The Lawrence Family Rescue

The Lawrence Family Rescue
CHAPTERS. 32 Louis Lawrence's Disease

Today the sun is quite bright, said our grandfather to the arrival of guests who have not met for some time. When grandfather said so I thought we would have the arrival of a noble family in this western region. That morning, my grandfather and I waited downstairs. From a distance was the emblem of the imperial academy. A large carriage with a dominant green color with a flag fluttering above the carriage.

“Teacher Roland!!!” Sapaku when he saw his arrival.

A man I hadn't seen in weeks is back. Now I saw the expression on the face of spirit spoken by Roland Glaz to greet us.

“After tidying up the items in your room, meet me immediately in the workspace.” Grandpa said and left with a sad face.

Teacher Roland nodded in understanding of grandfather's words. In my mind I was so confused, because it seemed like grandfather and teacher Roland were hiding something. “Is there a problem?” I murmured in my heart.

Master Roland tried to shift my mind. Maybe after seeing the look on my face, he realized I was thinking about something. “Nona Aurel, teacher has a gift for you.” Said teacher Roland with busy hands looking for something in his bag.

After a while had passed, a security hanger came out of the teacher's bag. The hanger in blue and white looks so beautiful. The teacher gave it to me in my open hand. “Uncle, this swing is beautiful once.” Laughing.

My uncle smiled to see me. “Let's hook the lady's hairpick to add an elegant impression, or the lady wants to hook on the sword and other things don't matter.” Obviously teacher to me.

Then we went into the house. The teacher told me that I would have a class later that afternoon with him. Where today we will learn about trade, both imperial trade and noble trade.

Based on my previous life, I read about this for basic knowledge as I tried to maintain Lawrence's messy condition. Based on the book that I read the trade controlled by the state is the primary needs of the people, materials that contribute to economic stability, and materials that are confiscated for a reason. While the trade owned by the nobility is a business made to maintain the stability of the family itself.

After chatting with the teacher I went back to the room to relax, before taking classes later in the afternoon. While the teacher went to camp to tidy up the goods and after that went to the grandfather's work room according to the message of the grandfather.

My mind was empty with a directed look at the window of my study. A few months ago I found a black spot on the arm of my son, Louis Lawrence. Louis just kept quiet without saying anything when I asked him about the spot. “Louis, what's with your arm?” Ask surprised.

Louis was silent, as if hiding something. “It's okay, dad. I'm fine.” Louis replied after a moment of silence and did not explain anything. After that he left me who was still surprised by the spot on his hand.

I could not sleep for fear that it was something dangerous. I went to the sacred tower to find out about it. To a senior there I asked what I saw in my son's hand. The man from the sacred tower asked about my son's aurora. “Mr Lawrence does aurora belong to your son?” Ask the man.

“Darkness.” My short reply instantly made the look on the man's face before me change.

“Looks like I know what your son is going through.” Said the man with a pale face, as if heavily saying it.

“Very dangerous. The disease is black demon. The disease is formed from a portion of the aurora that mutates so that it attacks the body of its owner. The disease will be difficult to identify, because the initial symptoms are only black spots that are not too important. However, after some time ago the spot will spread even more. In the last stage, the spots will be all over the patient's body. Black demon will gnaw its host body slowly so that it is not known its initial symptoms.” It was obviously that guy who made me limp.

“Then is there a cure?” I asked with worry.

“Unfortunately no drug has been found to treat the disease. Even to slow it down the speed at which its black patches spread is also absent.” Answer the man who made me cry.

“Then how long does my son have??” I said with deep sadness.

“All depends on how much aurora power your son has and how much aurora mutates. The more it mutates, the faster the speed of spotting spreads. Generally about 3 to 4 years of the disease it can spread in total.” Obviously the man is back.

“This disease belongs to step disease and is the effect of large auroral force and excessive use.” Follow the holy tower man.

“Then I have to how?” I asked because I didn't know what to do.

“You can't do anything, other than spend time with your son.” Said the man.

Hearing her answer made my mind suddenly empty. I don't want to see Aurel sad about this. The little girl, in desperate need of affection from her father until she reached adulthood. I can't imagine what would happen if Aurel had to lose his father as well.

“Hearing your story, it seems your son already knows about the disease he suffered.” Said the man of the holy tower after thinking for a moment.

“Is there really no way?.” My leg's getting limp, I really don't know what to do.

“Maybe there, but it must be difficult. You can only do research related to the disease. There is still enough time to do it.” Said the man, who made me have a little hope..

The memories were enough to keep me from resting quietly. Worrying about the worst possible things that could happen. Because I myself don't know how many mutated auroras are in my son's body. I was just afraid that the spread of the black spot would be faster than the time that the high ranking holy tower had expected. Even until now I had no idea how to tell Aurel about this. Perhaps this is why Louis did not tell anyone about his illness, for fear of it leaking and being heard by Aurel.

Louis must have been unprepared to tell and see Aurel's reaction. For Louis, Aurel's happiness was everything. Louis would not be able to see Aurel become moody after knowing his father was suffering from a disease that until now could not be appeased, even cured. I don't even understand if I should tell that 7-year-old girl or not. It's too early to know this. But on the other hand, he deserves to know this.

GEE!!..YOKO!!...GECK!!

“Iyaa..please enter..” Sahutku from indoors.
