Caroline returned with a medicine box containing cotton wool, antiseptic alcohol, and plaster. The wound was not very large but the blood seemed to flow through William's finger.
The man still pretended to be unconscious until Caroline's delicate hand began to apply alcohol to her scar.
"Ouu...." William whimpering.
"Will, are you conscious? Why not wear clothes like that? This Villa is not your luxury mansion," Caroline's cerocos scolded the man before her.
"You care about me?" William tried to sit down.
"Eh, don't sit down! I'm done treating the wound." Caroline purposely closed her hearing. He did not want to give that man any more hope.
"Carol, can you hear me?" William's upset. His efforts to get Caroline's attention seem futile.
"I'm not deaf. I can be sure I've heard everything you've said, Mr. William." Caroline finished putting the plaster in William's hands. After that he cleaned up the medicine box he always carried with him wherever he went.
William deftly grabbed the girl's face then landed a kiss on her lips. Caroline rebelled and reflexively slapped her.
Plaque!
William's surprised. The Caroline he knew was completely different.
"Don't be rude, Mr. Will! I'm helping you doesn't mean doing things like that. I have a feeling. Please don't give me false hope. Once this work is done, I will immediately submit a letter of resignation." Caroline rushed back to her room but her burly hands blocked her.
"Don't do that! I don't want to part with you a second time."
Caroline let go of that burly hand. "I'm a free woman, Mr. Will. Don't force me to always obey your wishes!"
"Ck, don't cover up your feelings of love. Then I'll always hurt you. Say let me also know that you still love me." William stands. He took the blanket to any place.
The two look at each other. For a moment Caroline was fascinated with the burly body and then she was able to master the situation.
"It's none of your business, sir. Don't enter my life with your marriage. Even if I don't know if your marriage is happy or not."
Caroline left William's room. The man immediately punched the wall. Attempt failed.
While being frustrated by his failure, his phone rang. There's a call from his wife.
"Hello, what's wrong?" william Ketus.
"Dear, don't be like that. I miss you" Rose said in her long voice.
"I'm only five days, Rose. Soon I'll be home" replied William.
"I just want to go on vacation with your family. Mama, Papa, Jack, and me. We're going abroad. Actually I didn't come, but mom forced me to come." Roseanne's voice sounded very lazy.
"Papa's tumben's coming, too?" William was surprised by the news he had obtained.
"Oh, no dear. Papa just drove us to the airport. Hurry home, I miss you so much! Tell me you miss me too!" roseanne Pinta.
"Yes, honey. I miss you too." William immediately disconnected his phone.
While outside William's room, Caroline hears everything. He was confident in his decision even though the pain obtained was not worth the wait all along.
I'm sorry, Will. It's very bitter for me. Soon I will be gone from your life.
Caroline went back to her room and didn't come out of there. He did not want to stare at the man's bead of eyes anymore which always gave hope.
"Carol, out! I wanted to apologize to you. I know I was wrong, but please let me explain everything. I still love you so much and my feelings are sincere. I never mess with my words!" William fought hard.
Caroline was silent and did not respond. As soon as she wanted to go home and hand the project back to Mr. Darius, but given the middle-aged man's kindness, Caroline wanted to finish the job and then submit a resignation letter to him.
"Carl... Trust me. I still love you as much as you love me. We have the same heart and the same love. Come outside! We're talking good. Don't be like this! I'm so worried about you" cried William from the outside.
Fortunately their Villa was special, so no one else would know if William shouted like that.
William returned to his room, after being confirmed there was no more sound. Caroline ventured out to get some drinking water. He wanted to find another Villa to avoid William.
Caroline pulled out her suitcase. He didn't know if William had just come out of his room again. Seeing Caroline pull her suitcase, William immediately chased after her and prevented her.
"Where are you going? It is still within the scope of the Austin Group. You can't go anywhere!" said William.
"Mr William, I want to rest in peace without any interference from anyone. You don't have to worry. I just moved to the Villa next door." Caroline insisted on going out.
"One more time you dare to step foot, I'll have papa fire you and make your life back the way it used to be!" threatening William.
Caroline put down the suitcase. He looks very angry.
"Please contact Mr. Darius. No need to bother, sir. Once this project is complete, I will file it with pleasure."
"Carol, I'm just kidding." William smiled at her.
"My life isn't that easy, sir. This joke is not very good at all. Please let me get out of this villa. Tomorrow at my meeting place will come. I'm not running away from responsibility." Caroline was negotiating with her ex-boyfriend.
"No, I won't allow it. Go back to your room. The day is getting late. Rest up!"
"No, I won't be able to calm down before you promise not to approach me!"
William surrendered. There's no point in arguing with Caroline. The girl is very smart. He would not easily believe it.
"alright. I'll be professional. Ii'm sorry. Go back to your room!"
Caroline went back into her room and did not want to see the man's face. The destiny line played with his feelings. Why does life always bring him to that man?
Caroline is very calm tonight. No more interference from the man. He held firm to his words.
"Thank God, tonight is safe. I want to go home and hug my mom. I wanted to shout out loud so that I could erase his name from my heart. Don't let me be happy when I'm with him. I need to stay sober!" Caroline cheered herself on.
When he was about to close his eyes, he accidentally saw a folded paper placed under his door.
What is that paper?
Caroline got out of bed and picked it up. He opened the paper.
I'm sorry, Carol. I can't contain this feeling of love. I know it's wrong, but my heart can't lie if I still love and expect you back.Your Love, William-William
Caroline crumpled the paper and tore it very small and threw it in the trash. There is nothing more to fight for with a man like him.
Forget me, Will. We'll forget each other.
