The Seed of the Ex!

The Seed of the Ex!
Chapter 39 - Birthday gift

Trisya smiled softly, "i believe, let's continue your work." Trisya answered so that Edwin would no longer talk that no-no, and ended the conversation that he thought was very embarrassing.

In the afternoon, when the office hours arrived, Trisya was preparing to go home, even with the others.

"Trisya, let's go home together," the exclamation made Trisya turn his head, the others just turned their faces away, even with Edwin, although she dislikes Bryant, she can't do anything about it, because other than her ex-husband Trisya, Bryant is also the boss.

"No papa sir, I can go home alone" Trisya replied, as well as a subtle refusal.

"Why go home alone, we live in the same apartment building. Trisya, do you want to reject me in front of the crowd, you know this is very embarrassing" Bryant half-whispered.

Trisya snorted softly, "if you know this is embarrassing, why do you always do that, when clearly you know I will definitely reject your invitation." Trissy complained annoyed.

"All right, but don't you remember Zalia's birthday today?" Instantly Trisya was stunned, she searched within her memories of today. And sure enough, today was Zalia's birthday, how could she forget about it.

"How did you know it was Zalia's birthday today?"

"We'd better talk on the street, come on!" invited, Bryant pulled Trisya's hand to follow him, he ignored everyone's gaze that led to him, as if he had forgotten that there were still many other people still living in that place.

"Did you see that?" Liana said, she, Dion and Edwin stared at Trisya and Bryant's departure with a flat look, "do you think you still have any hope of being with Trisya? Even compared to that guy you still lost far, how could Trisya choose you when there's a perfect person who loves him so much, you better come to your senses before it's too late." Liana said, even though Dion continued to elbow her arms giving her a signal to not speak too loudly to Edwin, the woman ignored him at all, she still finished her words.

"I know, I'm pretty aware of who I am. But, at least he knew that I liked him, although maybe my expectations were only one percent," he said, Edwin sighed softly, then got up.

"If she is what Trisya wants, I will wish her happiness with all my heart. Huach... My body is very tired, I want to take a few days off and go on vacation" he said as it passed.

Dion got up, "I didn't expect you to have that kind of heart, buddy, I'm proud of you!" dion patted Edwin's shoulder.

Edwin threw Dion's hand with a look of annoyance, "don't say such ludicrous things, asshole!" he said as it passed.

"Fucking woy! I sympathize with you, you son of a bitch." Dion cursed Edwin's back which slowly drifted away.

"It's Honey, you know she's like that, so just ignore it. After all, she's still angry about us being together without her knowledge" Liana said, calming Dion's anger.

***

"How difficult it is to find out my daughter's date of birth, come on Trisya than to think about unnecessary things, we better think about what kind of gift Zalia wants."

Trisya fell silent, considering Bryant's proposal, "well you're right, what Zalia wants, I've given it all this time" Trisya murmured, her brain thinking hard.

"Really, are you sure you gave everything to Zalia?" Bryant's words made Trisya doubtful, but also curious according to his heart he had fulfilled every desire of his daughter without exception.

"I'm pretty sure, I've granted every request he's told me" Trisya reassured herself.

"What is the love of the family you have also given?" Trisya turned her head for a moment with her mouth tightly clenched.

"That's something different, you can't categorize it by request," Trisya said.

"Alright, but today I want to take you to Grandpa, do you want to?" Trisya looked back with a widened look.

"Grandpa's here?"

"Yes he's here, I'm also surprised that Grandpa suddenly came without telling me first."

"Did he know about Zalia?"

"Yes, he knows, maybe that's why he's coming too." Bryant said his eyes were still focused on the streets.

"Then, did Papah come too?"

Bryant shook his head softly, "you know his condition, after you left he didn't want to see me anymore, every time I came to the house he always told the waiter to kick me out."

"So yeah, you're very lucky to have a family as good as them," Trisya smiled wryly in light of her tragic fate.

"They are also your family, once or now, Trisya, so don't consider yourself alone. We're always with you." Bryant clasped Trisya's hand, unexpectedly the woman did not refuse at all, making Bryant quite happy and letting their hands interlock.
