Chapter 15 { Special Lucas }

In a luxurious villa in the middle of urban. A beautiful woman is in a wheelchair. The face was very soft and the skin was smooth without any blemishes. Empty-looking eyes stared far away at the desolate streets.

Her name is Renata Samantha, she is Lucas's real mother. Since 5 years ago, due to an accident that hit him, Renata was diagnosed by a doctor with permanent disability in his legs and blind.

Being a career woman at a young age and faced with the heartbreaking reality of her life, 33-year-old Renata became depressed.

Lucas loved his mother. As the firstborn, Renata was his most treasured family.

Inside the two-story luxury Villa Lucas lives with his mother, butlers and nurses who take care of the mother also live in the house.

Lucas is not an orphan. His father is still alive and is currently in his prime. Arnold Bernad belonged to a descendant of a noble family, whose identity he did not know.

But for some reason, his father was left off the Bernard family list and lived in Indonesia after his marriage to Renata.

Arnold is a father figure that Lucas was very proud of when he was a child. Now that he had slightly understood the situation of his family, no longer the pride he felt in the man, all that remained was hatred to the bone.

Lucas hated Arnold. He hated the man for betraying himself and his mother.

When Arnold learns of his wife's disability, he begins to unlock all the secrets he has.

Lucas was a kid at the time. When her mother was just coming home from the hospital, a young woman came to her house.

The woman sat on her mother's favorite sofa in a sassy manner. His father appeared from behind and hugged the woman without the slightest embarrassment, although Arnold knew Lucas saw him he did not shy away at all.

It was precisely Arnold introduced casually without the slightest thought of his feelings.

The woman is Arnold's young wife, they have been married for 3 years. Which means ever since his mother was still in fine shape, Arnold has been a traitor.

Not long after Lucas learned of his father's rot. He chooses to leave the house and takes Renata with him. Mother's grandmother came to him and gave him the house he now lives in.

Renata is also a wealthy family. The family is engaged in hospitality and shopping centers whose subsidiaries are mushrooming all the way to Surabaya.

As the only grandson of the Samantha family, Lucas is the future heir to hold all control over the family business.

From the beginning Lucas had warned and strongly opposed the decision of Father or grandmother who wanted to interfere in his affairs.

He doesn't want anyone to know himself. Only a handful of people nearby knew who Lucas really was, and Principal Cempaka; hermawan was one of the people who knew his identity.

"Mama, Lucas's coming home" Lucas said, heading to the place where his mother used to be.

Hearing her son's voice, Renata smiled. He fumbles through the air in front, and Lucas grabs Renata's warm hand until it touches his face.

"When are you coming home? Why didn't you hear the sound of that step."

"Lucas deliberately tiptoed so that Mama did not know that Lucas had come home." Lucas kissed Renata's hand which gently rubbed her hair.

Renata laughed a little.

"Please. Mama heard from your Uncle that you graduated with the best grades. Don't you want to tell that interesting thing to Mama."

"Uncle is exaggerating."

"This child..." Renata chuckles funny. His son is always narcissistic and not used to tell anything about his personal life. So Renata doesn't question Lucas anymore and just chooses silence. After all, if Lucas wanted to tell a story, the person Lucas would be looking for would be him.

"Ma..." Call gently. His head he put on Renata's lap.

"There's someone I like at school."

Renata was a little surprised. As far as he knows about Lucas, he's very cold when it comes to women. Other than her as Mother and grandmother, other women who wanted to get close to Lucas would hate him.

It was a manifestation of Lucas's disillusioned feelings that had been hurt since he was a child by his father. So Renata can't do anything about it.

And now when Lucas tells him he likes a girl. He became overwhelmed to hear it.

Renata can't wait to meet the girl. The girl must be special to melt her child's cold heart.

"How's he?"

As Lucas recounted Selena's figure, his eyes involuntarily turned soft. The sharp and cold gaze disappeared completely.

"She's a good girl, and she's smart, maybe you'll fit in when Mama meets Selena."

"really."

"Hm. Selena loves books so much, she can read for so long and can't be bothered, even Lucas who sometimes accompanies her is often ignored." Only on Renata, Lucas will act childishly. He complained like a child.

"Is she a pretty girl?"

"Selena is the prettiest girl Lucas has ever met. After my mom, of course. You two are very meaningful women to Lucas."

Lucas quickly interrupted Renata's words as if he was suing him. Her mother is sometimes jealous if she feels neglected.

"Celena. What a beautiful name."

"So when are you going to take her home. Don't you want to introduce her to Mama."

"Of course, but not now. Ma, can Mama convince grandma not to send Lucas to England. Lucas won't be separated from Mama."

The conversation about Lucas who will continue his High School education to the UK has long been renaissance.

Before Lucas meets Selena. He doesn't mind at all. But now he couldn't go and be away from the girl.

If her grandmother knew she was canceling her study because of a woman, she could be sure she was vomiting blood on the spot.

"Mama try to. Mama can't promise you anything, Lucas, the decision is still in your grandmother's hands."

"I knew. I love Mama. Lucas promised not to disappoint Mama."

"Mama should stay healthy hmm."

Renata is silent.

Lucas, for that Mama can't promise. As far as Mama can last this long, it's because of your affection and responsibility to you. But Mama is feeling very difficult now.
