Bian couldn't help but think about what his sister-in-law said about the possibility of Amara being pregnant.
If what Eka said was true, of course it became something very encouraging for Bian. When Amara was pregnant with Biandra, Bian was not there beside the woman, and it is certain that she did not know what Amara was accustomed to during pregnancy.
After all, if Amara is indeed pregnant with their second child, however, it will be the first experience for Bian.
Bian never accompanied women who were pregnant young. He had gone through those times with Tiara. However, it's been a dozen years, Bian forgot what kind of signs and symptoms Tiara had experienced.
Besides, the situation is clearly different. He and Tiara hid the pregnancy, until the former had two miscarriages because Bian could not stand by every second beside him. Plus, Bian realized that he shouldn't have children outside of marriage just to follow his ego in order to live with Tiara.
Now that he had heard Eka's conjecture, Bian had no idea why his heart was beating. Nervousness mixed with happiness collaborated into something foreign.
He just can't imagine how to be the husband of a woman who is pregnant with his second child, and Bian doesn't know what to do if Amara is pregnant.
"Well, it's done now." Eka's voice that suddenly appeared in front of the cashier table managed to disperse Bian's daydream.
Bian lowered his head and blinked in surprise when he saw a large bowl of tomato sauce with a domineering slice of cayenne pepper.
"Crazy you, Ka," said Bian with a horrified face. "Do you want to poison the Tete with the chili?"
"So, the person he likes is like that" said Eka while frowning.
"But it's called rujak chili with sliced tomatoes" Bian said, stirring the food. He gulped with difficulty when he smelled the pungent smell of chili, then imagined how tormented his future son would be if Amara consumed such food.
Bian looked at Eka with a stiff smile as he added, "My best looking sister-in-law, the most beautiful and kind of— can you please replace her? This is the cab mostly, Ka. Kasian my son will be impressed if—"
"Ah, no, ah .. The old man was also like his taste. Biandra's all right now?" Eka waved and went behind the cashier counter, forcing her sister-in-law out of there.
"But this is outrageous, Ka—"
"Trust me, the Tet will demo if the cab is reduced," said Eka seriously. When she saw Bian grimacing in horror, she added, "Emang the Teteh is really pregnant again?"
Bian was stunned for a moment and stared at Eka. At this moment, Amara had not said anything to him. So, no wonder if now a handful of questions arise in Bian's mind, is Amara planning to give him a surprise by deliberately not telling about her pregnancy?
Given that Amara had secretly given a gift that led to a misunderstanding with Dika, Bian thinks it is likely that Amara has not planned to tell him about the pregnancy.
After all, from the first time Amara could be treated when Biandra was two months old, Bian forbade Amara to use contraception because he was not willing to delay to add baby.
Moreover, Bian's current age was already forty years old. He has no reason why he should delay adding more children if he has the opportunity.
For too long Bian has been looking forward to having a child, and one child from the woman he loves will not be enough.
Thinking of the idea of Amara's possibility of keeping her womb a secret, Bian decides to pretend and wait until the woman herself tells him.
Maybe he should act normal until the woman delivers the news.
Bian took a deep breath and tried to be normal. Without answering Eka's obvious question he himself could not answer, Bian hurriedly both while carrying the food his wife ordered.
When Bian entered the room and gave the food to Amara, he was stunned in disbelief at Amara's expression as if he had just found a treasure.
"No, no .... Thanks a lot, I don't want to poison my own stomach." Bian grimaced in horror smdan shook his head quickly, then took Biandra from beside Amara— worried that the baby would splash into the chili sauce.
Amara lifted her shoulders and ate with solemnity the food.
Seeing Amara even looks ordinary when sipping the curry, Bian only gulped with difficulty until unconscious his forehead sweat when glancing at Amara's flat stomach.
"Honey," said Bian worriedly. "Don't eat too much. Your stomach will hurt."
"Udah is immune" said Amara briefly. "Ah, the most potent headache remedy."
However, Bian was too worried that he looked agitated and continued to observe Amara.
"Darling, no one wants to talk to me?"
While chewing on the piece of tomato in her mouth, Amara looked at Bian in surprise. Bian doesn't usually ask that question.
"There's." Amara nodded and turned to Alif who was engrossed in playing his Hot Wheel. Then, he lowered his voice as he continued, "That's, the one we discussed earlier this morning about Yuanita. If the sentence is accumulated, the Yuanita can be sentenced to prison for 7 years and 6 months. The most severe is the threat of criminal punishment for the persecution case, I think he was afraid the Yuanita fit out of prison, he was even more vengeful as me."
Bian smiled stiffly. "Darling, besides, is there anyone you want to talk to anymore?"
Amara's eyebrows grew increasingly wrinkled, confused by her husband's slightly odd behavior. He was silent for a moment and looked at Bian seriously.
"Oh, there is ...," said Amara after thinking hard. "I'm kelp same you because you're more willing to eat with your friend and ex-boyfriend. Though I have worked hard to make tempura shrimp for you. It must be cold now and you don't like cold food."
Bian put on a wrong face. "My dear, My wife ... besides, there's no one else you want—"
"What are you really talking about?" urge Amara to be annoyed. "No need to be like TTS, I'm thinking too bad."
Seeing the seriousness on Amara's slightly irritated face, Bian decided to swallow back a handful of words that had gathered in his mind about Amara's pregnancy. Maybe Amara had not planned to tell him, and Bian was ready to wait for the surprise.
It's just that, somehow Bian's face turned moody looking at Amara's attitude which actually looks unhappy.
"Jaudah, later the language," said Bian who then turned to leave the room.
"Punjabi base," hissed Amara while glancing sharply and made Bian turn his head in wonder
"What?" bian asked with raised eyebrows.
"The piglet jiga round" Amara said in a soft squeaking voice.
Bian stepped closer to Amara while squinting dangerously. "Try to repeat."
Amara smiled stiffly, horrified by Bian's gaze which seemed ready to devour him round and round. "Not intentionally, I'm disappointed."
"Three rounds later malem," said Bian ferociously. "The mouth is insolent, it must be punished!"
