Sevket's will.
"Just till tomorrow, Pi. Poor Damar in the apartment alone, after all our house is ready," recalls Eser.
Mutia looked at Eser and Gendis alternately. "You should not stay in one roof, who guarantees that you will not commit sins. Pregnant woman, her desire is not great inferior to thirteen casanovas at once."
"There is no need for guarantees. We have full power over our minds. Even if we stay here, if Eser and Gendis want to, we can still do it. We still have heart and faith. We're not cats, we can have sex with our own children." Eser was deeply offended by Mutia's words. The man stood up and invited Gendis to leave the dining room. Eser holding Gendis' wrist.
The new Ozge was about to leave for the office, smiling cynically at the sight. "Am not your brother, Ndis. As a brother, I can love you too, right? It seems like the warm embrace of a very beautiful little sister will make me work more excited," he said casually.
"Look at you, Oz!" Snap Eser.
"Enough! Here there is no one more entitled than Gendis, other than Gendis himself. Including you, Ice. You and Ozge should both treat Gendis as your younger brother. Never touch let alone hug Gendis, if in your mind there are still other flavors." Sevket appeared to directly mediate the commotion that could have occurred if left unchecked. Sevket's hand releases Eser's hand from Gendis by force.
The man looked at his son one by one. The roar of his face reddened holding back his annoyance and anger. It all happened so fast. It takes time to change feelings. Now, Sevket just hope, the plan tomorrow can run smoothly. At least, if Eser and Ozge still insist with their hearts, Sevket can count on Gendis who he thinks is more talkable and willing to do something for the common good.
"Don't you have to go to work?" Sevket reminded Eser and Ozge who are still staring cynically. While Gendis stood lowered her head behind Sevket's back.
Eser approached Gendis, as usual before leaving for work, he always kissed Gendis on the forehead. This time, however, Sevket blocked his move.
"Papi said, if you can't see Gendis as a sister yet. Don't try to touch it. It's not cruel, but to get you used to it. You remember, Ndis. Don't let them come near you, if you're not sure." Sevket looked at his son one by one in turn, and the last one was fixed on Gendis.
Eser was forced to hold back, if he forced, of course Ozge would be reckless to do the same. He didn't want anyone to touch Gendis. Even if that person is Ozge.
When he was about to enter his room, Gendis was surprised by the sound of the door opening followed by the sound of a woman coughing. As soon as he turned his head towards the source of the voice, he could not hide his shock at the figure he was seeing at the moment. Jia looked very thin and pale.
"Jia," muttered Gendis. That figure called Gendis looked extremely messy. The woman seemed to have difficulty walking. Gendis hurriedly approached and helped Jia walk.
"Where are you going?" Gendis gripped Jia painstakingly.
The real Sevket only wanted to ascertain whether Gendis was already inside his room or not, a little displeased, as the child was instead helping Jia.
"Ndis, she used to be a maid. You don't have to bother helping him," said Sevket as he walked to his study on the second floor.
"Where are you going, Ji?" Gendis asked once again after seeing Sevket not there.
"I'm in my room, Ndis. Can you take me to the back garden or to the rooftop?" Jia was like she was trying to catch Gendis.
"May, but your pain is okay?"
"It's okay. I've started to be friends with my pain. In part this may have been a risk as well as the karma that I bear." Jia replied in a somewhat shrill voice.
Gendis rubs Jia's hips so that the woman is more comfortable when walking. "Are you not in a wheelchair?"
Gendis' question made Jia smile bitterly. "Don't buy a wheelchair, just buy medicine I have to ask Mami. And I'm lazy to keep asking. Lately, I've been tired of arguing."
Despite walking slowly, finally, Gendis and Jia had already reached the garden. A faint smile expanded on Jia's face. He was very happy to be able to enjoy the air of the park that he had not felt lately. It was certainly caused by Jia's condition was uncertain.
"Sorry, Ji. Did Ozge not treat you well?" Ask Gendis carefully.
A smile rang from Jia's lips, "Who am I, so that an Ozge should be kind? Marriage is just status. In reality, I just considered it garbage, parasites, and wasted nets." Jia shares the unrest of her home life with Ozge.
Gendis did not respond to Jia's remarks. He. helped Jia sit on a long wooden bench first. They are now under a mango tree that looks unfruitful but very shady.
"Thank you, Ndis. I'm sorry, because I did a lot of wrong to you. Hopefully I can fix the mistake gradually," Jia said as she looked up at Gendis who was still standing.
"I'm lazy to remember things that have passed. Let all pass without weighing our steps forward. You just focus on your recovery."
Jia looked at Gendis. The envy in his heart was still quite great, it was just that it was almost covered by helplessness. The life of Gendis was too easy in his eyes. What every woman dreams of, is all earned by Gendis. It was too perfect and unfair for him.
"If I were you, I would choose to return to my own home tonight. Don't you know that tomorrow there's gonna be a ta-." Jia did not continue his words. As he looked at the Sevket that had suddenly appeared out of nowhere, the man's eyes were like they were bullying him.
