The Law's

The Law's
Chapter 12; Sheppard Note

A month before all the evidence was gathered, I–Satherine Dawson, thought about the big risks we would face. Yes, it's a risk because we've challenged Eastern organizations. Thomson and Miranda are the most respected and respected members of the Eastern organization. Therefore, Parker thinks we will lose against them.

Okay, first; let's think about how Robert could prove his innocence, we've gathered evidence, it's a fingerprint that doesn't belong to Robert and a residency card that shows that Miranda and Thomson aren't Western.

Second; the Eastern organizations will definitely interfere with our investigation because it is to maintain the public's belief that Thomson and Miranda are the victims and Robert is the real suspect. No exception–Wind. He was an accomplice or even a very dependable Easterner.

Therefore–what is your plan?

I spoke to myself, hoping the other me would answer that question, but it was impossible. I can't work alone, I need someone else.

Problem–my own partner is even busy with his girlfriend's business. I was confused as to how to talk to him. Ah whatever, the important thing for three months this mission must be completed. Got to!

It had been three hours that I had been circling in my quiet, silent room just to think about this case. Then I saw the wall clock.

Lothawat! I'm late!

I have to pick up my brother at the station. Maybe he's been waiting a long time.

I rushed to a station that was a long way away, and unfortunately I had not found a passing taxi. I almost got hit.

"Hey lady, watch your way!"

"Can you take me to the station?"

"Oh good."

Fortunately he was a taxi driver, so I did not have to search again until it hit for a few times. And finally I reached the station.

All the train passengers got off, I looked back and forth looking for the whereabouts of my brother who had somehow disembarked from which carriage.

My eyes were fixed on the brown hat man who was about to walk towards me. Why didn't his face show enthusiasm when he saw me?

Yeah, like I thought, she passed her own sister.

"What'sthis? Can't Jeff forget his own sister's face?" I murmured while staring at the straight back as it walked.

"Mr Dawson," Call me.

He looked. "Oh, how can I help you?"

Strange, when he saw me, but–why doesn't he know me?

Then, he narrowed his eyes. "Sherine?! It's you?" Ask.

"Who else?"

"Gosh, you've grown up apparently," he said, hugging me.

"You know that, right?"

"I remember you were a quiet little boy sitting on a tree."

He took off his embrace. "Time goes by very fast."

"Then let me bring you your bag."

Jeffreyan Lynn Dawnson, the first of three brothers. I call him Jeff, sometimes I tease him with Mr. Jefferson, that fits better with his nickname.

Strange, why could he forget that his sister has grown up, we would grow up in the same house? After coming home from out of town, it's weird.

Jeff sat on the sofa, his hands like grasping something, his eyes did not turn away from the object he was holding.

"Satherine," call her.

I made tea looking at him. "Yes." Yeah."

"Come here."

I sat next to him. "What's wrong?"

"Look," Jeff showed me a necklace whose base material was metal.

"Beautiful necklace," I said, the necklace is more like a coin with a rope, on the necklace there is an engraving of the initials JD which means Jeffreyan Dawson, maybe.

"Where did you get this necklace?"

"Someone gave it to me, I was shocked because the initials of the necklace were similar to my name."

"Who?"

"No idea, but he's a good man."

Jeff sipped the tea I made.

"Actually, I was taken care of out of town, my friend who drove me. As I recall when I left you you were very young, Sherine."

"What are you really why? Like forgetting memories?"

"Relieve my illness."

About 12 years ago, Jeff was suffering from a strange disease. He often coughs, a few days later he recovers, but tomorrow he coughs again when he coughs blood. He was taken to a hospital, but doctors did not know what he was suffering from. His illness was frequent relapses, so he could not go far without being accompanied.

"After coming home from my friend's house, suddenly my head ached, my eyes blurred and my body immediately fell, my friend said my head hit the asphalt. Then when I woke up, I was surprised to find that I was already in the hospital, there were a lot of people waiting for me, their clothes were neat. One of them called the doctor, before long the doctor came with a middle-aged man."

"How is that guy?"

