The Legend Of Samurai

The Legend Of Samurai
Ch 2: Early Start - Hanbei-House

"Chairman Hanbei...Please Elders come out for a moment there's something I want to talk about." Yoshi said with moderate intonation, even though he disliked Hanbei, but in the Samurai lineage, an elder with higher authority should be respected. He had currently been at the gate of Hanbei's residence Bamboo Villa.

Meanwhile, in the courtyard of the Bamboo Villa there was a woman who was sweeping the yard. The woman, who is at a glance in her 30s, is the wife of Hanbei, as well as the mother of Kimura. His name is Ito Azumi.

"Yes...Wait!" Azumi who heard someone like she was calling her husband's name immediately ran towards the source of the voice and opened the gate.

"Greet Brother-Chan is Elder Hanbei inside?" yoshi said it looked like he was wrong.

Azumi only smiled, then clenched both hands in front of her face to return Yoshi's greeting.

"I'm sorry, Elders, my husband hasn't come back yet it seems like there's something he's working on" Azumi said.

"O.o.oh. Yes brother-Chan, but may I wait for him here until Elder Hanbei comes," Yoshi said in a very friendly speech.

Azumi did not answer him immediately, she seemed to be thinking, afraid that she would be angered by her husband or Klan members who accidentally saw him enter a male guest into his residence.

There is a written rule in this clan when a samurai is married. Jiika, given a task by the Chairman of her clan and had to leave her family for a long time, then the wife who was left by her husband, and her husband, must guard the residence where he lives so as not to put a man in, other than his family.

However, according to Azumi he would not violate because the one who became his guest was now an Elder of this Clan himself.

"Then please wait inside the Elders." said Azumi as she let her guests in.

"Akai.. You better go back to the hall later the teacher will soon follow," Tanaka Yoshi said to Akai.

A feeling of relief immediately enveloped Akai's heart, after hearing the words from her teacher, "Every teacher," she replied, with a face that instantly turned into a sumringah.

"Smart child." muttered Tanaka Yoshi with a faint smile.

"Is there a problem with the elder...?" azumi asked innocently, seeing that the Elder was not walking in.

"Um.it's okay" replied Tanaka Yoshi.

"Then let's enter the elder." said Azumi.

Yoshi just nodded with a smile, then stepped in.

Some time passed, it was seen that Yoshi had started to huff waiting for Hanbei who was not sure when he would come, but the anger was immediately lost when he saw Azumi carrying a cup of tea.

"While waiting for my husband, please the elder drink first..." Azumi invites Yoshi to have a drink.

"Thank you for the hospitality Brother-Chan..." Yoshi said as he took a cup of tea and sipped it, after which he again said, "Does Brother-Chan love Elder Hanbei?"

Azumi did not expect the question to be heard, let alone the question was conveyed by an Elder.

"Why did the elder ask that?" asked Azumi, looking confused.

Tanaka Yoshi who already knows will be asked back. He then reopened his voice, "just answer Brother-Chan my question." Said slowly.

Azumi, who was uncomfortable at the question, intended to leave her guest alone.

However, immediately restrained by Tanaka Yoshi who held her hand, "Adik-Chan since I loved you a long time ago, when we first met," Yoshi held tightly Azumi's hand.

Their first meeting occurred when Hanbei and Yoshi were given assignments. They both stopped at one of the shops, because they wanted to fill the stomach that had not been filled for several days after a continuous trip without rest.

Azumi who became a waiter at the place to eat immediately approached them both offering various kinds of food menu. Yoshi who saw her at that moment instantly had an interest. However, Azumi preferred Hanbei who seemed quiet and cold.

That time continued every time they were both given a task. They must have taken the time to stop by the shop where Azumi worked.

As she stops by the tavern and continues to meet Azumi, the seeds of love begin to grow in Hanbei's heart. A few years later, Hanbei invites Azumi to his clan, then gets married and lives his life here.

"Elder Yoshi, please let go!" Azumi was somewhat moaning in pain when her hand was held by the man.

"Has the elder lost his mind already ?! I already have a husband that I love so much!," Azumi said with a slightly heightened intonation.

"I don't care if you have a husband or not. Immediately, I will kill Hanbei if Brother-Chan wants to come with me," Yoshi said with a clear face, but with a slightly changed tone.

Instead of being calm, Azumi grew increasingly angry and rebellious to hear her husband wanted to be killed.

"Let go of me, let go of me Elder, let go!" Azumi tried to struggle, but with the energy he had still it did not produce anything.

Because he had no other way and the man in front of him was no longer able to talk, he then took the Glass Flower Vase beside him and slammed it into the Elder's face.

Tanaka Yoshi's forehead is bleeding, as a result of the hit of the Flower Van. But, like a person who had already lost his sanity, he grew even more happy after getting hit from Azumi.

"Again, Brother-Chan!" he said while smiling seductively.

Azumi cried out for help when she saw the man in front of her open her half-body kimono which only showed her chest.

"Nobody will hear your voice Brother-Chan. All the students and teachers were in the main hall." His tone increasingly changed, seen to have been mastered by his depraved lust. After saying so, he started touching Azumi's body parts.

Seeing Azumi who was increasingly struggling, she then tied Azumi's hands together, using her Robe belt.

The beginning of destruction happened...

Hanbei, who intends to walk with Kimura to go home, accidentally meets the right hand of the Clan Leader, Uesugi Kansuke. Kansuke is the right-hand man of the Clan Chief and is often entrusted with the duties of his chairman.

"Chairman Hanbei... I've been instructed by the Chairman to deliver a message so that you can meet him immediately" Kansuke said as his body bowed in respect.

"You've always behaved like that to me Mr. Kansuke" he said. He who was not comfortable in being given such respect, immediately raised Kansuke's body.

"And you have always behaved like this, Elder Hanbei. This is what I admire most about you" Kansuke replied, with a faint smile.

"If there's nothing else to talk about, I beg you to resign, Elder. There are other more important matters that I have to take care of" Kansuke said.

"Please Mr. Kansuke," Hanbei replied with a friendly smile.

But before leaving, the Chairman's right-hand eye, accidentally caught a boy who was a glimpse of a teenager, standing on Hanbei's right side.

"Is this elder Hanbei's son?" ask Kansuke.

"Um," Hanbei simply nodded.

"May, I know the name of my nephew, Kansuke said.

Hanbei then had Kimura introduce himself, "Son. Introduce yourself to Uncle Kansuke."

Hearing his father's words, Kimura then stepped forward and saluted in a manner like most samurai saluted their masters.

"Introducing this junior's name is Uesugi Kimura" Kimura said, still in a respectful position.

Kansuke smiled, seeing the courtesy and manners that Kimura showed. Rarely does a samurai today have such a childlike personality.

"Then I say hello to Elder Hanbei, I apologize for disturbing the two of you together." said Kansuke as he once again saluted.

"Not at all, Mr. Kansuke," Hanbei replied kindly.

Hanbei shook his head slowly looking at the attitude of Kansuke who was already far ahead of him.

After Kansuke's departure, the two of them immediately rushed to his Chairman's residence.
