The Rich Widow

The Rich Widow
Arman Confession

"Mass? Why why?" Nadira is confused because Arman does not return his greeting. In addition, Arman also looked at her without wanting to look at her or their daughter, Amara.

"I'm fine" said Arman, who continued to step into their room.

Nadira would not believe it. He followed Arman into the room. Nadira approached the man and grabbed the face of Arman who had since continued to avoid looking at him.

"Don't, Nadira." Arman brushed Nadira off and tried to hide her face again. However, Nadira had seen everything and he panicked.

"Mas, what's your face? Who did this to you? You're fighting, aren't you?" Nadira who was so panicked, asked several questions at once that made Arman confused to answer him.

"Already, Nadira. I'm fine" he looked up again as he sat on the edge of the bed.

Nadira put the little Amara who had been in her cradle on the bed and sat next to her husband.

"What's okay, Mom? Look, your bruises are a lot! But look, here too" said Nadira as she searched Arman's entire body.

Arman was silent with a sad face staring at the wall of the room. His mind was tangled because there were too many problems that he had to face at the same time.

"Mas, be honest with me. Am I not your wife?" Nadira stroked Arman's arm gently. Trying to persuade Arman to tell the truth.

Arman breathed a heavy breath. He turned to Nadira and stroked his wife's cheek gently.

"Later to tell me everything. But not now, Nadira."

Nadira seemed disappointed that Arman did not want to share his story with him. However, she also could not force the man to tell a story, especially with the condition of her husband like that.

"Alright, but let me treat his wounds Mas, huh?" talk to Nadira again. Arman nodded and gave Nadira permission to treat her injuries.

Nadira rushes to the kitchen and then comes back with a cold compress for Arman. He slowly compresses parts of Arman's body that have bruised and gives him pain medication. Because there are some who swell due to the blow of the two men sangar.

"Oh my God, Mom! I'm sure that hit you more than one man. Right? How cruel they are," muttered Nadira while grunting in annoyance. Arman was silent. He nodded slowly and agreed to everything.

Nadira breathed out slowly. "What happened to Mas Arman. The more he gets here, the more secrets he hides from me" Nadira murmured inwardly.

I don't think time has shown at three in the afternoon. Arman was still sitting in the front room chair with a crumpled face. He holds while occasionally twirling his phone that has been deactivated.

Arman tried to avoid Mrs Ira who had been trying to contact her for most of the day. There were even hundreds of messages sent by the woman to him. I don't know what it is, Arman didn't know because he didn't dare to check it.

"Mas, why look? You should rest because tomorrow you have to work again, right? While Mas's condition is still like this," said Nadira trying to remind her husband.

"I can't sleep, Dira. My head hurts," he replied.

Arman glanced at the butut wall clock hanging inside the room. "I want to see my mom first. There's something I need to talk to him about" Arman continued, rising from his seat.

"Can I come?" nadira asked as she stared fixedly at the two netra Arman.

"Don't, Nadira. You better stay here with Amara. I'm afraid my mother is angry because our debts have not been paid to her. I don't want to hear Mom scolding you. Enough of me, you don't" said Arman, stroking Nadira's cheek gently.

"All right then."

Before Arman stepped away from him, Nadira spoke again. "Ehm, sorry, Mas. Didn't he say today Mas payjian? May I ask him because our debt in Bu Ani's stall has accumulated and Bu Ani wants us to pay it immediately" continued Nadira.

Arman looked confused. He did not know what to answer, while all his salary had been taken by the Bahri boss.

"Look, Dira. Because she was so busy, Mrs Ira forgot to give up my salary. But you take it easy, just now Mrs Ira called me and promised to give me my salary tomorrow, along with the bonus. And ...."

Arman grabbed his wallet and gave the rest of the money given by the Bahri boss to Nadira. "Take this for a while. Tell the shop owner's mom that we'll pay for it tomorrow."

Nadira stared at the blue piece of money while smiling wryly. "Yes, that's it, Mas. Let me tell the shop owner's mother."

Arman slapped Nadira's shoulder. "Yes, already. I'm leaving first, yeah."

"Yes, Mas. But remember, don't be long. Later tonight," replied Nadira.

"Yes." Yeah." Arman rushed away and drove his new motorbike to the residence of the mother who was not far from his residence.

While Nadira was still silent in the doorway while watching the man leave until he disappeared from his sight.

"May Mas Arman be okay. I don't know why I don't feel good. Especially after seeing the bruises on his body. During this time Mas Arman has never had problems with anyone, so it is impossible that he has an enemy" muttered Nadira softly.

After a few minutes, Arman arrived in front of the Ningsih Bu residence. He parked his new motorbike and entered the simple house.

"Mom?" call Arman while dropping down on the front room couch.

Bu Ningsih who was cool tidying up his room, immediately came out after hearing Arman's voice calling out to him.

"Arman?" mumbling Bu Ningsih as she stepped out of her room.

"Loh Arman, what's wrong with you?" pekik Bu Ningsih after seeing how Arman's condition. He looked anxious and immediately sat down next to his son.

"What happened to you, Arman? Why is your face so bruised, huh?" asked Bu Ningsih while touching the bruise on the corner of Arman's lips gently.

"Aw! Slowly, Mom. Sick," cried Arman while grimacing in pain.

"Mom, actually I want to borrow money from Mom to pay my debts to the Bahri boss" Arman continued without making small talk.

"Who? Bahri Juragan? Oh, my God, Arman! Don't you know who the Bahri master is? He's a loan shark! The leech! Many have been victims and now why are you dealing with that person, Arman!" said Bu Nining furiously staring at Arman.

"I know, Mom. And I was forced to do it for the sake of my child and my wife" replied Arman with an increasingly disheveled face.
