"I have to go back to my room, dear Lord William. There's a lot of work to be done" he said.

"I told you, wait a minute! I want to talk to you a lot. Why haven't you called me in five years?" William could not accept the fact that after Caroline said the word break up, he had never contacted her again.

"The phone you gave me is already on sale. I need money to rent a house. Did I do that wrong?" reply Caroline. He doesn't want to get caught up again in William's charms that make his life even more complicated.
