"I'm not asking for anything. Stay with Damar where I provide. Be my secretary. Let Damar home school until he graduates. It's that simple." Eser crouched down to face Gendis.

Gendis. Take a deep breath. He didn't want to rush into a decision, but there weren't many options he had. Eser is right, at the moment there are only two possibilities. Facing Mr. Gendis who will have no end or set the future at the expense of yourself first.
