CHAPTER 11. The Emperor's Spear Edge
"Aurel, where do you often read?" I asked because I wanted to read with him.
"The prince's favor." Aurel said with a finger pointing to the sofa by the window.
"Let's Aurel go there" said the second prince by pulling Aurel towards the spot.
The longer we've been here, the more upset I've become about the second prince. I think I want to kick him out of Lawrence's house.
"Aurel why are you already a history book? Isn't that so thick and boring?" The second prince asked, seeing Aurel very enthusiastically reading the book in his hand.
"Because many things in the past can be used as learning so that it does not happen in the future." Aurel replied which made me instantly speechless.
This girl is not like a 7-year-old child, her thinking is very mature. In addition, his knowledge is very far above children his age. Even when compared to me, his thoughts were much more mature.
"Aurel would you like to read a book of literature with me?" The second prince's bid on Aurel.
"By, prince." Reply Aurel.
Seeing the two of them close up made me want to get out of this library. Better to get out of this place than to get upset here.
"First prince, where do you want to go?" Ask Aurel to me.
"To the toilet." Answer's short.
"Oh well, watch out prince." Then back to reading the book.
All the way down the hallway of Lawrence's residence my mind was always unsettled. What if they get closer? Am I not pleasant for Aurel? Without me noticing my tears just came down. A few moments later, I tried to calm myself down. But the sound surprised me.
"First prince." Shouted someone behind me.
"Aurel.." I answered not expecting that the girl would come.
"Is the prince okay? Prince crying?" Aurel asked, looking into my tears.
"No.." I said as I rubbed my eyes.
"I'm sorry I don't care about the first prince." Sahut Aurel with his head bowed.
"I'm sorry I failed to accompany the prince." Connect the girl.
"No, Aurel's done his best." I smiled happily.
Never thought this girl would worry about me. The girl who had always boasted of Lawrence's name, which was at the end of her name, was now bowed down from feeling guilty.
"It's okay, how's the second prince?" I wonder.
"I've asked permission to catch up with the first prince. The second prince did not mind that." Clearly me.
"Do you want to take me here for a minute?" Many doubt.
"Yes, may the prince." Answer with cheer.

"Prince, can I catch up with the first prince?" Aurel asked a little doubtfully.
"Here please, I'll wait here." Reply with a forced smile.
"Thank you, second prince." He then went after the first prince.
Seeing Aurel who was so worried about the first prince pissed me off. Why should Aurel care about those exiles? Are useless people worth paying attention to? The more I remember it makes me emotional.
Before going to Lawrence's house, I had sent a message to me.
"Prince come here, your mother wants to talk." Said the empress asking me to come closer.
"Yes mom, what's wrong?" Manyau approaching.
"When you arrive at Lawrence's residence, try to get close to Aurelia Lawrence." Mother's words emphasize.
"But what's the matter, mother?" Many confusion.
Remembering the mother's words, like that girl will be used to be a jumping stone. It's a pity for his life, but I need him to be emperor. He is my main key.

"Good prince." The Sahut of Aurel followed me.
We both walked through the hallway. The waiter who was following us was waiting inside the library. It feels so good to be walking alone with Aurel.
"Second prince, we are coming" Aurel said with vigor.
"Hi, Aurel. Hi First prince." Sapa the second prince.
"Sorry to keep you waiting for the prince." I said to the second prince.
After that we spent time together playing and having fun. The atmosphere was sometimes a little awkward, but Aurel always managed to break that awkwardness.
"The princes and ladies are very funny huh." Said one of the servants I could hear.
"Yes, they're so harmonious." Another servant's.
"About the lady who will be with the prince in the future." They spoke to me which made me silent.
In this empire, a lady who was friends and close to the prince would be betrothed as an adult. But in this different case, Aurel is now close to the two princes. Seeing this, people will wonder what the palace wants to do.
"Take care of your words, when the prince hears you will be punished." Another waiter reminded.
"I'm sorry." Reply to the waiter in surprise.
"But what she said was right, our lady must be a couple of princes who are able to look after her." Said the waiter who had not been here long.
The servants began to fuss over Aurel's partner. It felt a little emotional hearing a servant who said the second prince was better than me.
But what is said makes sense. My mother has died, my position is already very insecure in the palace and can be thrown away at any time. The advantage is that the king still needs me to lead the battle on the front lines. Next year is the time to make a pact with the emperor.
"Prince do you want to stay in the palace?" Asked the emperor 3 months after the mother's departure.
"Yes, your honor." I answered with a sad tone.
"Do something for the empire then I'll let you stay here." Sahut the emperor with a cold look.

"Train with your auroras, and then replace me in leading the battle at the age I have found." Reply to the emperor, raising my bowed head.
"Okay, your honor." I answered in a depressed tone.
Since then I started training hard. Learn about war strategy, swordsmanship, auroras, and more. I also learned about the power of every region that the emperor wanted to conquer. Being guided by the best imperial teacher, made people think the emperor still loved me even though my mother was gone. The fact is I'm just the spearhead of the emperor.
"The emperor loved the first prince very much." Said a noble.
"Yes, I heard the emperor gave the best teacher to the first prince." Sahut another nobleman.
"The first prince was very great, he willingly replaced the emperor to lead the conquest of the region." Teach nobles in business.
"Where did you hear that from?" Ask a noble.
"The waiters were gossiping, I accidentally heard it as it passed." Obviously the nobleman.
Months passed, with the community thinking that I wanted to replace my father. One day, the Emperor called me back.
"The prince has something I want to say." Said the emperor with a sly smile that was very legible.
"Yes, what's the matter?" I asked with a flat face.
"Now that you're ready, next year go for the conquest of the region." The emperor with a happy face.
