The Seed of the Ex!
Chapter 33 - The Right of a Father

Bryant chuckled softly, causing Trisya to turn his head toward him, "why laugh?"

"No papa, just feeling good. Thanks, for dinner, I'll go home first." Bryant got up and walked towards the door, his hand about to turn the doorknob, but Trisya's exclamation stopped his intention for a moment.

"Tomorrow to come again at breakfast." Trisya melengos after saying that.

"All right, good night." Bryant has passed.

Trisya turned her head back to the door, staring at the shadow of Bryant who had disappeared in the door. Trisya sighed softly, she threw herself at the soup with her head turned to look at the ceiling of the room, while massaging her dizzy forehead.

'What's really wrong with me? Why do I keep watching him? Do I still have feelings for her?'

"No, that's not possible. It must be just because he saved Zalia, it must be because of that, for sure." Trisya muttered, she brushed off the strange thoughts that had arisen in her head.

...----------------...

The next morning, when Zalia woke up, breakfast was already available on the table.

"Bag darling!" greet Trisya, he is still finishing the rest of the cooking he made on the frying pan.

"Mom's morning too, Mommy cooks a lot more?" Zalia looked at the table that looked full.

"Yes, Om Bryant is still sick, so Mommy should take responsibility, the reason she got sick for saving Mommy's beautiful little daughter." Trisya rubbed Zalia's cheek as she passed by, she placed the last bowl of food she made, then removed the apron and hung it on the kitchen wall.

"Mommy will call Om Bryant first." Trisya passed out to the door of Bryant's house, which was right next to his door.

Trisya's hand stopped in mid-air as she was about to knock on Bryant's door, as the man had already walked out, "morning!" he said with a full smile on his face.

"Morning," Trisya replied flatly, "i cooked a lot, enough for you too," Trisya said, puzzled by what she said she would take Bryant to breakfast together.

"Can I?" bryant asked doubtfully.

"Yes, didn't I say yesterday that as long as your wounds haven't healed, I'll take care of your food." He said as he entered back into his house, leaving Bryant who was still standing in the doorway.

"For Om!" zalia's greeting was accompanied by a sweet smile. Bryant gently rubbed Zalia's head, then sat down beside her.

"Did Zalia sleep well?"

"Hem, I had a good dream last night." His words were cheerful with a nod of the head.

"True, tell Om, Om curiously," Bryant waited impatiently.

Zalia thought for a moment, "can't Om, it's a secret."

"Well, very dear, even though Om was curious," he lamented, Bryant began to feed food into his mouth, while Trisya, he chose to be quiet and not join in with Bryant and Zalia's conversation.

After breakfast, Bryant sat down at a soup and accompanied Zalia to a cartoon, "do you want to work?" bryant asked as he saw Trisya coming out of the room in neat clothes.

"Hem, I have to work. I'm not a big boss like you who can take as long off as you want" Trisya said, fixing the open button on his shirt's arm.

"As you said, I'm the boss, I'm giving you time off during my time off, so no problem?"

Trisya threw a strange look, "can't, I have to keep working, even though I've agreed to take care of your food as long as you're sick, I myself need to eat."

"I'll still pay you a salary even if you don't work, how?"

"I'm sorry, I can't eat blind, I'll take my own sweat," Trisya insisted, "oh yeah, I want to take Zalia, are you-?" yet Trisya had not finished his words, Bryant immediately cut it.

"I can, go to work quietly, don't worry about Zalia, I'll take good care of her."

"Thank you then, sorry to bother you," Trisya shifted her gaze.

"What you're saying, it's not at all troublesome, I'm really happy. Be careful on the road," Trisya nodded, he kissed Zalia's head a glance, then passed.

'I will give you a chance with Zalia even if I feel anxious, however, you are my daughter's real father, I don't want to take that right away from you.'
