The Seed of the Ex!
Chapter 28 - The Love

Bryant helped Trisya get back on her feet and took two steps forward.

"Retreat, or I'll slit this kid's throat!" Shouted Ben, with grinning lips showing a row of uneven teeth.

"No, please don't do that, I beg you." Jerit Trisya hysterical. His heart grew more and more in the midst of extreme anxiety at the sight of his daughter on the brink of death.

"How much money do you want, tell me?" Said Bryant with eyes that could not be separated watching his movements.

Ben snorted in laughter, "if I asked for a billion, would you give it?"

"Okay, but let go of the boy, let's talk about this all right."

Ben laughed again, "you think I'm stupid, if I let go of this kid you'll definitely catch me, not the money I get, but the bars."

"If you don't let go, I won't give you the money either." Reply Bryant.

"Then you keep your money, that's not what I want, it's revenge." Slowly chuckling.

"B-ben, my daughter is not wrong, please let her go. Please just arrest me and release my daughter." Lirih Trisya, she really felt desperate to see the state of Zalia who was so worried.

"Bryant, please save Zalia, please."

"Calm down, trust me with everything. I'm not gonna let Zalia get hurt."

"Bless hands and surrender!" The voice made Trisya look over.

A group of people in police uniforms suddenly appeared at the place and surrounded Ben from all sides.

"Damn!" Decak Ben, he's tightening his grip, "get all of you back, or this kid, is gonna die." Threatened him.

When Ben's attention was distracted by the police who surrounded him, Bryant slowly approached from behind and on the count of three Bryant managed to ambush Ben from behind. He's trying to get Zalia out of Ben's grip.

"Don't you, you son of a bitch!" Snarled. With his hands constantly trying to maintain his grip on Zalia's chest.

"I'm not gonna let you hurt my daughter, damn it!" Bryant replied fiercely, unconsciously he said the words he had been trying to hide.

Joshs...

Finally Zalia slipped out of Ben's grip, and soon the little girl ran to Trisya and immersed herself in his mother's arms.

"Mo-mommy, a-I'm scared," he exclaimed with a trembling body.

"No papa dear, everything is fine," Trisya hugged Zalia tightly, trying to calm the little girl

Bryant was still struggling and trying to fight Ben, until finally, bles... Accidentally his stomach was pierced by the sharp object.

Dor...! A police officer shot Ben in the leg, causing the man to fall to the ground with his legs covered in blood.

Ouch, hah hah, Bryant slumped with his knees first touching the ground, he gripped his stomach after he pulled out the knife stuck there and threw it in any direction.

"Breyy! God, are you okay?" Trisya came up with a panicked face, she tried to help Bryant to stand up, but his legs were too weak to climb to the ground.

"Sir help my friend!" Shouted Trisya hysterically, some of the police took Ben and some of them helped Bryant, they were driven to the hospital using a police car.

'You should be fine, I don't want to have any debts against you.'

"Miss, you'd better go home, let me take care of the master here." Said Marc standing in front of Trisya at this time.

"No Marc, before I heard he was okay I wasn't leaving." Trisya.

"Miss-,"

"All right, whatever." Marc passed to take care of the hospital administration.

"Mommy, is Om the neighbor going to be okay?" Zalia asked while raising her head.

"Dear baby, he'll be fine. Nothing's gonna happen to her, Mommy's sure." Trisya said, rubbing Zalia's head slowly, she clutched the tiny body, as if hugging something most precious.

The door of the operating room opened, and a middle-aged male doctor came out from inside.

"Doctor, how's Bryant doing, is everything okay?" Trisya asked impatiently.

The doctor sighed softly, "lucky the knife did not injure the victim's internal organs, the sharp object did not stab him too deeply, so he only got the outer stitches alone."

Trisya sighed in relief, "thankfully, thank you Doctor."

"Together, now that we're going to move him into the treatment room, we're just waiting for Mr. Bryant to come to his senses."

"Okay, Doctor, thank you again."

"Mommy, is Om Bryant okay?"

"Yes, he's fine."

"Can I see him?" Ask Zalia expectantly.

"It can't be a pity, Om Bryant still hasn't woken up, so we have to wait for him to wake up first and then see him.

"Oh so," Zalia looked disappointed, but the girl sat back where she was.

"Mommy, when the neighbor Om helped me earlier, he said, I won't let you hurt my daughter. Why would he say that? I'm not his daughter." Zalia muttered she lowered her head.

Trisya fell silent, she looked at Zalia's facial expression, "that's because the neighbor Om thinks of Zalia as his own daughter, maybe that's why the neighbor Om says so." Trisya Error.

'So Bryant already knew that Zalia was his daughter, so that's why he always approached Zalia, but how did he know?' Trisya clenched her hands, then got up.

"Marc, I'd like to talk to you for a moment" Trisya said to Marc who was standing not far from his current place, the man only replied with a nod.

"Zalia, Mommy's gonna talk to Marc for a second, Zalia wait here a minute and don't go anywhere, okay."

"Yes Mommy" Zalia replied with a nod.

Trisya goes first with Marc behind her, but they don't go too far to keep an eye on Zalia.

"Did Bryant know something?" Trisya immediately asked the point.

"Something what?" Marc asked pretending not to understand what Trisya meant.

Trisya let out a heavy breath, "something about Zalia, about who her father is."

Marc smiled softly, "do you think you can hide that? Miss, sir never once had any ill intentions towards you, everything he did because of his innocence."

Trisya snorted violently, "plain, you think she's a child. What he did to me, I still can't forgive him. But now that's not what I want to talk about, but about Zalia, my daughter."

"Did Bryant already know that Zalia was-" Trisya could not finish his words.

"Yes, you know that Zalia is her real daughter, which is why she didn't hesitate to risk her own life to save her." Bright Marc.

Trisya closed her eyes at a glance, taking a deep breath, "alright then, but Marc, I want you to keep our conversation a secret today. Let everything stay as before."

"Why? Master wishes you had told him about Zalia yourself, which is why he has remained silent to this day."

"I'm just not ready, in time I'll say it myself."
