The Selena Tsabina Series
Chapter 16 ({ Special Lucas part 2 }

~ Happy Reading ~

Lucas came to his grandmother's house in Surabaya alone.

When she reached the grandmother's house, she found her father sitting on the sofa in the living room.

Arnold looked masculine and mature, with sharp-looking facial lines and blue eyes looking towards him with indifferent looks.

Lucas just frowned in dissatisfaction, and ignored Arnold's presence as he passed by.

"After a long time of not seeing each other, you've got the courage to act insolently to your Papa Lucas."

Lucas stopped in the middle of the stairs, he did not turn around and replied equally coldly. "Sir, you're wrong. All I remember is that my Papa was long dead." and Lucas again walked up the stairs, going to his room upstairs.

For Lucas, the father he knew was long dead.

"The child does not know it is lucky. How dare you say your own father is dead!" Arnold shouted furiously, his voice booming in that empty and spacious mansion.

Lucas slammed the door of his room with a loud thump. He dropped his body on a soft bed.

His eyes closed, his chest pounding with rage.

How could that man be here? At his mother's house. Lucas thought Arnold would never come back to this house after his big fight at their old house.

What's he here for?

Lucas' door was knocked from the outside. And the voice of a servant was heard later. "Young master, Madam told you to come to her room right now."

Lucas soon wakes up, knowing that Arnold is home, plans to stay at this house for the next few days, not so he does.

How Lucas could put up with the man he was close to.

Lucas grabs the door, opens it, he walks around the hallway to the right of his room. Antique paintings adorned the entire wall as he walked to where the grandmother was.

The shiny marble floor reflected Lucas' cold-looking face. His expression was emotionless, and the moment he reached the large room in front of him, he softened his face slightly, easing his anger.

A female nurse who was no stranger opened her door.

"The big lady is already waiting for the young master. Let me take you." The woman bends over to Lucas and takes Lucas to Samantha's place.

Samantha's grandmother was sitting in an open space with a cup in her old hand.

"Grandma." call Lucas and hug Samantha's grandmother from behind. Not to miss the kiss he gave to Samantha's grandmother who was replied to a hard pinch on her nose.

"Sit down Lucas."

Samantha is 61 years old. The woman looked graceful despite the wrinkles drowning her beauty.

With golden glasses in both eyes, Samantha looked straight at her grandson sitting in front of her.

It's been almost half a year that Lucas hasn't come to see Samantha. They've only been asking each other over the phone all this time.

Lucas only believes that he is busy at school and Samantha is made to believe what Lucas is saying.

In fact, without Lucas lying like that to Samantha. If he wants, he can get his men to follow Lucas.

But because his grandson had once rampaged and to silence Samantha first, he gave up spying on Lucas' activities again.

As of now, Lucas wears a contact lens to cover the original color of his blue eyes, just like Arnold.

"Grandma's been warning you, Lucas, if you keep wearing that damn thing, your eyes will be broken."

Lucas hid his blue eyes with natural brown contact lenses.

Although he often found his eyes hurting all of a sudden, Lucas ignored them.

He hated the eyes that were so similar to that man. Because he will be reminded, that in his body flows the same blood as an ********* that Lucas once called Papa.

And Lucas doesn't want that.

"Doctor Bryan's been dealing with my health issues all along, Grandma. Grandma don't have to worry, I can take care of myself."

"I came this time to tell Grandma the decision Lucas made. I still want to continue school here."

Renata did not succeed in persuading his mother. So Lucas came this time to discuss that.

"We talked about this, Lucas. Grandma doesn't want to hear what you're trying to say."

"Even if Grandma manages to drag Lucas away to England, believe it or not, I'll ruin my own life up there" Lucas said.

"You.... How can you say that to your grandmother." Samantha said in an annoyed tone. He sipped the cold tea to wet his dry throat.

Arguing with Lucas never got him to win. That never changed until Lucas was as big as he is now.

"Then I can't force you anymore. Do whatever you think is good."

Lucas smiled at the decision. If Lucas knew it was so easy to persuade his grandmother, he wouldn't have to bother telling her.

"Arnold is here. Have you met him?" Samantha glanced, she scanned Lucas's face and was not surprised to see the hateful lightning in his eyes.

"I don't want to hear that man's name anymore. Lucas will go then."

Samantha surprised.

"You're not staying over?"

"I'll just stay in the apartment tonight. Lucas' day after tomorrow will return to Jember."

"Why so rushed. Grandma still misses you. It's been a long time that Grandmother's granddaughter hasn't accompanied this lonely old woman."

Lucas chuckled at Samantha's complaint with a grumbling face.

"There's Daniel here, how could Grandma say that. If Daniel heard what his grandmother had just said, he would whine sadly and blame Lucas later. Do you want to see your two good-looking grandchildren fight like that."

When Lucas saw the guilty look on Samantha's face. She softened her voice by slightly persuading her grandmother who looked a little sad.

"alright.... Okay, Lucas was just kidding."
