Chapter 101: The Ancient Book and its Traces (Part 2)

What does this mean?

Roland rubbed his finger over the handwritten line, did the original owner of this ancient book also have to fight against those monsters in the wild lands?

He shifted his gaze further down and continued reading –

Even so, Roland repeatedly checked the contents of the book, but he was still unable to find any relevant content.

The Church has established their headquarters in the North, since the end of the war of faith.

The base was built to defend against a huge crack in the Unpassable Mountains against demonic beasts.

Later, they simply built a fortress on the Hermes plateau, and called it the New Holy City.

These two cities were now connected together, one at the plateau and the other was located at the lowlands, but both were used to withstand the attacks of demonic beasts and not Demons.

After all, he had never heard of a place called Taquila before. If all this is true, the Church has no reason to hide it.

According to the church history books, they had always been able to withstand the attacks from demonic beasts, and were also able to achieve great victories in their battles against the witches.

This was all explained in great detail as if they were afraid that anyone would forget their great merit.

But compared to the confrontation against Devils, how could they still treat the matter of demonic beasts and witches to be more worthy of being specialized?

Roland only knew that the Church had an Army of Judges, but he had never heard of the God's Punishment Army –

He bit again on his snack, licked his lips and then continued,

Nightingale curled her lips.

“And then, they started gathering more witches. Yet it seems that their hideout was accidentally leaked to the Church,

which then brought a large army to besiege the meeting place. Only twenty witches could escape, which was less than half.

That was when Cara decided to search for the Sacred Mountain. So they established the Witch Cooperation Association, with the aim of finding the Holy Mountain as their highest priority.”

After hearing this story, he once again began to think about it, studying the mysteries while knowing so little was too troublesome.

even more so when it was history mixed with legends, leaving a void in his mind.

The ancient book did not mention the year of its writing, nor did any other major wars mentioned in other history books he had read.

In the park, the witches train according to their training program. Now that his group of magicians had grown to twelve, it was finally time to establish an organization.

In its conception, the organization does not need any programs or guidelines.

It was only designed to facilitate the management of the witches and the abilities they could use, its function would be similar to the future generations of the industry association.

The rules of the organization will also be as simple as possible, there will only be two rules:

Do not use your ability to violate the laws of the territory. And, It is forbidden to use your ability to circumvent the law.

At first Roland wanted to use the three laws of robotics, limiting the abilities of the witches by not letting them hurt

or attack ordinary people and so on, but then he thought that it was actually unnecessary.

Their abilities are the same as weapons. When faced with danger, there was no difference between using a gun or a magician's ability to defend himself.

And deliberately emphasizing the difference between witches and commoners, the gap between these two groups would only get further and further.

So it won't be illegal, he can't avoid his responsibilities as a scientist and an engineering dog, he has to express himself in the most concise way.

As for the name of this organization, Roland had long since found a good one. His new collective name is

"Witch Union's".
