The Legend Of Samurai

The Legend Of Samurai
Ch 19: The Sound of the Knock

The little boy came to meet Akuma and hugged him, Nozomi also became one of the ones who embraced. Kimura alone of all the children who did not move seici. Her feelings returned to relief when she saw the arrival of her Grandfather in good health without the slightest injury.

It is clear, that Akuma is very dear to the residents and children who are still under the age of teenagers. Although, they did not know that their Grandpa-Grandmother was kidnapped by him. The secret is kept tight by Akuma, but Ohori becomes the second person other than Akuma to know the secret, as she is a first-generation citizen, the same age as Grandpa - their grandmother who died. Yamaguchi and Damato are the second generation.

Akuma stroked the children's heads, so that they could get satisfaction from the love they gave back.

"Go ahead, Grandpa wants to go through..." Akuma said in a soft tone to the children who blocked his path.

All the children who swarmed him immediately scattered, each of them returned to his parents. Meanwhile, Nozomi ran towards Yamaguchi who seemed to be struggling to get ready to hold him.

"Grandfather must be doing bad today..." Say Yamaguchi while touching Nozomi's nose with her index finger.

"Nozomi, don't do naughty shit, Cake." She said with a thin, sweet smile on her tiny lips.

"That's there..." Nozomi.

"That kid's a naughty cake." He said pointing at a little boy.

Yamaguchi frowned, then followed the direction of his grandson's index finger. His eyes looked at a little boy who had met him before.

"Why is this sweet Grandpa's granddaughter, saying that to him?" Yamaguchi asked, a little curious to hear his grandson's answer.

"Like Kek, Nozomi asked her to meet...However, the boy did not return Nozomi's invitation!" He answered while grunting towards Kimura.

Yamaguchi just smiled at his grandson's behavior, which was different from most children his age who were in this village.

"Later Grandpa will introduce you to him, okay..." Yamaguchi.

"Ti-don't want...Not want!" Reply Nozomi while covering her face with her two tiny hands. He then asked to get down from Yamaguchi's sling, and ran to his two Elders who were standing not far from him.

Meanwhile, Akuma had now been near Kimura. For some reason, Akuma felt the same feeling that Kimura felt. The majority's sense of relief filled her heart and feelings when she saw the boy she already considered to be the grandchild.

"Miss Ohori, I thank you very much, for taking care of all the citizens and especially my grandchildren." Said Akuma, whose words were addressed to a middle-aged woman standing near Kimura.

"Same - same, Mr. Akuma. After all, it's my job to take care of my granddaughter." Reply Ohori with a low tone of speech - as low as low.

Ohori felt that this was already her permanent duty, as this was all she could do to the citizens.

Akuma only nodded back in response. He then moved stepped into the center or middle of the entire ground of this hut.

"I am the leader of this village." Said slowly. However, it was heard by the entire citizens, as he used a little qi to enlarge the range of his voice.

"Wind to tell people who are thinking about the fate of their plantations. I reiterate, so that we take on royong and together make back what we have made before. In the warehouse, there are still stored vegetable seeds that can be bred into a lot and are worthy of consumption. With patience and perseverance we will surely return to the state as before, with abundant food." Obviously Akuma, at the time of the charisma speech and his wife radiated out.

On the other hand Damato was a little amazed at his calmness and leadership.

"Ck, no way!" Said Damato as he stepped his foot out, he wanted to return to his residence.

Shortly after making a speech like that of an Emperor. Akuma and Kimura and the rest of the residents left this evacuation hut and returned to their respective places.

Day Night...

At nightfall, as usual, darkness prioritizes the atmosphere in this village. Although, a little moonlight shone through the ravine hole that was not far above this village.

Nevertheless, the gripping and mystical atmosphere is very felt enveloping the entire area of this village.

Kimura is currently lying on a wooden bed, looking at the ceiling of the hut has become his regular activity every night arriving, during his stay here. Meanwhile, his Grandfather was currently away already as early as afternoon and had not returned until this moment.

Dukes..Dukes..Dukes..Dukes..

A knock-like sound that came out of nowhere, suddenly invaded within this hut. Kimura ignored the sound, because according to him from what his sense of hearing heard, the origin of the sound was likely from a lizard that was attached to the roof.

However, the longer and more Kimura ignored the voice. The volume of the sound that sounded like a knock was getting bigger, to the point of disturbing it.

"Where did that sound come from?" Kimura asked against herself, as it was obvious that no one was nearby.

Kimura then got up from the position of her bed, then stood up and opened the door, "Nobody..."

He then calmed himself down, and focused himself, in order to hear the direction the voice was coming from. Kimura slowly walked in the direction of her ears which started to detect about where the sound was coming from.

Dukes..Dukes..Dukes..Dukes..

Kimura stopped right in front of an old-looking wooden cabinet. Different from the other prabotan that are in this hut. Because the wooden cabinet was located at the very corner of the hut. As deliberately stored there, so that it is difficult to see by someone.

The wooden cabinet continued to move, as in it was someone deliberately shaking it. Kimura who was curious about the contents in the wooden cabinet, then opened it.

The shock made little Kimura gasp in shock. He saw in the wooden cabinet there was a wooden box that was silver and oval in shape was moving. With courage, Kimura opened the silver wooden box.

"Well..." Kimura leaped back, shocked to see two katanas as if they were clashing against each other.

"That...The katana sword of my clan's legacy..." He said, because one of the two katana swords contained in the wooden box was the katana that he had been carrying everywhere.

"I just remembered this katana..." He said as he continued to look at the two katanas that were now moving out of their own wooden cabinets.
