The arrival of Maya

“Why doesn't Daddy want to go home yet?” ask Martin in Harry's office.

“Daddy has already swiped Gavra and all the hospital affairs have daddy settled.”

“Dad, it seems like I will not be able to alone face this situation,” complained Martin with a lethargic face until daddy immediately laughed.

“This is only a small part, boy, let you get smarter when you get married later.”

“If there is a good candidate, I do not mind getting acquainted first. I'm sure that daddy's instinct won't miss.”

“If Gaby is not married will daddy mate with you. Overall, she suits you well and won't be subdued by your mommy and Maya.”

Martin laughed at daddy's words.

“May if my future wife is like Gaby. Who knows there is a daddy friend who has qualifications like him.”

“You had lunch with daddy ?”

“Of course.”

Both of them got up from the sofa and lovingly, daddy grabbed hold of Martin's shoulder, the boy who had always been his favorite since childhood.

“Don't stay home too long, Dad. It felt lonely there was no male creature that I could talk to and change my mind.” Daddy Harry laughed.

“Then tonight daddy will go home but sleep in your room like when you were little. What fairy tale do you want to read?”

“News about mommy and daddy.”

“Basic businessman, still trying to negotiate.”

“I learned from Daddy.” Daddy Harry laughed again as he patted Martin on the shoulder with a proud face.

Leo was flabbergasted as he opened the door of his rented house. Maya stood up with a sad gaze, not as arrogant as usual.

“Mas Leo.”

“You what ?”

“Not Brother Martin who told me about this place but I made Mr. Tito drive me here.”

Leo took a deep breath before widening the door of his house. He signals Maya to come inside.

Leo immediately sat on a wooden chair in the living room without allowing Maya who seemed hesitant to sit.

Maya hurriedly shook her head and sat opposite Leo.

“Gavra was admitted to the hospital on the eve of the new year. Fever due to indigestion.”

Leo was silent, not giving any response, his face looked flat.

“I started learning to give him ASI directly.”

Leo is quite surprised to hear Maya's statement but as much as possible he covers it so that Maya can not read her mood.

“I'm not afraid anymore to hold Gavra and routinely give her ASI. It turned out to be so nice to see her laughing funny and her hands touching me while breastfeeding.”

Maya sighed because Leo was still silent and indifferent, as if the story meant nothing.

”I miss the same Mas Leo,” Mayan shrill with a very slow voice but still can be heard by Leo.

“Of course because no one has cleared up your problem, Miss. All this time you just give orders and my job is to report that everything is fine.”

“Not because of that,” Maya looked up and looked at Leo with a wet face but Leo's heart had not been moved.

For years Maya used tears to melt the hearts of many people including Leo.

The man realized that he could not resist when faced with Maya who was crying but now Leo has hardened his heart to not easily melt when dealing with the woman.

“I don't know how to put together a good sentence,” Maya said with a bitter smile.

“I'm sorry Mas Leo, sorry for all the rude attitude and hurtful words. I'm sorry that I never appreciated Mas Leo's kindness and considered it all Mas Leo's obligation because it has been paid by the company. Sorry about Leo. Please give me a chance to fix everything and prove that I really want to change.”

“I've spoken to Martin and asked Mr. Harry to continue our divorce proceedings. Martin has agreed and will give you the news after everything goes.”

“I don't want us to get divorced,” firmly Maya. Her tears have stopped.

“I don't want to maintain this marriage !” firm Leo with hardened jaws and bulging eyes.

“I want to spend time and raise Gavra and have a child with Mas Leo.”

“I don't expect anything from you anymore. After our divorce proceedings are sorted out, I will finish my prison term at lapas.”

Maya approaches Leo and walks towards the door. Unexpectedly, he hugged Leo from behind.

“Please give me one more chance, Leo. I will bear the risk of breaking my words. Come back to me Leo, me and Gavra are expecting you as husband and father.”

Of course you need me because daddy and Martin have the heart to let you go in order to become independent women and responsible mothers. Who else is able to face you and obey all your wishes.

“You can find Gavra's real father right ? Or are you looking for me after failing to hold Gavra's father in charge?” cynical Leo with a mocking smile.

“I never intended to find out who Gavra's real father was because of which I only wanted Mas Leo to be my life companion, not someone else.”

“Because I'm just Martin's assistant who has to run his boss's orders ?”

Leo laughed cynically and let go of Maya's hand that hugged her waist. His hand opened the door and signaled Maya to leave her rented house.

“Mas Leo.”

Leo looked the other way, reluctant to return Maya's gaze. He tried not to be easily broken with the attitude of a woman who is still his wife. Lying that Leo can remove Maya's name from her heart but it will be more painful if Leo persists with his love.

Maya is shocked when Leo slams the door right in front of her. The woman sighed, it was not easy to make people believe that she wanted to change.
