Bian turned sideways to face Amara and found the woman still closing her eyes. Then, he reached out and pulled his wife into a hug.
Amara squirmed her head as Bian's cold nose stuck to her cheek, followed by Bian's lingering lips kissing her forehead.
"Biandra keeps building?" whispered Bian while tightening his embrace.
"Hmm," muttered Amara as she buried her head in Bian's chest which was plane, warm and comfortable. "Your father is leaving, he is awake. Just kept waking up again and a half-five, so I'm all ready for hot water for you. You're sleeping too, Om."
A smile was re-engraved on Bian's lips as he clenched and landed a kiss on Amara's head. "You slept well, honey."
It didn't take long for Amara and Bian to enter the dream world, when they should have woken up and engaged in activities. In fact, when the warmth of Bian's embrace enveloped Amara's body, it felt like Amara needed nothing more. All worries and restlessness flew from his brain, so he found great comfort in his sleep.
Unfortunately, that comfort did not last long. He was again awakened by the cry of Biandra at eight in the morning. Amara opened her eyes when she felt something was missing in her sleep. Then realized Bian's embrace was released because the man was now struggling with a milk bottle.
"Sleep again, baby ... it's still morning" Bian said.
So, Amara went back to sleep. Letting Bian take over, as his eyes could not be compromised to stay awake.
Shortly after, he felt Bian lie back down and hug him. Perhaps the man was also equally tired, so he paid no attention to anything else, except rest with his wife and child.
Amara felt that she had not been asleep for long when she heard the sound of a cell phone screaming on the table. Without opening her eyes, she grabbed the phone, answered the call and stuck it in her ear.
"Hallo," said Amara in a hoarse voice.
"Just wake up, Ra?" ask a woman from across the line. "Where's the ball?"
"Who is this?"
"Eh, this is Teteh .. mm, Mirna. Bian's not up yet, Ra?"
Amara frowned, and inevitably forced her to open her eyes. She kept the phone away from her ears, and when she saw the name 'Mother Alif' on the screen, she realized it was her husband's phone.
"Why, Tea?" amara asked again as she glanced at Bian and realized the man was so slumbering with heavy breathing.
"Tetuh again in the hospital, take Thia to the dentist," said Mirna from across the call, accompanied by the rustling of people to put each other down. "In the meantime, Alif came home, try asking Bian to be able to pick up Alif first? At home there is no one, cafe same rental also closed first. Later back from the hospital Teteh pick Alif up to the villa."
"Yes, Tea .. ntar I told Om."
After saying that, Amara immediately hung up the phone. Then it dawned on him at this time showing ten in the morning.
Amara turned to Bian after putting the phone on the table beside the bed. At first, she suspects her husband is awake and hears what Mirna says on the phone, but when Bian does not move at all, Amara realizes that her husband is indeed asleep.
So, Amara cupped her palms on Bian's cheeks while saying in a low voice, "Om."
When Bian still did not react, for a while she observed her husband's face. A torrent of fatigue clearly emanated from the face of her husband who was already handsome, no matter even though he himself realized that the man was too mature to be his life companion.
Actually, Amara could not bear to wake Bian when she heard his breathing roar so regularly. Bian's dark eyes that always radiate shade when looking at Amara, it seems that this time is not willing to open, and Amara knows that her husband is indeed sleep deprived.
However, Amara could not ignore Mirna's message, worried that Alif would soon leave the class and not find the person who picked her up.
Instead of opening his eyes, Bian grabbed his wife by the body and buried his face in Amara's neck while muttering hoarsely, "Still sleepy, dear. Just a little more."
"But just now your sister called," said Amara, shuffling her head as Bian kissed her neck, tingling her. "Says please pick up Alif, he's again in hospital—"
"Who's sick?" Bian spontaneously raised his head with his eyes open at once. "Mirna's sick?"
"No, your sister took her brother Alif to the dentist" Amara explained. "So he said you would take Alif to school first, then come home from the hospital, your brother picked Alif up here."
While exhaling a sigh of relief, Bian again sank the face on Amara's neck and hugged her tightly while whispering, "Yes, ntar picked up—"
"But Alif's coming out again."
"What time is it?" Bian's voice sounded lazy, as if he was still lingering beside his wife.
"Through ten o'clock, first graders in the morning will usually—"
"Why didn't you know that?" bian's grunt was immediately aghast with reddened eyes, clearly trying hard against the drowsiness that was still struggling.
Amara chuckled at Bian's unusually surprised expression. "You said that ntar was still sleepy."
"Emang is still sleepy." Bian sat down while rubbing his face, trying to gather his consciousness completely. "You don't wake up, you'll pick up Alif, we'll go back to sleep, okay?"
"Where is it?" amara protested with a small laugh. "It's time to wake up, ashamed of the sun. Biandra Parts it's time to shower, change diapers—"
"Udah was replaced earlier when drinking milk," muttered Bian as he turned to Biandra.
"What time was it?" Amara inched up and sat down while pulling Biandra closer.
Bian's thick eyebrows intertwined before finally muttering back, "Eight hours looks like."
"Ah, be a moment and Biandra woke up. Time to drink some more milk." Amara grabbed the hairpin on the nightstand, scooped up her disheveled hair and smacked the originals.
When Amara leaned in to grab Biandra, Bian suddenly said, "You sleep pules, Ra? A little bit of it."
"So taking medicine from the doctor" said Amara cheerfully. "So I can sleep well."
"Aren't you comfortable because I hugged you?" Bian gave a smile, teasing Amara.
"Where it is, people obviously I pules because of the sleeping pills from the doctor," muttered Amara while peeking open the Biandra bed.
"Oh, if so, then later I'll do Biandra aja—"
The plot and pillows that Amara aired managed to make Bian's speech cut off, followed by a grunt Amara who sounded annoyed, "Only once doang sleep the dough is already bosen, until you don't want to hug me again? Is that?"
Bian chuckled. "Eat him, I'm saying that you can sleep well because of my embrace, not because of drugs."
"Pede is a very people!" Amara snorted while rolling her eyeballs lazily. "Udah, you sneak off to pick Alif up, tell him that if he leaves class there's no one."
