The Seed of the Ex!

The Seed of the Ex!
Chapter 26 - Angry or Jealous?

Bryant smiled faintly in response to Trisya's murmur, of course he was able to read it even though he didn't hear it.

"What are you doing here?" ask Trisya who does not want to be friendly at all.

"I'll meet the Client, but they didn't come today" Bryant replied as he continued to take care of Zalia like a father.

"When are you close?" Bryant was pecking at once, unaware that he was watching Zalia more than he should.

Zalia lowered her head, "what's wrong with me watching her, after all we're neighbors. Let's eat some more Zalia, "" Bryant again filled Zalia's plate with clam meat, he didn't care about the look Trisya gave him.

"Yes, that's just our relationship, neighbor. So behave like your status," Trisya got up, "Zalia, is the meal full?" Zalia nodded, the boy got off the chair and walked over to the mother.

"Trisya, there's plenty of food, where are you going?" ask Jonatan.

"Sorry Jo, today I feel a little unwell, we'll have lunch together another time."

"Sit down! Zalia is still eating!" furious Bryant.

"Zalia said she was full!" Trisya.

Bryant gave a rude snort, he got up while glancing strangely at Trisya, "why are you so afraid I'm approaching your daughter? Are you hiding something from me?"

Trisya widened her eyes, "what do you mean? Hiding what?" Trisya pretended not to understand.

"It's Mommy, let's go home. Zalia is full." Said the little girl with a sad look.

"We go home together, after all, where we live next to each other." Bryant clasped Zalia's hand about to pull her in his footsteps, but Trisya threw Bryant's hand and pulled Zalia back at him.

"Take my son off!" unexpectedly Trisya said half a shout making many pairs of eyes turn towards them.

Jonatan seemed confused, he felt uncomfortable and embarrassed by the strange and curious views they lay towards him at this time.

"Well, we get out of here. Or people will start talking about us." Jonatan whispered half a whisper.

Without waiting for anything else, Bryant carried Zalia and pulled Trisya's arm to follow in his footsteps.

"Take me off Bryant!" Trisya attempts to escape Bryant's clutches but fails.

Bryant sat Zalia in the back of his car.

"Lake in!" His order on Trisya was firm, "quick in!" his insistence, made Trisya unwilling to obey his words.

Bryant ran his car back home, he glanced at Zalia who was sitting quietly behind, the little girl just lowered her head.

"Zalia, did Om scare you? Om really sorry."

Trisya gave a rude snort, "you are indeed scary, so stay away from my son."

Bryant did not reply, he focused on his wheel again. It didn't take them long to arrive. Trisya quickly descended and brought Zalia up to the upper floor.

Bryant again blocked Trisya's arm as she was about to enter her house, "i want to talk!"

"There's nothing we need to talk about!" Trisya balked, he threw Bryant's hand violently.

"Don't be like this, Zalia saw him," whispered Bryant, making Trisya instantly return to her usual attitude.

"Dear Zalia, come in. Mommy wants to talk to Bryant for a second." He said as he gently rubbed Zalia's head.

"Yes Mommy" he said obediently, the little boy came in first, then Trisya closed the door again.

Bryant pulled Trisya's arm and dragged her into his house, "what are you doing, let me go" she lamented, trying to escape.

Brak's...!

Bryant closed the door rudely, he cornered Trisya to the wall, "you're still in a relationship with that man?"

Trisya snorted a smile, "it's none of your business."

"Is he the boy's father?" Trisya just kept quiet with a flat look.

"She's no one's daughter, she's just my daughter" Trisya replied firmly.

Bryant snorted in laughter, "no one can produce his child alone, I'm not a child who would believe in such a reason."

"Zalia doesn't have a father. Her father is dead, "Trisya turned his head the other way.

"So-is?"

"Yes!" The answer without hesitation.

"Well, do you love him?"

"You mean Jonatan?"

Bryant kept his eyes focused on Trisya, waiting for an answer that might hurt his own heart.

"If I love her, it's none of your business."

"That's my business, because I love you Trisya too, I don't like it when you're with her. I hate it when you smile at her, but towards me, you always turn your face away." she lamented with her weakest lips.

Trisya smiled cynically.

'Finally, you feel what I felt first, that's how I used to feel Bryant, when you were with other women and making out in front of me. Honestly right now my feelings are quite satisfied it feels, seeing jealousy on your face.'

"Trisya, I'd like to refer back to you, please reconsider. Now that things have changed, I already love you, let's start all over." Persuade Bryant.

"Keep dreaming! Until I never come back to you." Trisya pushed Bryant's body to a distance of several inches.

"Get aside, Zalia is alone in the house she'll cry." Trisya was about to turn the doorknob, but Bryant's words stopped his intention for a moment.

"Do you hate me so much?" slowly oozed.

He replied hesitantly, "very, I hate you so much."

"Will he make you happy? Can I trust him?"

Trisya reluctantly replied, she just passed by leaving Bryant with a question without an answer.

Trisya clasped her chest for no apparent reason, feeling tight, '*what's wrong with me? Why am I being like this?'

'There's no way I'm going back to being devastated by it, it's too painful to forget, Trisya realized.'

"Mommy." Call from Zalia, awakening Trisya from her daydream.

"Darling Mommy has taken a shower, sorry old Mommy, here Mommy is putting her hair out." Trisya sat Zalia in the sopa with her back, and began to comb Zalia's waist-length hair.

"Mommy..," he called.

"Yes baby?"

"Om the neighbor is a good person, please don't be mad at him" he said slowly.

Trisya was silent for a moment, she tucked Zalia's hair, and twisted the girl's body to face her.

"Zalia knows where Om the neighbor is a good man, you meet often?" Zalia looked down in fear, then nodded.

'Sorry neighbor, Zalia can no longer lie to Mommy.' he murmured inwardly.

"Om neighbors often come to the crowded park near Zalia's school, said Om neighbors he likes to see small children, it makes him remember his own son."

"Om the neighbor has a child?" Trisya looked surprised her gaze widened perfectly.

Zalia looked up at Trisya with her clear black eyeballs, she nodded slowly, "hmh, she said so. Her daughter is my age, please don't be mad at her Mommy, Om neighbor's a good person, she's not a bad person."

'Bryant has kids? Fuck, what else is his son Zalia, indeed a person like him can not be trusted, the word of love that comes out of the mouth of a land crocodile is just a figurative word.'
