THE NOURA VAN KEMMERS

THE NOURA VAN KEMMERS
Nimah and Sadeli

"There are many stories of sadness in this house. Starting from the incident on December 23, 1930, then continued other poignant stories. From the calamity that befell my family, then I who then died in the back pavilion to the torture of soldiers who were taken captive by KNIL soldiers," while brushing his hair, Noura said again.

"Your life before the disaster must have been very happy right?" my many.

"Very. I never imagined my life would end like this. I got separated from my family and died at a young age. There are still many dreams I want to achieve."

"By the way, where exactly is that room? you just said near the pavilion," I asked.

"On the right side of the pavilion. In the past there was a swing and fountain as well as a garden chair that extends along the expanse of grass. It's also one of my favorite places besides the front page."

"After the war of independence was over. The building of this house was left alone. Blank. Uninhabited. Some people who work in this house, no one dared to enter this house. Nimah and Sadeli left this house exactly a week after I died."

"I cried and begged them not to leave me alone in this house. But they can't hear me. I don't want to be alone here. Still imagined the moment they packed their things while crying."

"I cried out with all my might, begging them once more not to leave me. But still, they didn't listen. From then on, I realized that I was a different person. I've been detached from my rough body."

The flashback

"Bang Sadeli and I leave a farewell permit. Forgive me also my husband if this has been a lot wrong. We both can't take care of Non. Not quiet there. I hope there's news soon about Non's family" Nimah wiped her tears.

After packing, they left the house. The Van Kemmers house where they worked. The heavy hearts of Nimah and Sadeli left the house.More Mr. and mistress Van Kemmers was very good to them as well as to other workers.

There were five workers in the house. Nimah and her husband, Sadeli, then there is Zainab and Juhariah and also Sudarman who is an assistant to Mr. Van Kemmers. On December 23, 1930, Zainab and Juhariah were absent from the Van Kemmers family home.

On the morning of December 23, they said goodbye to Mrs Van Kemmers for permission not to work first because their grandmother died. Coincidentally, they are both brothers. They live not far from the Van Kemmers family home. Sometimes they stay, sometimes they go home in the afternoon. Like Sudarman, they live in small villages located behind housing estates.

After the Van Kemmers abduction, only Nimah and Sadeli survived. Sudarman disappeared somewhere, Zainab and Juhariah decided not to work anymore. The atmosphere of the Van Kemmers family home was still gripping when Johans Alois' men were still back and forth entering the house.

" yes. Maybe this is a severance for us," Sadeli said.

Armed with the ring and a small gift from Dr. Hans and Mr. Frans Winhern, Nimah and Sadeli left the house with teary eyes.

"Hey, don't go. Please Nimah, Sadeli. Don't leave me here. I don't have anyone else!" noura's screams were roaring even louder.

"Come Nimah. The longer we look at the house, the harder we leave the house" Sadeli led his wife out the gate. They returned to their hometown of Tjinere (Cinere).

After that the Van Kemmers family home was under the supervision of Mr Frans Winhern and doctor Hans. Police are still looking for traces of the Van Kemmers family kidnapping as well as the culprit.

Flashback off

"Who is Mr Frans Winhern?" my many.

"He's my Papa's best friend. His house is at the end of an alley near the turn. Not far from here. I can show you the house" Noura replied.

At the end of the alley near the turn is the house of Bu Indah. Is that what Noura means?

"When my family's abduction occurred, Mr. Frans Winhern and his family were not in Depok. They're visiting their son's house in Bandung."

"He was very surprised to hear about my family. Especially when I died. He deeply regrets the incident. When the incident happened, the atmosphere around here was indeed very quiet. No neighbors or passers-by can help us."

Seriate.
