The Rich Widow

The Rich Widow
The Arman Family

In a different place. Arman and Mrs Ira were relaxing in the television room. Arman focused on the television screen, while Mrs Ira was chatting with one of her best friends on her phone.

"Ah, yes. I'll try later. Do you know what it's like to have cravings in early pregnancy? Hmmm, it feels like something. I just can't do anything. Every day the work is just lying down while holding back nausea," said Mrs Ira while glancing at Arman who was still focused on the large glass screen in front of him.

While Mrs Ira was still talking, Arman suddenly patted her thigh repeatedly with round eyes staring at the television screen.

"Ira, Ira, look!" said Arman.

"What's clean, honey? You're a bother to me" said Mrs Ira with a slightly bent face.

"Look at the television! I-it's Amara, my son!" strangled Arman again with a stammer.

"Marrion?" Madam Ira immediately turned to the television and how surprised she was after seeing Amara become one of the stars of commercials on the television screen.

"That's Amara?" asked the woman with perfectly rounded eyes. He even forgot his best friend who was still chattering on the phone.

"Yes, Ra! I was shocked too. It turns out my son ...." Arman was silent and unable to continue his words. He covered his mouth with both hands. While his eyes are still focused on the advertisement with glassy.

"No way! How can Amara be a television commercial! Just know what your ex-wife in the village is about entertainment" he said rudely.

Mrs Ira could not accept that the little boy who was starring in an advertisement for a famous product throughout the country was the son of her husband.

"Yira? You still there?" ask the woman who was talking to Mrs Ira on the phone. He was confused after hearing Mrs Ira's speech that deviated from their topic.

"Ah, yes. I'm sorry, Rita! I gotta go. There's something I have to do" he replied by lying.

"But, Ra!" Not yet finished the woman said, Madame Ira has already decided on her call.

"Hhh, Ira!" infuriated the woman with a perfectly bent face.

Just as Mrs Ira put her phone on the table, Arman's phone suddenly rang. Arman hurriedly received the call, which turned out to be from Bu Ningsih.

"Yes, Mom?"

"Arman, take a look at it on TV. Your son is there. He's the star of the commercial, Arman! My God, I'm so proud to be on TV because my granddaughter can!" exclaimed Bu Ningsih without further ado.

He was so happy when one of his neighbors told him about Amara who is now an advertising star. Even proudly he recognized Amara as his granddaughter in front of the villagers.

"Mom saw it too? I saw it too, Mom. Honestly I feel so proud even though I'm not by her side." Arman smiled.

"Yes, Arman. Just saw it on television." Ms. Ningsih was silent for a moment and then spoke again.

"Ehm, Arman. Don't you intend to take Amara's custody from Nadira? Who knows, Amara will become a successful person. Right?" Suddenly Bu Ningsih's cunning intention came back to his mind.

"Come, Ma. I've never thought of that before" said Arman with a puzzled face.

"If I may suggest, yes. Mending just take Amara's custody from Nadira. After all, Amara is female and it is only natural that the woman is the custody of the father" said Bu Ningsih trying to give advice.

"Hmm, yes, ma'am. I'll think about it again." Arman immediately disconnected the call because he realized that Mrs Ira's expression had changed.

Madam Ira's face seemed to bend in annoyance. He really did not like to see the reaction of Arman and Bu Ningsih who he thought was too exaggerated to boast the figure of Amara.

In addition, he also disagreed if Arman took custody of Amara from Nadira. He does not want his life with Arman disturbed just because of the presence of the little girl.

Arman was silent for a moment while sighing deeply. He looked at the woman with a sad face.

"Honestly, I'm proud, Ra. At least my son's talent is channeled and about Amara, you calm down because I never thought at all to seize custody of Amara from Nadira," said Arman.

"Hhh, great! After all, if my son is a big boy, I'll make him a super model! Beyond your son," madam Ira.

Arman smiled wryly. "Yes, yeah. I believe that our son will be a super model just as you wish."

Madam Ira snorted in annoyance and then threw her face away.

A few months later.

Amara is becoming more successful. There have been many advertisements that he has done in such a short time. Not only Amara, Nadira also flooded the job. Until the coffers of money they make are even more.

Nadira invites Laras to work together, becoming an assistant who takes care of Amara's needs and schedule. While he can focus more on his work.

"Sir Nadira, this room is too narrow for us. Why don't you find a wider place so we can work more freely?" complained one of the employees who helped Nadira in his shop.

Nadira smiled wryly. "I've actually thought about it. But I think it's better this place is renovated, enlarged the room."

"Well, it can be, too, ma'am. Just buy vacant land on the left and right side of this place" said another.

"Yes, I'll try to meet the landowner next to this shophouse. Hopefully the owner is willing to sell it to me" replied Nadira.

Just then Andrew came to visit the shophouse. The man came without telling Nadira beforehand and made the woman a little surprised.

"Hi, everybody!" greet Andrew.

"Hi, Mr. Handsome!" said Nadira employees with a big smile staring at the handsome man.

"Mas Andrew, why didn't the tumben tell me first?" Nadira approached the man and invited him to sit in a chair in the room.

"Today I had some free time so I just stopped by here. By the way where's Amara?" Andrew glanced left and right, looking for the figure of the little girl.

"There's inside. Again playing the same mbak Laras," replied Nadira while pointing upstairs, where Amara and Laras are.

Andrew nodded slowly. "Oh yes, Nad. I'm actually here to take you to my house. I'd like to introduce you to my daddy. How, do you mind? If you mind, it's okay. We can postpone it another time."

Nadira noticed one by one the faces of the employees who helped him and they nodded their heads. "Go away, Ma'am. It's okay, really. Anyway we can be trusted," said one of them.

Nadira smiled faintly and looked back at Andrew. "Then Amara?"

"We take it together. My daddy is a child lover after all. I'm sure daddy would love to meet Amara" replied Andrew enthusiastically.

After thinking for a moment, Nadira finally nodded her head. "All right, I agree."

Andrew smiled with satisfaction. He was so happy that Nadira was willing to go with him.