"His age is about 40 years old, tall, dashing, there's gray hair next to his black hair and–dia wears this necklace," While showing me JD's initial necklace.

"He said he paid the hospital money, I was helped because someone helped me, and then he gave me this necklace as a memory."

"You don't know each other, what are your mementos for?"

"Ya–maybe it's an expression for me to recover quickly. The guy said, I've been in the hospital for a week– maybe a coma, but it's a quick time to say coma, so I don't remember."

"The man didn't say anything else, just gave the necklace and left?"

"Yes, I haven't said thank you."

"Hey, you can't do that, mom taught us to say thank you to whoever helped us" while stroking my head.

I got Jeff's hand off my head. "I suspect that man. You wear it?!" I was shocked to see Jeff wearing that necklace.

"Yes, it's good, and my initials."

"But–"

"Satherine, don't be suspicious of the person who helped you, or don't-don't-–you're jealous because only I got this necklace?" Temptation Jeff.

"Dad? The truth is, I've grown up to be envious, after all–"

"What's first?"

"Ah no."

Jeff glancing. "Rest, you're healed, next time I'm going out of town I'll come with you."

"Why? I'm not a kid anymore, Sherine."

I shake his head. "When you get sick again, how?!"

"Oh, yes-yes you're like a mother," Though the toyoran I gave was so loud that it made her complain, but she could have teased me.

"I am a mother's son."

I pulled the hand of Jeff who did not want to get up from his seat by force. After successfully entering the man with the title of big brother into his room, he asked.

"You're working on a case, huh?" Ask Jeff.

"Yes" I answered briefly.

"Yes, I don't think I can talk much, we'll talk again yeah, I want to hear your story."

I just nodded, then closed the door of the room hoping the occupants could sleep well

The clock shows at 10 in the morning, it looks like Jeff is charging me an appointment, he's sitting in the dining room doing nothing.

I sat down in the chair next to her, without asking.

"I thought you were asleep" Jeff said.

"I should have said that."

"Ever time you tell me to keep resting, it looks like I'm gonna be up tonight."

I just smile without looking at him. "Looks like you know why I'm still here."

"So, what's the case you're working on?"

"That's about the death of Thomson Hendrick, the rich official."

"Thomson? Why can?"

I told him at length about the beginning of the murder, and Parker and I investigated together to find evidence that Thomson and his wife were Easterners living in the West. To the height of the matter, the case concerns not only Thomson and Robert, but also the Eastern organization that will intervene to help Miranda.

"As far as I know, Thomson is a good man, there's no way he's Eastern."

"At first you'll talk like that, but once you see the truth, you'll know the good nature of it is just a lie to manipulate the people of the West."

"How do you know they're Easterners?"

"His residence card, Ms. Hudson gave me the clue."

"That means–you broke into Hendrick's house?!"

"true."

I could see the look on Jeff's face shocked to hear his reckless sister break into people's homes and take the evidence.

"That's absolute for me."

"Yes, because you're a detective. Be careful Sherine, your cover can make Westerners think you're a spy."

"Yes, it's actually already happened" I said in a low tone.

"What did you say?"

"Ah, no," Good thing Jeff didn't hear.

"The problem now is the organization East and–"

"Wind?" Jeff cut me off.

"I-iya, since Thomson is an Easterner and Miranda has a sister who is a confidant of Joan Holder, they will definitely do anything to win in court later."

"Not only in court, before the day it happens maybe our– will be dropped first," I continued.

"No way," I looked towards the source of the sound.

"You are SEA and you are strong, even stronger than before because there are many people who will help you on this mission. And also the East cannot hurt you, for you are a great wave that will strike them, rather than a strong wind that can only hit people away from its territory, then the sea waves can drown and even make that person can not rise so deep that sea."

"But, the wind could be a typhoon that not only hits, it could even eliminate someone."

"Because he believes in his abilities. You should too. You have to believe in your abilities if you can defeat him. It's not SEA if you give up first" he said, stroking my head.

"Wind and water can be friends if they unite forces. So strong wind gusts, then the bigger the ocean waves," He continued.

Nb:

Water and Wind are SEA and WIND, nicknames for Sherine and ***
