The Legend Of Samurai

The Legend Of Samurai
Ch 1: Uesugi Kimura - Klan Uesugi

Several centuries ago, samurai sprang up in the Meiji Empire, and to this day still spear the defense of the empire, when some tried to mess up.

Nevertheless, there are also those who use their profession as a samurai: to become robbers, soldiers of the noble elites, or establish colleges and clans.

Below the horizon of the sky, the sun shone on the thousands of teenagers who were practicing. The thousands of children were disciples of the Uesugi Clan. The clan is very popular today, because it was caused in the last few decades, every time in the tournament held a race that is specifically for the disciples of each clan followed suit, he said, It was this clan that managed to come out victorious.

The sect of the Uesugi Clan is very large they have many Bamboo Villas for the disciples or teachers (Sensei) who teach here to stay. Under the roof of one of the Bamboo Villas is seen a boy who began to grow up as a teenager was practicing playing his wooden sword, he trained alone.

"I must be strong! I have to be strong..!" The boy said with sweat that had soaked his whole body.

The boy's name was Uesugi Kimura - A 9-year-old boy had a sharp nose and white skin, his hair was short and randomly different from other children. He continued to hit the wooden samsak in front of him using the style that had been taught by his father.

At the entrance of this Bamboo Villa, stood a black-haired man who was shoulder-length, he was wearing the typical black clothing robe of the Uesugi Clan, complete with a katana and a wakizashi each slung around his waist. His name was Uesugi Hanbei Maeda he was the father of Kimura.

He then walked over to his son.

"Kimura, a samurai must also rest." Hanbei said out of pity to see his exhausted son.

"I must be strong and be the pride of my father." replied Kimura while hitting the wooden samsak in front of him.

Hanbei just fell silent, I don't know how many times he came here and asked his son to rest.

"Then I'll have someone bring you breakfast and resources for a minute."

After saying so, he immediately left Kimura alone.

Kimura only nodded back in response to her father who was not where he was standing.

Resources are indeed very meaningful for someone who wants to become a Samurai (Bushido), because it has the property to strengthen the bones and bodies of the Samurai

Kimura's father was an Elder of the Clan Laws, and was one of the greatest Elders in the Uesugi Clan. In total there were dozens of samurai who served as Elders here, out of all the Elders Hanbei entered the top 10 greatest Elders in this Clan.

In the samurai world, levels had to be determined in order to know one's strength.

If one wishes to become an official Samurai, one gets various tasks from the Klan. So when he was 13 years old he had to do genpuku (Election ceremony) in order to become an official samurai "not illegal". The boy who underwent genpuku got a wakizashi and an adult name to become an official Samurai.

Wakizashi is similar to a katana, but shorter and has a thinner blade compared to a katana.

The advantage of wakizashi is that it can cut targets more powerful than katana but the disadvantage is that it cannot be used in time-consuming battles especially when facing opponents who use katana, but also when facing the katana, wakizashi will break.

In determining the level of a samurai must be seen from various sides. Examples include bone quality, inner strength, speed, and slash strength. With that is the level of a samurai divided into various.

- For Her Day

Every morning Kimura always came out of his Bamboo Villa to just run in the field of the Clan Sect. This has become a routine for him because it is useful to train stamina.

"Hey all of you, look at that boy!" Excited one of the male students who was walking on the field pointed towards Kimura.

This child was named Tanaka Akai, he came from a noble family that had a close relationship with the Uesugi Clan.

All his friends turned their heads in the direction Akai was telling them.

"That's Kimura the weak boy..." The other child added.

Everyone just smilingly nodded back at Akai.

He then walked behind Kimura in a way to settle down, then kicked his leg.

"Baahh..." Kimura said with a face that first hit the ground.

Kimura woke up with sand on part of her face and looked back. As he had guessed before, who else if not that child that every time he came out of the Villa was always disturbed by him.

A year ago, Kimura was training with other students. However, because he was often humiliated and disturbed he stopped practicing with the other students. At one point, his father had seen the treatment he received by other students, and that was where he intended to train alone under the guidance of the Father.

Ha.ha...

Akai and the others laughed when they saw Kimura fall to the ground and saw him wake up with a face of pain.

"I originally intended to go to the main hall to practice. However, I accidentally saw you here, my brain then found an idea to bother you..."

Haha....

Their laughter grew louder, looking at the expression of Kimura that they found funny.

But, suddenly the sound of their laughter came to a halt with expressions showing fear.

Kimura who was astonished to see them all lowered his head as if frightened, then turned around

look at their fear.

Under a tree, Hanbei was looking at them with a sharp and cold eye.

Kimura was currently feeling mixed feelings. On the other hand, he was proud of his father's attention, on the other hand he was also disappointed, because he showed his weakness in front of the Father.

Hanbei then walked towards them.

Akai who saw that was getting more and more frightened, without him noticing his pants were wet.

"All of you I'm authorized to draw water in the well, quick!" hanbei orders in a pretty cold tone.

"Execute Hanbei-Sensei!" Answer them all at the same time.

Seeing their departure, Hanbei immediately stroked Kimura's head with a smile and said, "Let's go home son..."

Kimura just nodded slowly and held his father's hand

the Main Hall of the Klan

After carrying out the punishment given by Hanbei, they immediately went to the main hall to practice.

"Where have you been?!" Tanya Tanaka Yoshi who looked a bit angry.

Akai and Yoshi share the same surname, Tanaka. Tanaka was a Noble Family that had close ties to the Uesugi Clan. The Tanaka family every year, always sending resources and training supplies to the Klan.

"Pardon us teachers, while on our way to be punished by Elder Hanbei." Akai said with a disjointed breath because on the way here he ran.

Yoshi frowned, wondering why his disciple was punished by an Elder who was known to rarely interact with someone, but suddenly punished a child of his student.

"Indeed on what basis did Elder Hanbei punish you?" Ask his teacher again.

Akai and the others looked at each other for a while, before then saying, "We also don't know what the reason is, Elder Hanbei punishes us teacher..."

Akai is forced to lie, if he tells the truth that he often annoys the son of Elder Hanbei. Thus, he had to be forced out of this Clan.

Yoshi's emotions slightly rose when he heard his disciple's words.

"It is not proper for a man like him to punish a disciple whose strength is far below him." Yoshi said inwardly as he held back to his growl.

Uesugi Hanbei Maeda and Tanaka Yoshi were once one generation they both always compete to be the best. Nevertheless, it remained that Hanbei had always been a rank 1 disciple every year.

The peak of Ke an Yoshi's envy also occurred when Hanbei was inducted into the Clan's law elder, while he was only inducted as an Elder who taught the disciples of the new generation.

"You guys please join your other friends, while you Akai come with our teacher to the Hanbei Elder." Tanaka Yoshi.

Akai's face instantly changed upon hearing his teacher's words. He was like he was lost in a lightning strike.

"Well, is there a problem...?" Tanaka Yoshi asked seeing the change on his student's face.

"Ti.it's okay teacher." Akai replied that it looks like a confusion.

"Then let's rush over to Elder Hanbei's place to hold his answer..."
