"Pardon us sir, we don't mean to vilify Trisya's name, we just want you to know all of Trisya's past before you decide you want to be with him," one of the women ventured to comment.
Bryant smiled softly, "thank you for the attention, I didn't expect I had employees who cared about me so much, it was amazing," those words sounded more like innuendo than the expression of gratitude that came out of Bryant's mouth.
"You know what about Trisya? How long have you known her?" Bryant walked up to the woman who immediately lowered her head in fear of the body shaking, because the gaze intimidated him.
All eyes were on the woman, a mixed gaze of pity and curiosity all over the two women.
"Nobody knows more about him than I do. And yes, about that kid you're talking about, his name is Zalia, he's not an illegitimate child without Dad" Bryant said, making everyone look at each other, "I know you wanted to say that, right," he added, Bryant summed up the word that even the woman didn't dare say, but Bryant could guess the direction the words were going.
"No sir, I-I don't intend to say that at all," she said with quivering lips, shaking her head in denial of everything Bryant said.
"He is my daughter, Trisya's son is my son!" he said, making everyone scream so surprised, how could it happen, all that was unexpected, it turned out that Trisya was not an ordinary woman, as they had suspected so far.
"That's enough Bryant, stop. We have to work again" Trisya's words distract Bryant.
"Are you not hurt by their words Trisha, they put you and Zalia behind you, maybe you can just shut up and accept every curse and mockery they lay upon you, but I didn't! Those who once insulted you will feel the consequences!" annoyed.
"Hey come on don't overdo it," Trisya approached, trying to calm Bryant's anger that already seemed like it was going to explode like a nuclear bomb, making the employees all feel anxious, he said, afraid of getting sprayed from his boss.
"Excessively said?" Bryant stared in disbelief.
"OK, okay, I understand you mean well, but Bryant everything he said wasn't entirely wrong, I did have a son and they didn't know who Zalia's real father was either. As for them, Zalia herself doesn't know who her father is, you're not ashamed, they're all looking at us" Trisya said in a soft tone, so only Bryant could hear her words.
"But I'm really upset." Complaining Bryant, while exhaling a rough breath.
Trisya sighed softly, "let's talk somewhere else," Trisya pulled Bryant's arm to follow in her footsteps. Their steps stopped in a quiet corridor, this road is rarely used by people because it leads to the basement.
Trisya took off her grip and turned to look at Bryant in the face, "I want to thank you for admitting Zalia in front of everyone, I'm so happy. But Bryant, regarding the woman's words, do not take heart, you yourself conclude the word that he did not say at all," Trisya said, trying to give understanding to Bryant.
"His mouth didn't say that, but I'm sure in his rotten heart he said to you." Bryant nodded, his face still unchanged.
"Bryant, we can't control another person's heart or mouth, so just let them say anything, we know what we are, as long as I live that principle that I hold, ' he said, so that I don't have to be hurt by other people's words." Bryant stared at Trisya's face, wanting to feel like he was immersing Trisya in his arms, but his wits and thoughts stopped him, until now Trisya had not fully accepted him back, so as much as possible Bryant must keep his distance so that Trisya is not angry.
He snorted a smile, it was possible that slowly his heart was again moved by the same male figure but with a different personality.
'Bryant has changed, I know that. Although he was the same man as six years ago, but his eyes were very different.' Trisya's inner mumble, he looked at Bryant's back which slowly drifted away.
During the day when lunchtime arrived, a voice that Trisya recognized suddenly exclaimed.
"Mommy!" the call suddenly made Trisya turn her head, it was Zalia, she came with Bryant and Marc, either when the man went to pick up Zalia from school.
"Darling, why are you here?" trisya asked, she kissed Zalia on the cheek slowly and carried the little girl in her lap.
"Daddy brought me here, Mommy. Mommy does this office belong to Daddy?" Zalia is getting used to calling Bryant Daddy. His eyes explored every corner of the room.
Emh, Trisya turned to Bryant, The man must have started bragging about Zalia again, he said he wanted to be the Father that his daughter was most proud of.
"Yaps, this is Daddy's office" Trisya confirmed, "but... Above Daddy there is Grandpa and Grandpa Buyut, so broadly speaking this is not entirely your Daddy's" Trisya said, raising her eyebrows mocking Bryant.
"Oh really? Where're they? Can Zalia see Grandpa?" the question leads to both.
"Of course Zalia had to meet them, even those who were eager to meet Zalia. But Daddy has to get things straight, Mommy said this company doesn't belong to Daddy but to Daddy's family. But actually Mommy was wrong, Daddy bought this company with his own money not a penny using family money," he said with confidence, even in his heart he wanted Trisya to praise him.
"Woah, Daddy's great, isn't Mommy?!" Zalia asked for an opinion.
"Yes, Daddy's great." Trisya smiled forcefully.
'Shit, you arrogant bastard. Look at his satisfied face, Trisya smiled faintly, but indeed Trisya had to admit in terms of business Bryant can not be underestimated, until his family decided to give up the company to him when Bryant was still very young.
Bryant smiled in satisfaction, "want to have lunch together?" bargained for.
"You!" Zalia who said, inevitably Trisya also agreed to Bryant's proposal, she did not want to lose the smile on her daughter's face.
And they went for lunch together in a restaurant that was still in their office area.
