Chapter 22 - { I Just Believe You }

Selena, who was sitting in a chair inside the library, was disturbed by the noise from outside.

With a little commotion her best friend made, Cristine entered the school library for the first time during her schooling at Cempaka Junior High School.

Her dissatisfied roar and slightly disdainful eyes made Selena groan in annoyance.

If Cristine with such a face, it is a sign that what follows is only bad things.

"Hello embe." Cristine sat down beside Selena with her hands embracing her shoulders.

"Hm." Selena answered flatly and she refocused on the book she read.

Again the book always stole Selena's attention. Cristine who does not like to be ignored began to act. He snatched the book on the table and threw it under his feet.

"Cristine... " Selena's screaming voice got a reprimand from the library guards coldly.

Cristine laughed while holding her voice.

"Don't throw it away. Bring back the book. Hurry up, otherwise I'll be mad." Threaten Selena with a loud voice so that Cristine is scared.

Cristine took the book, but did not hand it to Selena.

Instead he stood up from the chair, moved towards the nearest bookshelf and placed the book there.

Selena was stunned because of Cristine's behavior this time.

"Get me to the UKS."

Selena who had wanted to go back to scolding, did not. His face was a little worried as he twisted his body and stood in front of Cristine.

"Are you sick. Hurry and tell me. No. gabe... No. gabe. We better hurry to the UKS." Selena without asking much more dragged with a little force Cristine.

Cristine, whose hand was dragged, smirked, looking satisfied with the panic Selena showed.

They were already at the door of the UKS room, and accidentally saw Andre with his friends sitting on the stairs.

Cristine who saw Andre immediately stood in front of Selena.

"What's up." Selena asked with a confused look.

Cristine stood right in front of Selena, casting her eyes out.

"Come to class, I'm not sick anymore."

Selena knitted her brows suspiciously.

"You tricked me Ris."

Cristine shook her head then nodded, puzzled over being caught lying.

"I told you not to trick me like this. If you really get sick how." Selena was angry. Cristine had deceived him many times, he probably would not have been angry like this, if only his best friend had not messed with his health, he was very anxious to know.

Knowing that Cristine was joking by pretending to be sick, Selena was furious, wanting to curse her best friend.

"I'm just bored, bothering you is so much fun." Cristine said so Selena stopped scolding him.

Cristine smiled and said very gently, persuading. "Don't go to the UKS, I don't get sick hm."

Selena is still angry.

"Come on..."

Selena took off Cristine's hand, she turned around wanting to leave, but Andre's voice calling made her stop.

Obstructed by Cristine's slender body, Selena does not realize that Andre is sitting on the stairs, looking at her.

After seeing Selena did not make the call, Andre stood up, he took a little step to reach Selena's hand, slightly pushing Cristine to the side.

Cristine was angry about it.

"What are you doing." Selena said she didn't like it. He tried to let go of his hand that Andre had grabbed.

Andre pulled Selena and entered the OSIS room that had just opened, the schoolgirl who had just come out of the OSIS room and wanted to lock her could only peck, then when the sound of the door was closed she regained consciousness.

"Open up! Andre... What are you doing. Open the!.... Fuck." Cristine's swearing voice and the kick in the door made the students who walked past her look at Cristine's behavior in wonder.

Inside the OSIS room there was only Andre and Selena, when Andre took off the check on his hand he almost fell.

"What the... Why lock everything down." Selena glared angrily at Andre who was turning her back.

After confirming that the door was already in the lock, Andre looked at Selena silently.

Selena was a little scared because of her gaze, she took a step back and said nervously. "Ka... If there's anything you need to talk about, there's no need to lock it. Don't look at me like that."

His expression was extremely cold and his eyes were sharp looking at Selena, Andre came forward and squeezed Selena in front of the table. He didn't speak at all, which made Selena uncomfortable, so close that she had to push Andre's chest to give them some distance. Too close !

Andre was suppressing his simmering anger, he had been holding it back since last night.

She goes to Selena's class to see her, but Selena hasn't come to school yet. Then at break time she also went to her class, but Selena had already gone out.

Just then when he was with Indra sitting on the stairs, from the end of the hall saw Selena and Cristine.

Looking at the person he was looking for this morning, Andre started to recall his anger again.

Last night she drove Selena home, she didn't go straight home and waited for Selena to come inside. But since Selena was also waiting for him to leave, Andre could only walk towards the dim garden waiting for a few minutes then return to Selena's place.

Unexpectedly by the time he returned to Selena's house, Andre saw Lucas who was from where he stood, they were like hugging.

He was so angry that it felt like he wanted to lung ahead and hit Lucas who was close to Selena.

Andre continued to stand at the end of the road and looked towards Selena and Lucas whom he had no idea what they were talking about.

Seeing Lucas hugging Selena a second time and Selena also returning the hug, he left there angry and jealous.

"Lucas met you."

Selena was surprised, she did not expect Andre would know. Last night he did not come home, instead he saw Andre had crossed the road and went towards his house. How did he know Lucas was coming. Except...

"You're there." she muttered softly, Selena never once looked at Andre, she turned her face and looked at the white floor of the OSIS room. He was too nervous and embarrassed, as Andre did not budge on the spot even though he pushed him.

Andre clamped Selena's chin to look at her. Her gleaming eyes were furious and sharp, making Selena tremble slightly. "What are you two talking about?!"

"Why should you know. Andre, I have no obligation to tell you, we're not that close."

"Stop meddling in my business!" Selena brushed off Andre's hand that clamped her chin roughly.

He looked up and said firmly to Andre. "For as long as I'm not stupid and I don't know what you've been doing behind my back, I'm just pretending to close my eyes to all your actions that interfere with my affairs."

Selena took a breath and continued with all her complaints. "Alvin, Dino, and all the other men, from the beginning it was you who pushed them away. Although I honestly don't like any of them, but you don't have the right to do any of that for me."

Selena continued to look into Andre's eyes, not dodging at all, even though Andre's face turned very bad and was ready to explode right then and there. "This time I won't shut up. If you keep going like this, don't blame me for hating you."

Selena frowned in pain as her hands were gripped strongly.

"I'm entitled, I'm entitled to Selena! It's good you know what I've done for you. Selena, you think I'll just shut up to see them come near you. Nah! Even if you threaten to hate me, I won't let anyone else get close to you."

Andre stared fixedly at Selena's grimacing face, her voice containing a warning and hatred as she continued her words, ".... Even if it's Lucas."

Even so Selena did not waver at all, she looked back at the angry eyes of Andre with her chin raised stubbornly, as if she would not hesitate if faced with a choice, he said, who is the person he really likes.

"I like Lucas" Selena said honestly.

When Andre heard this, his face tightened and his thin lips trembled. The feeling of his claustrophobic chest became faint due to the anger that was rising and his head turning hot unwilling to think.

"This is all I like.... What .... You." Selena hadn't finished saying it, Andre cupped both of her cheeks and almost had her forcibly kissed. If it wasn't for Selena acting fast by kicking Andre, maybe Andre would have done it.
