A Hardened Heart

“Gab, how are you doing elo ?” asked Raina who was sitting across from Gaby with Bimbim and Mimi right next to her.

“Weird question,” Gaby said as she frowned.

“Elo everyone can see that I'm fine, right ?”

The three compactly sighed making Gaby stare at them one by one with a confused face.

”We all don't want to get stale anymore, Gab. Not only the three of us doang even Danu and Joni who are far from elo also feel that elo be a little person…. Sorrry if offending elo but the reality is that the current elo is a bitter, cynical and somewhat sadistic person ?”

“Heh ? What do you mean ?” Gaby looked at Raina who had glanced at Bimbim and Mimi.

Gaby woke up with her flat face made her three best friends surprised.

Gaby slowly releases Mimi's hand from her arm and while smiling bitterly she leaves her three best friends still sitting in the cafeteria.

“So how should we dong ?” ask Bimbim while sighing.

“Two months Danu and Joni promise to vacation to Jakarta, we try to talk again with Gaby,” said Raina.

“Dan elo, Mi, as Gaby's closest friend, please don't leave her alone. Gaby will harden her heart even more if everyone stays away from her.”

“Hmmmm,” says Mimi while nodding.

“It's finished college, Gab ?” ask Sofian when he sees Gaby in his room.

“Already, Om. Dian said Om looking for me ?”

“Sit down first, Gab,” Om Sofian stepped off his desk and let Gaby sit on the couch.

“Where is your college ? Smoothly ?”

“Current Om.”

“Om wants to discuss the issue of Leo's follow-up hearing which will be held again next Monday.” Gaby just nodded and put her phone on the table.

Om Sofian lets Gaby leave his room while looking at him pity.

Gaby had just exited the elevator on the ground floor when Mimi ran over to her.

“What else is it ?” asked Gaby with a flat face while stepping.

“So Juan left this, he said he forgot to love elo directly. Statistical tasks, there are some that need to be repaired and Mr. Rahman asked for elo to gather again no later than the day after.”

“Thanks.”

Gaby stopped her steps and Mimi stopped and followed Gaby's gaze.

In front of her was already standing Maya with an increasingly protruding stomach, her face looked sad and her appearance was a little chaotic.

“Sorry that I disturbed Gaby,” Maya said as she stood before Jonathan's ex-wife.

Gaby flinch and Mimi drifts away a little, giving privacy to the two women who are feuding just because of a Jonathan.

Mimi immediately glared in surprise when she saw Maya immediately gathered in front of Gaby while holding one finger Gaby.

“Jonathan has never betrayed you. Even though I begged while crying, she never wanted to come back to me. That day I was wrong, I teased him.”

Gaby pulls her hand but Maya further tightens her grip. His face began to be moistened by tears.

“I'm sorry for all that and I beg you not to vent your anger on Leo let alone Daddy. I beg Gaby, I beg you very.”

Gaby did not reply just looking back at Maya with a cold face, making Mimi shudder to see him.

Gaby uses her other hand to remove the fingers Maya still holds but the pregnant woman remains persistent pleading still in a kneeling position.

Mimi approached, asking Maya to stand up but the woman shook her head with a tearful face.

It was then that Gaby stomped her hand roughly enough that Maya's grip slipped off. Almost the woman fell to the floor but Mimi quickly held her back.

Gaby walks away while Maya wakes up helped by Mimi.

“Didn't you feel rich and great?” satirize Gaby with a cynical smile.

“Please find a lawyer who can free your family from the snare of the law. There's no point in you apologizing to me because all the evidence is fact not story or mere skit.”

“Gaby,” hiss Mimi with a sigh.

“No Gaby, I believe that only you can help ease their punishment.”

Mimi tried to hold Maya back but the woman had already rushed up to Gaby back and held her arm.

“I beg Gaby.”

Gaby stomps Maya's hand hard enough that she falls to the floor before Mimi can hold her back.

Maya grimaces holding her stomach. Gaby glanced at him with a flat face and let Mimi approach the woman.

“Gab, she's bleeding !” screeched Mimi with a panicked face.

Gaby just kept quiet with a flat face, turned around and continued her steps towards the lobby.

“Gaby !” peek at Mimi with an annoyed face.

Gaby signals to 2 security people who have only seen and did not dare to approach to help Mimi and Maya.

Outside Gaby asks for the keys and tells her driver to approach Mimi. Slowly he took his car out of the office area and ignored Maya's condition which seemed to be bleeding.
