A Dangerous Heart

“It turns out Kendra's sister is the same!” gaby growled while glaring at Kendra.

“I really didn't know Jonathan was coming, Gab. Swear !” Kendra raised her finger in the shape of the letter V.

With a face red with emotion, Gaby rushed to leave Kendra but swiftly Jonathan held her back.

”Release no !” gaby growled with glaring eyes.

“Give me 3 minutes, Bi. Just 3 minutes,” pinta Jonathan with pleading face.

“Nothing else to talk about.”

“I'd like to leave Mama, Bi. Jenny still has to finish her studies in 1 year and I have decided to leave Jakarta. You are the happiness of mama, Bi, so I relented, I will stay away from you guys.”

Gaby turned her head, looked at Jonathan intently, there was no more love in those eyes, only disappointment, hurt and hate.

“You are his son, why let go of that responsibility on me ? We are no longer in a relationship, so do not make your own decisions !”

Gaby jerked her hand out.

“Sorry to me, Bi. I love you so much but subconsciously I also hurt you the most,” muttered Jonathan.

Jonathan's sad face did not make Gaby touched, instead he rushed into a taxi that had just dropped off passengers.

Gaby immediately pulled out her phone and blocked all numbers related to Jonathan including her ex-husband.

Jonathan could only stare at the face of his ex-wife who was throwing her face to the side. Several times he breathed.

In her room, Mama Hani cries in Jenny's arms.

“It is not so, Ma. Her future husband Maya's name is Leo, aspri her sister Maya and has long loved her boss' sister. He is angry to see Maya hurt by Brother Nathan and intends to reply her in the name of love.”

“Why Nathan so likes to hurt women.” Jenny laughed again at Mama Hani's complaint.

Jenny smiled because Mama had stopped crying and was so enthusiastic about talking about Maya that she began to be able to get out her emotions.

Jonathan urgently looked at Mama when he saw the woman who gave birth to him continue crying. He was worried that his presence even made Mama more sad, upset and angry.

“When can I forbid elo to talk?” jonathan said with a bitter laugh.

“Don't run away for the good of anyone including Gaby because the decision was just to calm your own feelings. It's the same how you hide from trouble. Women of Gaby's age will probably appreciate a man who persistently tries to get an apology from her.”

”But from Gaby's gaze today, I see it is very difficult to make her forgive me.”

Jonathan simply rolled his eyeballs, trying to consider Kendra's advice.

After cleaning himself Gaby pulled up a chair and sat in front of the window whose curtains were half-shut. When her mood was upset, Gaby was most happy to look at the scenery outside at night. According to Gaby, the lights of houses and buildings are like fireflies.

Her heart could not bear to build a fort with mom and Jenny because this separation was not their fault even though Jonathan was part of that family.

What he saw made Gaby's heart like a glass that broke into pieces, hard to form into one glass that was intact again.

Gaby opened the door to the balcony. The night breeze felt cold but enough to make Gaby's heart that was hot again warmed. He continued to build a high separation wall so that he would no longer be hurt many times.

Gaby looked at her vibrating phone and on the screen only came a line of nameless numbers. It's certainly not from mama, Jenny, Kemdra or Jonathan because their numbers have been blocked by Gaby.

Gaby ignored the call that returned to her phone up to 5 times and the sixth sound was the notification of incoming messages from the same number.

Can I have some time to meet ?

Gaby frowned and decided to ignore the message. There is no point in responding to anonymous and unimportant messages.
