The arrival of Alex

The conversation between William and Caroline had just finished. The girl returned to her room with the return of Lord Darius.

"It's over, Carol?" asked Mr. Darius, who happened to cross paths at the door of his room.

"Already, Sir. Thank you," he said.

William is out too. I don't know where that guy is going? Mr. Darius was alone in his room to finish some files he had not touched since.

Just as Caroline and William are out, now the room is knocked again.

"Lake in!" answer to Mr. Darius. In his mind, Caroline or William will enter again.

The view of Mr. Darius seemed to welcome something that had been waiting for him. Still do not believe in the arrival of the person before him at this time. Sir Darius is back in time. However, he was quite aware that the person before him was real.

"Alex?" Mr. Darius stood up and welcomed the arrival of the man.

"Hello, Darius. We haven't met for a long time. How you doing?" ask Alex. The man sat on the sofa.

Darius who was still sitting in his great chair then stood up to approach Alex. Darius tried several times to find her, but never met.

"It looks like your arrival is due to something. Is that right, Alex?" search Darius.

"Darius .. We haven't seen each other in a long time. Apparently your mind is still the same as before. You always corner me. That's right, isn't it?" reply Alex.

Between Alex and Darius has a slightly unkind past. Only Veronica's problem made them fight. It was just a moment before Alex went nowhere.

"Nobody has the right to corner you, Alex. I'm just holding accountable the woman you once made a wife for. Did you forget that she was abandoned?" accuse Darius.

The atmosphere of the room is quiet. In anticipation of others not to go in, Darius immediately informed the receptionist to ban anyone from entering his room. Including Caroline and William. They can't know about Alex's whereabouts for now.

"What are you doing, Darius? Are you afraid that your employees know who you really are?" reply Alex. The middle-aged man apparently did not want to budge.

Whatever Alex accused him of, Darius never responded. It's not his fault to ask Alex back to Veronica. They are legitimate husband and wife. Darius only interfered when Alex hurt Veronica. It's not fair to let someone she loves hurt so much.

"Enough, Alex! You just have to prove who the real bastard is here. You or me?" reply Darius.

Alex always retaliates against Darius by hurting his loved ones. However, Darius was never tired of defending Veronica. Despite the past, the woman remains her priority. Not in the form of attention as to his wife, but the supervision carried out by others. Darius understands why Alex left him.

"It was Veronica's own fault. He forced me to give him a child. You know, Darius. I don't want to have another person's child. Quite a fatal mistake I made, but apparently Veronica insisted. He said it was okay to leave him. I had to leave her when I found out she was pregnant" she said.

Darius tried to digest Alex's words. He was not a stupid man who just believed in his words.

Alex stands. He headed to the window and looked widely out. His gaze fell on the skyscrapers compared to his best friend's office. No, no, no, rather a rival in friendship. Not friends!

"I've never hidden anything from you, Darius. It was Veronica's own fault why she forced me to get her pregnant" she said.

"Oh, apparently you blame the woman. He's right to want a child from you. That's quite natural. Didn't you do it like it as much as you like it. Then, why is it that after the woman is pregnant you just leave. Where's your responsibility, Alex? Do you know how hard that woman's life was after your departure? You have to, Alex!"

Alex does not believe that his arrival looking for someone apparently brings a commotion between him and Darius.

My goal here is to find someone, not to make a fuss with Darius. This guy is as annoying as he used to be.

"It's none of your business, Darius! I'm not here to discuss Veronica, but-"

"Enough, Alex. It's true that you should know about that woman!" snapped Darius. The man was upset that Alex was too neglectful of his legal partner.

"That's Darius! Veronica is just the past. Why am I thinking about it again? She's an independent woman and I wouldn't worry about leaving her alone."

Darius wanted to get close to the man and beat him up. Let him be content to channel his anger.

"At least visit his grave and meet his daughter!" reply Darius.

Alex turned his body and looked towards Darius. The man discussed something he had never thought of.

"What do you mean the tomb and the daughter?" ask Alex. He went back to the couch.

"Veronica is dead. He left behind a daughter who should still be your responsibility, Alex," Darius replied.

Nearly twenty-nine years Alex left his pregnant wife. When he returned, he found out that his ex-wife had died.

Alex did leave Veronica, but she didn't divorce her right away. He waited for more than a year after the birth of the girl, and Alex sent her divorce papers. Right after that, Alex no longer knew the news.

"It's none of my business, Darius. It has been a long time, too. My goal is to come here because I'm looking for someone. Maybe now he's about thirty years old" he said.

"Who are you really looking for?"

Alex is looking for his son who was born from someone else's womb. But the woman always hid it. His departure was not without reason because the woman was angry with Alex. She doesn't accept that Alex's wife is pregnant. That's why she asked him to choose one of them. Losing his son or abandoning his wife. That woman was cruel to him. That's what changed Alex.

"My son, Darius. He is also my flesh and blood. If you say that Veronica's son is there too, you should keep your mouth shut. I don't need to know who he really is. I'm afraid that my son will be hurt by that woman" she replied.

"Which woman do you mean, Alex? I'll try to help you. But remember, at least look at your daughter. Give her responsibility. Poor him. There were no relatives close to him. You're the only person left after his mother's departure" explained Darius.

Alex ignored Darius' words. He was looking for his son's whereabouts. The woman said, after thirty years, then come and see her. Alex was completely confused. What exactly is the purpose of the woman?
