Lucas had just finished a shower, when his phone vibrated and a new message came in.

I'm not sure if that's the girl you like or not?

A second message came from Daniel. An MMS and when Lucas opened it was a photo of a girl familiar to him kneeling under a tree with his head lowered.

Lucas' thick eyebrows curled full of question marks and his charming lips pursed slightly.

He was filled with depressed feelings that Lucas could not explain.

The towel Lucas was holding to dry his still wet hair, then thrown on the bed.

Lucas wanted to go to sleep and at the same time received the message from his cousin.

With dark blue pajamas wrapped around his teenage body, and half wet hair, Lucas looked soft and very handsome.

His eyes were a little misty due to the warm water, and his azure blue pupils seemed to sparkle clear.

The cold, haughty and overbearing roar he used to put on, completely disappeared. There was only tenderness and a hint of longing on his delicate looking face, as those Azure eyes stared fixedly at the image of someone on his phone.

The girl who broke her hand at their first meeting.

Normally Lucas wouldn't have any impression of the girl he met, because of how disgusted they were at attracting his attention, but Selena was different.

It was as if there was an invisible thread between the two, which made Lucas always want to pay attention to Selena, and want to know what the girl was doing in her daily life.

Lucas took off his pajamas, and pulled the shirt and pants in the closet and replaced them with it.

Do not forget the dark colored hoodie as an exterior.

The night was very cold in the countryside, if he was reckless to go out at night with just a short t-shirt, it could be ascertained he would have a cold the next day.

"Where are you?" Lucas asked with a black phone stuck to his ear.

"This evening. If Uncle finds out you haven't come home yet, he won't hit you." Lucas scolded the person on the phone a little, and the sound of a spoiled grunt made Lucas almost want to throw his phone away right away.

"Wear that disgusting voice again, I'll slap your mouth Niel!" Lucas growled and turned off the connection with the goosebumps on his neck due to Daniel's contrived voice.

Fucking Daniel!

Lucas went down the stairs and grabbed the key to the motor hanging behind the door.

After an hour or so on the way, Lucas arrived at the modest housing complex Daniel had told him on the phone.

Seeing Lucas arrive, Daniel exits one of the houses and waves his hand towards Lucas. "Here."

Daniel slightly sneered at Lucas' impatient behavior.

"One block from here. You see that bend." Daniel pointed at the dim corner to the right they stood.

A T-junction with a log cabin in the middle. There were three middle-aged men sitting there.

"From that fork you turn right, straight, about 4 houses from there is the girl's house. Whitewashed house with mango tree in front of it, I saw the girl there."

"When that?" ask Lucas again.

Lucas meant when Daniel saw Selena.

"Three hours ago. I had just come home playing futsal on the field near the school with Delon, I passed by his house and saw the girl kneeling there. He looked very pitiful, when he saw how his body trembled a little, maybe the girl was already outside from earlier. I'm not sure either."

Lucas waited for Daniel to finish his words, until he felt Daniel had nothing more to say, Lucas left his bike in front of Daniel's friend's house and walked in the direction Daniel had pointed just now.

Daniel followed Lucas behind him. And Lucas let Daniel along.

They say nothing along the way to Selena's house, as if Daniel knows that Lucas is not being asked to exchange words, Daniel chooses silence and does not want to make Lucas nag him again.

Selena, who was getting hungry, touched her thin stomach and stroked it.

From the afternoon she was sentenced to kneel by her mother because Selena was accused of stealing the Lyana money that her mother had collected to bring her grandmother to the health center.
