The Selena Tsabina Series
Chapter 14 { I Just Believe You }

~ Happy Reading ~

Exam paper is finished distributed. And the supervising teacher back and forth controls the students from cheating.

Selena is currently taking her semester exams. It was his first day at school after a week ago he was injured.

The bandage in his hand was already removed. A purplish red color transverse above both hands. Although the pain is not severe, Selena still difficult to move.

The hand trembled as Selena grasped the pen. He had tried his best, but he could not write, so he finally gave up on answering the last question.

There was a 50-point double option that he had to cross, it was not difficult for Selena to move her pen. But he had problems with the question and answer below.

There are 20 questions and answers. It was a matter of where he had to write down the many theories and formulas that produced the answers to the questions on the paper.

He can answer but he cannot write. Selena gave up, her hands were already starting to hurt.

Selena knows that this time she won't make the top five in her class. As he thought about his value going down, he let out a frustrated sigh.

Time goes by very fast. School holidays after the semester exams are over.

The school gives its students a week of rest at home. After that the school started as usual, only now it was more relaxed.

Another half month is the day of ascension.

Cristine, who had just come from the cooperative, brought milk, bread and other snacks, she breezed into Selena's class.

He sat down in front of Selena who was laying her head on the table.

Cristine tapped softly on Selena's head.

"Quick eating. I brought you a lot of snacks."

Selena wakes up, she grabs the chocolate-flavored box milk and drinks it, she finishes the bread and milk.

"You're in class." Cristine asked.

"Just join the group choir. The teacher pointed me to an art party, but I refused."

Graduation is in a minute. Each class must present at least one spectacle for selection.

In class only a few people are selected. And he was one of the students who participated.

"What about you?"

Cristine sighed in frustration, she looked unhappy.

Selena started to guess. "Are you told to dance."

Dancing and exercise were activities Cristine hated most in addition to math lessons.

"You know me very well. Come here, let me give you a friendly kiss." Cristine moved forward with her lips. Selena pushed Cristine's forehead in disdain.

"Stop... You're disgusting."

"I feel like you sound like someone." Cristine whining.

"So why don't you refuse."

"Teacher will cut my grades when I refuse not to go. Anyway, this time I'll take it."

"Have good practice then." Selena pats her best friend's shoulder for pity.

"Have your hands and feet healed." Not waiting for Selena to answer, Cristine grabbed Selena's hand and looked at her hand.

"It doesn't hurt anymore. Don't worry."

"What's tonight you're actually going home. Stay longer."

Since then, Selena has been living in Cristine's house. His father told him this morning that his mother told Selena to go home.

During her stay at Cristine's house, Lyana never once visited Selena. Although she felt sad in her heart, the feeling of relief that Lyana was not with him when she was sick, made her a little happy.

Selena was only worried that her mother would feel remorse and feel very guilty.

"Hm. You can come to my house at any time."

Cristine sighed loudly, she nodded. "Sometimes I'll stay at your place."

"All right."

*****

Selena stood by her father. Rehan carries a bag containing Selena's clothes during her stay at Cristine's house.

"I trouble neng again. I can't give you anything. Thank you very much." Rehan bowed many times to Warda.

"Don't be like this. Selena I've considered my daughter as well, as a mother I have a responsibility to take care of Selena. There should be no feeling between us." Warda grabbed Rehan's shoulder sincerely.

Selena was held tightly by Cristine. Just laughing like a kid. He felt grateful to have known the Cristine family in his life.

"I have to go home Ris." Selena was a little persuasive. Cristine let go of the hug reluctantly.

"I'm going home." Rehan grabs Selena's hand and they walk back home.

"Let's go in. Your mother is waiting."

Lyana was busy preparing food in the kitchen. When he heard the door open. He stepped out.

It's been almost half a month that Lyana hasn't seen Selena. She missed the princess, but she couldn't say it.

About what he had done back then, he did not feel regret at all.

Seeing Selena showing a frightened look towards him, that was what she expected.

Lyana touched Selena's head, stroked the hair gently and she sat Selena down at the dinner table.

*****

The Final Semester exam is over. Selena had already moved up the class with quite a satisfactory grade, although her ranking in the class had dropped to 6th place.

Today is the 9th grade graduation day. School is busy due to graduation party.

On the stage, the Headmaster was delivering a speech.

And then some of the names of the students were summoned to the stage as representatives of the 9th grade to deliver a graduation speech.

The most anticipated is Lucas. As a student with the best grades in class and province. He gets a chance to give a speech to motivate the juniors to follow in his footsteps which makes the School name fragrant.

Selena was in the audience with Cristine. His eyes were full of pride at that person standing on the stage handsomely.

The cold Lucas, smiled slightly as he said that the charter he had obtained belonged to someone who meant a lot to him.

He offered all that glory to the man and as he said that warm, sharp eyes stared straight at Selena.

Everyone who hears Lucas' unusual heartfelt expression will know that Lucas already has someone he cares for.

The graduation ceremony finished smoothly and the photo session began. Many students gather with their parents or friends to take pictures together.

When it came to Lucas, he refused coldly as usual.

Daniel who had finished taking pictures with his parents and friends also approached Lucas who incidentally was a close friend and also his cousin.

Lucas just dragged Daniel to come with him. The two handsome and tall men went around looking for someone Daniel wanted to turn him down because he was unwilling to waste precious time just to look at Selena.

Which of course Lucas ignored every whimper of Daniel along the way.

Selena had already stepped out of the audience seat and she was currently with Cristine at the school garden.

They sat near a shady tree. The two looked well-rounded and occasionally a faint laugh could be heard.

"I'm looking for you."

Selena and Cristine turned to the voice that suddenly disturbed them. Lucas and Daniel stand there with Daniel holding a camera around his neck.

Selena stood up with a sweet looking smile, she reached out and congratulated. "Congratulations on Senior Lucas' graduation."

Lucas grabbed that hand and did not let go.

The finished Cristine congratulated Daniel and wanted to greet Lucas, stunned by his second hand.

Selena felt bad, so she quickly let go of Lucas' hand. Lucas disappointed.

"Congratulations on Senior Daniel's graduation."

Daniel's higher stature than Lucas makes him soar between the two girls.

Daniel had heard a lot about this girl in front of him from Lucas.

When he finally sees the girl himself, Daniel can't help but agree about Lucas' portrayal of Selena, who's been snaring her cold-hearted best friend.

This was their first meeting. When Daniel thinks he's gonna see a weak girl who only relies on beauty to ensnare Lucas. He was wrong on his guess.

Compared to Cristine who is much more beautiful, you could say Selena will be the number so to glance at, if the two friends are side by side like now.

But when Daniel gets closer to Selena and starts talking to her.

You will be surprised to find out how special the girl is. Selena's mind is very open and she is informative.

Selena is a humble smart girl who does not want to highlight the advantages she has, it is Daniel's good impression on Selena.

He knows what he is talking about and he is very attentive to his interlocutors. And Daniel appreciates a friend with such a nature.

Daniel had a little chat with Selena. As they brainstorm, the two find common ground in their love of books.

"Have you guys finished talking?!" Lucas sounded jealous. Daniel backed off and immediately moved away from Selena.

"Please take a picture of us both niel." Lucas grabbed Selena's shoulder closer towards him.

"Smile Selena. This is my graduation day. I want my graduation present now." Lucas is a little pushy as Selena struggles and pushes him away.

And without them planning, under the shady bringin tree. Lucas, Selena, Cristine and Daniel take pictures together.

The four young men seemed to be compatible with each other. And they were filled with pure smiles that were extremely beautiful.
