Hating Papa

After the engagement, William invited Caroline to lunch together. At exactly 12 p.m., William picked up Caroline in her room.

"How, Carol? Are you ready?" ask William.

"Shirley, sorry today I can't have lunch with you."

"No problem, Carol. Your husband's candidate is more important. Moreover, you will get married." Shirley couldn't possibly continue tailing Caroline. They'll be married in a week. Of course there's a lot to talk about.

Caroline and William went to a restaurant not far from her office. They went there in William's car.

"If it's just the restaurant next door, why use the car, Will?"

"I'm not mad at you, Will. I was so angry at my dad. Is it still appropriate to call him a father after what he did to me? Ah, not to me. More precisely my mother. William is deeply saddened to imagine how little Caroline struggled to live with her mother? She was trying to be a tough girl before her supposed age.

"I don't know, Will. Maybe I hate him. I was like a stranger to him. Why am I expecting herself again? Forget about her. I want you to hold my hand tight at all times, Will. Never let go like that time. I can't be far from living with you."

William pulled his car over. He clasped tightly onto the girl's hand which in a few days would become his wife.

"I promise you and I will never leave you again. Be the Caroline I know. I've always loved you, Carol."

Caroline loved him the same. A few years left by the man did not make him to hate. More and more, he always loved her so that no one else could enter her heart.

"I love you too, Will."

Her parents' past will never get in the way of their love story. The long struggle to reach this point must not be broken just because of the presence of an Alex.
