50. Duels
Everyone around was shocked by what they heard. Especially the students who had fought Ray before. They knew that his previous ranking was marked 250+.
This new information has just made the fight even more interesting.
When Ray sent a dueling request to Sebastion, Ray could only smile to himself. Now Sebastion was in front of everyone, so he had nowhere to run let alone refuse to make the match.
"You think you can beat me, just because you can beat Eric? There's a big difference between rank nine and rank two and I'll show you now."
Ray just stood there quietly.
One of Sebastion's friends beckoned to start the fight. The man counted 3..2. but before he reached the first count, Sebastion was already moving towards me.
He played dirty from the start, but it didn't matter to Ray. Sebastion immediately shot forward with his attack. Most of the students would probably not be able to dodge the attack this fast.
Ray just twisted his body avoiding the punch. As Ray rotates, Ray also makes an attack, the tip of his wooden sword only hits Sebastion's cheek leaving a scratch.
Ray quickly jumped back after making an attack.
"You're just lucky to be able to attack me, but it's too shallow you'll never be able to defeat me with just this."
Sebastion advanced again this time by exerting more effort in his attack but he only made the same move as the first. Ray once again scratches Sebastion's face with the tip of his wooden sword.
"You'll never win with a weak attack like this."
Sebastion constantly attacked me while holding back his anger. Every attack Sebastion made, Ray always avoided it at the last second and counterattacked, and made sure Ray only used the tip of his weapon.
To the student watching it must have looked like I was overwhelmed, all I could do was dodge and swing my weapon at him hoping it would hit him.
"So far Ray has done well to avoid all Sebastion attacks, sooner or later Ray will be hit by Sebastion attacks, why he has not tried stronger attacks" Kyle said.
"I think you've misjudged all of this" Slyvia said.
"What do you mean?"
"Look."
The fight had been going on for ten minutes now and only Sebastion had carried out the attack. Suddenly, Sebastian stopped as blood dripped from his eyebrows into his eyes.
As Sebastian stood there, the students were shocked by what they saw. Sebastion's face and clothes were covered in blood. Scratches have been seen all over his face and body. It looked like he had been mauled by a tiger.
This was Ray's plan from the start, if Ray expended more manpower and effort to beat him, it would make the match even faster, the ranking system would declare Ray the winner.
The punishment was too lenient for Sebastion. Ray will continue to torment him slowly as he did the monk, as Ray is unable to attack him after the game is over for everyone, Ray can only do this to continue tormenting him.
With a light scratch like this, Sebastion will continue to be stung by the pain of being exposed to scratches constantly.
The ranking system is designed to simulate real-life combat. If Ray inflicts a wound that would be fatal with a wooden sword, then the system will declare me the winner.
"It's my turn now" said Ray.
I started to walk slowly towards Sebastion, Sebastion was getting tired from the loss of blood and running out of steam due to the attack he was doing.
Sebastion's face showed relief as he thought he had managed to withstand Ray's attack. Right before his eyes, my sword seemed to disappear and made the sword held by Sebastion split in two. The attack hit his lips in the middle. Sebastion now looks like he has two mouths.
"You're baj*ng@n, I'm not forgiving you."
His lips were torn off making it hard to understand what he had just said. But knowing his personality, he tries to threaten Ray with his father's name.

"It can't be how Ray learned it," said the monk.
Bikau woke up in his room and heard about the fights that took place in the field. He worries about Ray and wants to stop him, but by the time the monk has reached the field, the fight has already begun.
The monk was surprised by the skill he had just seen and so were the other black sash knights. It was a skill that was not taught to them but only shown.
By the time their first lesson began, master K had only shown them some skills that a black knight would eventually learn.
One of those skills, was the Phantom attack. The attack Ray just used on Sebastion. Mr. K only demonstrated it once but right now Ray is using it.
"He has become strong in just a short time" Gary said.
Gary is confused as to what to feel, he doesn't know whether to be happy for Ray or Angry as his Rival gets further and further ahead of him.
Everyone in the crowd could now see who the winner of the fight was, but Ray was unwilling to stop attacking. He continued to attack Sebastion with just the tip of his sword.
Sebastion was already unable to accept more attacks, He wanted to give up, but every time he would say those words, as if Ray could read his mind, Ray would attack his mouth.
The students only thought of one thing while watching this massacre. Ray is a human monster.

Again.again.. Ray thinks Sebastion should suffer more. With every attack Ray makes, Ray will always remember the past.
When Ray sees Sebastion's bloody face, Ray feels no sympathy at all.
Sebastion deserves this, he and the monk are students in the same school, they both fight for the same reasons, they are even the same race. So why, why would they hurt their fellows just to become stronger.
As Ray continued to attack, Ray heard someone shouting from the crowd, a voice he could recognize.
"Quite Ray. please stop" said the monk in tears.
Ray sees the monk's sad face but Ray doesn't understand why he shed tears, isn't this what he wants, to take revenge? Who cares what happens to these human scum.
As Ray stops his attack and turns to look at the monk. Sebastion was finally able to speak.
"I've finished..I stopped this match!"
The fight has ended and the ranking position is updated. Communicator Ray now displays number two.
