Surprise Lewis

Today is a holiday. Caroline had promised to pick Shirley up and take her for a walk. Although the places they visit never change, they always enjoy them. Where else if not to the Mall.

"Wow, Carol. Tumben today you took me for a walk!" shirley.

"I'm just being happy, Shirley. I want to share it with you" he replied.

"Is this about Mr Will's mother's blessing?" ask Shirley.

"No, not about that. That woman won't give her blessing."

Shirley was truly grateful to have a friend like Caroline. The two of them went straight into the mall and started walking. Caroline first chose to go to the Supermarket to shop for monthly needs first.

"Carol, I just push your trolley, yeah," Shirley said.

"Why? Aren't you shopping?"

Shirley shook her head. "And I haven't paid anything yet."

"Hemm, don't be like that, Shirley. Oh yeah, grab a trolley and start shopping. I'll pay for it" Caroline ordered.

"Don't, Carol! I've been troubling you a lot."

"Please, don't refuse! You're my best friend. At least pick a little and buy."

Shirley obeyed Caroline. He hurried to pick up the trolley and started picking out some items. Caroline is just as busy right now. They walked through the whole supermarket to collect their groceries. When she finished, Caroline asked Shirley to wait for her at the cashier.

"Just wait at the cashier. I want to find one more thing" he said.

Before long, Caroline was already in line behind Shirley. After the cashier gave the payment amount to Shirley, Caroline asked her to be made one with her groceries.

"Make each other mine, brother. I'll pay" Caroline said.

"Well, miss," replied the cashier.

After shopping, Caroline invites Shirley to put her in the car first. So that when entering the restaurant, they are no longer complicated to bring their shopping bags.

After everything was done, Caroline took him back inside.

"What do you want to eat? I want to eat a steak" Caroline said.

"I'll just come, Carol. Understandably, I haven't eaten a steak in a long time either" Shirley joked.

"Alright, come. I have a nice restaurant subscription that provides a variety of steaks."

The restaurant that is intended specifically provides a variety of steaks. There, Caroline ordered two steaks and a drink. While waiting for the food to come, the two chatted first.

"Carol, if Mr. Will's mother had given you his blessing, would you have received his proposal?"

"I don't know yet, Shirley. I need an explanation from him first why he got divorced from his ex-wife. I have to anticipate what happens in the future. It could have been William's ex-wife suddenly coming and avenging William's actions to me."

Shirley thought of Caroline's words. It sounds like watching a fish soap opera floating when you hear such a story. Normally, her husband's ex-wife would act recklessly and try to reclaim what had belonged to someone else.

"Well, horrified too. Have you ever met Mr Will's wife, uh I mean his ex-wife?"

Caroline's memory returns at lunch with Lewis. He told me all the things that day. He also tells how Lewis helped him and also about how he first met the man.

"I'm interested in Mr. Lewis, Carol" Shirley said.

Caroline surprised. It turned out that Shirley was instead interested in the handsome man she was telling him about. Caroline herself was warned by her late mother.

They stopped the chat. The ordered steak came. They enjoy it while it's still hot. It feels great to enjoy a freshly cooked steak. There is a strange and very delicious sensation when eating it. There is no doubt about the taste.

Caroline finished her meal first. He immediately drank the lemon tea he had ordered. He quickly returned the glass he was holding. Caroline's eyes were perfectly rounded when she found the figure she had just talked about.

"Lewis?" his gerrick.

From afar, the man saw her and approached Caroline's seat. Actually the girl wanted to avoid him, but Shirley had not finished her meal yet, she could not bear to leave him alone.

"Hi, Carol. How are you doing? Long time no see" said Lewis.

Shirley, who focused on her food, turned her head for a moment to look at the form of the man greeting her co-worker.

"May I sit here?" lewis asked for approval.

After the commotion the other day, it felt like Caroline was uncomfortable meeting him again. Lewis looks even more violent than before. Wanted to drive the man away, but this is a public place.

"Please" answered Caroline.

Shirley had just finished her meal and immediately drank. For a while, let him be the third before getting his turn to speak.

"Eat already?" ask Lewis.

"As you can see. Here's my old dinner plate" Caroline replied.

"Oh, sorry. Maybe you'll come with me to eat again?" tawar Lewis's.

"Ehm, sorry Mister. My friend has eaten" said Shirley who began to look upset.

"Oh, apparently there's someone else here" Lewis said.

If it wasn't for Caroline, Shirley could have acted recklessly. Flush the man with water, for example.

"Lewis, tell me what's wrong? I have to go now. I don't have much time" Caroline said.

"Wait a minute, Carol! I want to apologize to you. I've done something wrong and I should be sorry."

Ck, you unstable man. When the day of his speech was already as painful as that. How can I trust him again.

"Don't waste my time. I have to take my friend home now. Come on Shirley, let's go first. Let this man have his own world" Caroline asked.

"Don't you want to ask me, why would I look like William Austin?" ask Lewis.

"I? You want to know who I really am?" Lewis is trying to play Caroline so that the girl does not leave her presence.

Caroline remained silent. He no longer cared what the man would say.

"I'm William Austin's cousin."
