The Rich Widow
Debt Relief

"Geez, Arman!" Bu Ningsih shook his head. He could not believe that now his son had to deal with these ruthless leeches.

"Since when did you deal with the Bahri master and how much did you owe him?" ask Bu Ningsih.

"A little over a month ago, Mom. Exactly when I came here to borrow money from Mom. However, Mother could not give it and I resorted to taking that path" said Arman with his head bowed to the floor.

Ms. Ningsih exhaled a heavy breath. There was a hint of regret in his heart for not giving out a loan to Arman back then.

"number?"

"Twenty-five million, ma'am."

"Twenty-five million? Are you crazy, Arman! What kind of work do you dare to owe that much to the Bahri boss, ha!" furious Bu Ningsih.

"That's both debt and interest, ma'am. My debt is only 5 million and the rest is fines and interest that I have to pay to the Bahri courtiers. I had to, Mom. The circumstances that forced me to have to deal with them" explained Arman with teary eyes.

"Yes, geez! That loan shark's crazy. The debt of 5 million even became 25 million" said Bu Ningsih, shaking his head.

"Juragan Bahri is stalking me to pay it off tomorrow" Arman continued, rubbing his face. The man seemed frustrated thinking about his debts to the Bahri courtier.

"Then how do you pay for it?" ask Bu Ningsih.

"That's why I came here, Mom. Maybe you have a stash of money and I want to borrow that money to pay all my debts to the Bahri juror."

"Oh my God, Arman. I don't have that kind of money. Even this Mother's gold necklace if resold, the amount of money is not much. Oh yeah, didn't you ever tell me about your rich master. Why don't you try borrowing it?" bu Ningsih.

Arman shook his head slowly. "I can't, Mom."

"Why can't it? Oh yes, you will have a new motorbike and mobile phone bought by the woman, why not just sell it?" Ms. Ningsih tried to give her advice.

"I'm scared, Mom. I'm afraid Mrs Ira is asking for this stuff back. If I sell it and he asks for it back, what should I do?" Arman breathed a heavy sigh.

"Huh, you know! Think for yourself! Mom thought about it too. Described this solution and that, the camera does not want to," said Bu Ningsih while bending his face.

Arman breathed a heavy breath. "So you really can't lend me that money?" ask Arman to be sure.

"It can't be, Arman. I don't have that much money" said Ms. Ningsih.

Arman got up from his seat and the look on the man's face looked disappointed. "Well, I said it first, Mom."

"Yes. Be careful on the road."

That night Arman looked restless. His mind was completely confused. He was confused where else to look for money to return the money belonging to Juragan Bahri. He leaned against the wall of the room while staring at Nadira and Amara who were sound asleep on the shabby mattress.

Without realizing it, Arman's tears had already seeped out and soaked both of his cheeks. "I'm sorry, Nadira. Until now I haven't been able to make you happy. Our wedding ring until now has not been able to replace Mas," he said while gently stroking the top of Nadira's head.

Not felt, even the morning. Arman hasn't even closed his eyes for a moment. Nadira who used to get up early in the morning, gasped in shock when he saw Arman still sitting next to him with a leaning position on the wall of the room.

"Loh, is Mas Arman not asleep yet?" pekik Nadira with a surprised face looked at the husband.

Nadira was just a beaver. She believed what her husband said. "Yes, already. Then Nadira went to the kitchen first, yes. Take a shower and prepare breakfast for the. Didn't you go back to work today?"

Arman nodded slowly. "Yes, I'm working again today."

Nadira smiled and got up from his position. He left the main room and headed to the kitchen. Where he would perform his bathing ritual and then prepare breakfast for his small family.

A few hours later. After finishing cooking and bathing her little daughter, Nadira now waits in the kitchen, where they usually pass the time to eat together.

"Well, that's your dad." Nadira smiled broadly to welcome the arrival of Arman who was neat with an expensive shirt suit given by Mrs Ira.

"Again, Daddy!" call Amara while smiling looking at Arman who is now sitting next to her.

"By the morning too, dear." Arman rubbed the top of Amara's head affectionately.

"Come, Mas. Eaten breakfast," said Nadira while pushing a plate of fried rice slowly made in front of Arman.

Arman nodded and grabbed the fried rice. Just now he wanted to put the first mouthful into his mouth, suddenly there was the sound of the door being pounded very loudly.

Arman and Nadira were shocked. Amara even got frightened and hugged Arman's body with teary eyes.

"Who is that, Mum?" nadira asked with eyebrows that were clinging to each other.

Arman took off the spoon in his hand and carried Amara's tiny body into his arms.

"I don't know, Nadira. You guys wait here, let me go out to check on her" said Arman as he handed Amara into Nadira's arms.

Nadira nodded slowly. "Good, Mas."

"Arm! Hey, Arman! Out you!" There was a scream from the front yard of his house. The heavy voices are the voices of the two Bahri masters.

"Yes, God! It turned out to be Bahri's men! Have they gone crazy, it is still too early to collect the debt" Arman murmured as he peeked out from behind the glass of his house.

"We've tried calling your phone number, Arman! But it seems like you have no good faith at all. Your phone number is even deliberately deactivated so we can't contact you. Yeah, right!" connect the man with half a shout.

The neighbors to the left and right of Arman began to appear. They try to figure out what really happened at Arman and Nadira's modest residence that early.

"Hey, Arman! Get out! Or we'll destroy your hut!" yell at one of them.

"Don't! All right I'm out" replied Arman from inside the house. He immediately opened the door and approached the two men.

"Have you forgotten your promise, Arman?" firmly the man.

Arman shook his head. "No, Mas. I did not forget. I remember that today I had to return the money belonging to the Bahri courtier. But please give me until noon. I promise to pay it soon" replied Arman.

"Pay what, Mas?" Suddenly Nadira was behind Arman. The woman was shocked to learn that her husband was already in debt to the leech.

"Nadira, i-this is not what you think it is" Arman said as he tried to calm Nadira down.
