Resign Plan

Caroline, who is usually famous for being the friendliest person, is now trying to become another person. He even missed some people who greeted him. Until some of them said that Caroline had changed.

The rumors were heard to the ears of Lord Darius. The man finally called her. He wanted to talk to his secretary.

"Carol, what exactly happened to you? Everyone's talking about you!" said Mr. Darius in a very firm voice.

"I'm sorry, sir. There is a personal problem that makes me like this. Again forgive me, sir," he said.

"Carol, for the last five years you've been working really well. May I know what personal problems are happening to you? That's if you're willing so I can find a solution." Mr. Darius was unwilling because personal problems could affect the performance of employees like Caroline.

I'm sorry, Sir. Actually this matter is purely not from me, but from your own son. If William's still after me, I'm gonna quit this company.

"Sorry, Sir. I can't tell you that" Caroline said. Telling his problem to William in front of his papa is like committing suicide.

"Alright, Caroline. Prepare yourself for an out-of-town project in a few days. You will leave with William" said Mr. Darius.

It seems like the plan to avoid the man ends in a destiny that always brings him closer. Want to refuse, but no more entrusted people can take care of the project.

"Good, Sir. Can I go back to the room?" caroline asked after no more talk.

"Please!" answer to Mr. Darius.

Caroline was about to leave the CEO's room along with William and Jack. The eyes of the two of them were on Caroline, while Caroline did not care anymore about the two men's gazes.

The first man with a million lies. The second man with the category of CEO responsibility nicknamed the big-time playboy whose behavior makes others upset. Both of them made Caroline not care anymore. The focus is just to work.

"Pa, what's wrong with Caroline?" ask Jack. This man was much more concerned because there was hidden intent.

"He's got a personal problem, but he doesn't want to tell papa. Yeah, papa meant not to affect his performance." Mr. Darius answered his son's question while focusing on reading the file he had just obtained from Caroline.

A heart is feeling the pain of losing it a second time. Who else if not William.

Is this my problem with him? It felt like his attitude had turned cold like never before. Some of his co-workers also argue that way.

"Will, prepare yourself for a project out of town with Caroline," her papa said.

William seemed happy, while Jack immediately protested his father's attitude.

"Pa, why Will and Caroline? Why don't I go with Will?" ask Jack. The man deliberately wanted to keep Caroline away from him.

"Jack, if you two leave, the project will fail. Because you two always make a fuss," said the papa. There is no more debate between father and son.

While in Caroline's room, she was talking to her co-worker, Shirley.

"Shirley, what do you think if I resign?" ask Caroline.

Shirley, who was typing, stopped her work.

"Why do you want to resign, Carol? I have been so grateful to be working with you. You're a good person who would guide me to this, and__" Shirley purposely stopped her speech so Caroline would look up to her.

"Why don't you continue what you say?" ask Caroline. He looked at Shirley's bead.

"I'm the least willing person if you resign. Point no debate!" Shirley.

"I'm not sure I'll survive in the Austin Group" Caroline said, leading Shirley to look up at her.

"Is there anything that makes you feel depressed, Carol?"

Caroline nodded.

"Please, don't resign. I'll help you solve this problem. Tell me! We're looking for a solution together" Shirley said.

Shirley was a very lucky person to work with Caroline. Early on in, Shirley had always been the most overlooked person due to her strange behavior and rarely being able to get along with others. Slowly Caroline approached her, heard her complaints and then gave the girl input. Until finally, Shirley became a reliable employee to help Caroline work. If Caroline were to resign, there would be no one else to guide her but Caroline.

Caroline can open up to Shirley because the girl is her best friend other than the mother.

"I don't know, Shirley. Have you met Mr William?" ask Caroline.

Who does not know Mr. William. The first son of the Austin family was very handsome and valued by many women.

"Yes dong. He is special" Shirley replied enthusiastically. "Eh, why?"

"Shirley, please keep it a secret from anyone" whispered Caroline. The girl deliberately approached her co-workers to be more free to talk. Even though there were only two of them in the room. "Sir William is trying to get close to me and you know what the worst news is?"

Caroline's words confused Shirley. It should have been approached by Mr. William would have looked very happy, but Caroline instead behaved strangely and even planned to resign.

"You're weird, Caroline. Everyone was hoping that Mr. William would approach her, but why are you different?" Shirley.

"Oh come on, Shirley. Mr. William is married. Do you like it when I'm stamped as an actor?" caroline.

Shirley immediately covered her mouth with both hands. He could not believe that Lord Darius' eldest son was married.

"Eh, wait for Carol! I'm not the slow girl I used to be, huh. If Mr. William is married, when will Austin Group hold its wedding reception? Even the public doesn't know Mr Will is married?"

Shirley's words have a point. Why the Austin family didn't announce that their son was married. In fact, Mr. Darius was impressed to cover up his son's marriage.

You're right, Shirley. Actually, what do they want by not announcing their son's wedding?

"Then, how should I behave?" ask Caroline.

Shirley was thinking. Sometimes his cleverness imitates Caroline for interacting too often with her boss' secretary.

"Don't resign yet, Carol. Just act normal as if nothing happened. More importantly, dodge with Mr. Will alone. The others, don't ya?" Shirley.

And Shirley's words. Avoiding everyone would have made him labeled a freak, but how to avoid that William Austin?

Caroline was thinking. However, he had not had the chance to get his answer, Mr. Darius called out to him through the intercom.

"Yes, Sir?" caroline.

"Come to my room now! Bring the project files out of town. William will check it" said Mr. Darius.

"Good, Sir."

Mr. Darius ended his call. I don't think I've had any more problems with that guy. Caroline must not be complacent by William's appeal. He should be able to refrain from being tempted.
