The Legend Of Samurai

The Legend Of Samurai
Ch 21: Beginning

"The sword art is the art of killing..." Akuma said as he landed several attacks on Kimura's body, several times with a wooden sword.

The two were now in a large wasteland, adjacent to a black water river, about tens of meters away that separated the two from the river. Akuma chose this as a training ground, because according to him this place is rarely there are residents who roam here and according to him with a large area will be more free for them to move.

"But..." Further.

"The sword is only a tool to help someone who learns the art of sword to achieve his ambitions, and I am now training you now to instill early on that killing instinct upon you."

After saying so, Akuma stopped hitting Kimura. Kimura who was seen, his body had been filled with bruises was currently looking down in the position of his wooden sword as a buffer.

His eyes looked teary wanting to let out his sadness.

"Cry, let out all the sadness that is buried in you." Akuma.

"I-I can't, Cake.." said Kimura, sobbing.

"You can, if you want to be the strongest there must be consequences. And this is where Grandfather is, being your guide so that you can accept all pain and then become immune to grief." Akuma tried to provide useful motivation for him.

"I'm sorry for the training Grandpa gave you. However, this is what Grandpa can teach you to make you develop more in the future."

Kimura still remained in his position, while his Grandfather continued to speak at length and width as if he would never stop.

"There's still a lot of work to do, son. To reach your goal, this is just the beginning because I want to see your initial abilities. Tomorrow will be the first day, you will start very hard training. Are you ready! Akuma asked with a cry out tone wanting to spread his spirit.

The narrative that his grandfather gave him, he heard very well and stored it into his memory to try to make it into a memory embedded in the brain.

"Ready...I am ready for whatever situation will befall my life" he said slowly, standing up.

"I'll be strong. Cake!" Kimura ran to attack with a wooden sword in his hand.

His grandfather who saw the spirit only smiled faintly, while fending off his attacks with great ease. One thing that Kimura was unaware of and only Akuma knew about it, right now on both shoulders was a red aura like a blazing flame, albeit on a small scale.

"You are unique, son." Akuma muttered as he continued to fend off the powerless attack from Kimura.

Akuma knows that the child he already considers like a grandchild does have talent, but he is very skeptical not to know that the talent he has is very unique.

The hallmark of a Samurai is a power of a slash, but according to him Kimura is different from others, gentleness, speed, and effectiveness in attack, that was the latent talent that made him different from the Samurai who were in this world.

"You are my most unique disciple among the thousands of samurai I have trained." Akuma muttered again, although he could fend off the child's attack easily, but compared to the other children his age, Akuma felt this child was far above him.

"A pretty impressive speed, son." Akuma smiled faintly as he jumped back.

"Thank you for the compliment. Cakes."

In that brief fight, Akuma saw that his grandson's face looked very tired.

"But that doesn't mean, this beginning exercise is over. Remember, Grandpa said what to you, that you should touch Grandpa with your new attack that Grandpa assumed you escaped this beginning..."

The rising sun from the eastern horizon, Akuma and Kimura have been training without a long break. They just rest to breathe. And to this day it has not stopped.

After Akuma said so, the two resumed training, which actually took the form of a task that Kimura had to do.

Some time passed, or it could be said that a few hours had passed, because it was seen that the sun had been at its peak point which signified just waiting for time to soon the sky turned into darkness. Kimura with a severed breath - broke off and sweat soaked all over her body, constantly still trying to touch her Grandfather's body using her attacks.

"It looks like we're gonna do this all the time even in the dark."

A second after his words came out of his mouth, Kimura in a zigzag move that he could not see clearly, had been in front of him brandishing his wooden sword right at the direction his heart was in.

"It seems I have to take back my words..." His voice smiled faintly with a tone of words that implied a hint of admiration.

Kimura, whose head was lowered and still in an attacking position, raised her head to look at her Grandfather, "I've escaped and can become Grandpa's student" he said with a smile.

"Of course." Akuma's brief reply, while stroking Kimura's hair.

Continue his words,

"Let's go home..." He said, bringing.

Arriving at his hut, the two of them immediately rushed to clean the body, because of a day of sweating.

After cleansing the body, due to the fatigue both of them felt from the continuous exercise that day, they both then lay on the bed, and then lay down, want to straighten and to relax the joints of their body due to the completion of the exercise.

Tuk...Tuk...

"Master. Are you inside!" Someone's call sounded coming from the front door of the hut.

Akuma and Kimura who heard that, reflexes rose from his sleep wanting to know who the owner of the source of the knock and sound was.

Kimura who first got out of bed first, then opened the door.

Nozomi who was in Yamaguchi's arms was the one currently before Kimura's eyes.

"Please come in, sir." Akuma said, standing behind Kimura, when he found out that the guests were Yamaguchi and his grandson Nozomi.

Kimura immediately gave way for his guests to enter.

Yamaguchi then stepped his foot in. While walking past Kimura, Nozomi snorted softly at him while turning away an annoyed face.

"I haven't visited your place in a long time, sir." Yamaguchi said after being in front of Akuma.

Akuma just smiled in response. "We'd better sit down first, 'cause I think tonight's gonna be a long talk." Akuma smiled faintly as his hand gestures allowed him to sit on the wooden chair.

Yamaguchi nodded, then sat down on the wooden chair. Still Nozomi is in his lap.

"Master. My arrival here just wanted to introduce my granddaughter to him." Yamaguchi's views fell on Kimura.

Nozomi who heard that, immediately pulled his Grandpa clothes. Her face was a little embarrassed.

Akuma who saw that just smiled and was a little confused. "I don't understand what the words mean, sir."

"It's hard to explain, sir. My granddaughter is too labile." His whisper, while winking one eye at Akuma.

Akuma soon found out where this conversation was headed, immediately calling out the name that was the main role of the situation. "Kira..."

Kimura was standing in silence looking at them as soon as he came, after hearing his name mentioned.

"What's up, Cake," he said slowly.

"Try introducing yourself to your sister." Akuma.

Kimura was misbehaving her Grandfather's words. You see, he did not know how to begin the introductory interaction between the two.

Akuma, who saw his granddaughter, looked puzzled from the look on his face, immediately said. "Tell me your name."

Kimura immediately followed his Grandfather's direction, he reached out and said his name as the beginning of the introduction.

"Hi, my name is Kimura, and may I know your name" he said, extending a hand.

"Hmmm..." Nozomi returned his hand while still turning her face.

Nhereinafter...,

"I thought you knew my name."

"My grandson's name is Nozomi Okuhara. You can call her Zomi." Yamaguchi.

After the introduction, Kimura asked himself to go back to sleep because he felt that tomorrow his body should be in shape when doing exercises.

"I'm here, not just to get to know my grandson, but there's something I want to tell you, sir. I heard that kid named Kimura, you're going to train?" Ask Yamaguchi.

"Yes, Sir. I decided to train him because the talent in him is so high, it would be useless not to train him to fire his talent." Reply Akuma.

Yamaguchi nodded, then said again. "My arrival was also related to her training. Me and Damato also wanted to take part in training him."

"I'm so proud of my granddaughter when she was trained by a Samurai like you, sir." Akuma.

"Thank you, Sir." Reply Yamaguchi.

After that, they resumed the conversation the two discussed other things. Time seemed to pass so quickly that it seemed that time now showed it was midnight.

Yamaguchi then asked to retreat to return to his residence, as Nozomi had now fallen asleep in his arms. So he had to take his grandson back to his parents.
