"Then you find out who Sherine Dawson is, if she's Sea then it's us and Wind." Pevita's orders.
"Well, madam," said the mysterious person who turned out to be there with them.
*
Lexan and Sherine peek at their conversation behind a wall not illuminated by streetlights.
They both see Pevita and Miranda, who have destroyed their detectors and have a mysterious person stalk the Sea Sherine.
"You see, it's clear that person is Kyle" Lexan said.
Sherine nodded. "And the woman with Miranda is one of the Eastern organizations, Kyle is working under his control, do we have to tell your boss about this?"
"No, this matter has nothing to do with the boss, he'll shut his ears if I snitch Kyle."
"Huh? I mean, it's the same Kyle's been a traitor, should your boss take action for him, right?" Decak Sherin.
"You don't know, my boss is stubborn and picky, he'll listen to the others but not me."
"And now–you are in danger," He continued.
"It's okay," replied Sherine casually.
"You can't take Kyle and the Easterner lightly, lamely" Lexan said.
"With Kyle focused on finding out who I am, you can run errands without being bothered by him right?" Ask Sherine.
"Y-yeah I know, but she'll keep loving you and finding out who you are until she finds the answer."
"I'll make sure it doesn't happen, and I'll protect you."
"What?!"
"Yes, I'll protect you, you get as much information as you can about this case" Sherine said.
"It's not upside down, it should be–"
"Yes I know, since I'm your partner, I'm gonna distract Kyle so that without him realizing the evidence is in your hands, you understand?"
"Yes, I understand."
"One more thing," he said almost forgetfulness.
"What's that?"
"Beware, Kyle is a persistent person, being casual when meeting him as if you know nothing."
"Yes." Yeah."
They both stayed away from the place. On their return to the office, Felix walked out of Lexan's door in cold sweat. This caused a question for the two who had just arrived.
"What's wrong with you?" Ask Lexan.
"D-inside," Felix stuttered.
"Inside? What's up?" Ask again.
"I-it's n-nona Jane," while pointing to the window of the room.
Hearing that made Lexan startled, he immediately entered his room. Sherine who was about to follow was arrested by Felix.
"You better not come in."
"Why?"
"Let the handler take care of it, you come with me," while pulling Sherine's hand away from Lexan's room.
"What happened to Jane?" Ask.
"She's Lexan's girlfriend."
"Yes I know, but why were you so scared earlier?"
"Don't be afraid anyway, more worried about Lexan's busy situation and then bullied his girlfriend."
"Jane is very sensitive if you see Lexan with other women, you can be scolded completely by him" he continued.
Sherine goes into Felix's room, where Deana happens to be there.
"Hi Sherine, what did you come here for once?" Ask Deana.
"It's dangerous that Sherine is in Lexan's office right now" Felix replied.
"Why?"
"There's Jane" Sherine answered briefly.
Hearing that Deana was shocked. "Jane!"
"Why are you so scared?"
"Hey, you know, I was scolded by Jane when I went into Lexan's room, but I just put the file she wanted, but I got angry" Deana said.
"Then Parker didn't defend you that way?!"
"When Lexan didn't exist, after all, no one's office dared to go with him."
"Yes, if Jane's here that means no one can bother Lexan, Jane's like a demon in front of us, but in front of Lexan she'll be a spoiled cat" Felix continued.
"He's not a random person either" Deana said.
"You mean?!"
"She is the daughter of a wealthy businessman, her nature is arrogant and like to show off. He also often sent employees here like his aides."
"Well, if he tells us to, we can refuse, right?"
"The problem isn't like that, Sherine."
Deana put her mouth close to Sherine's ear. "You know, the people who work here are subject to money, so–if they refuse then Jane will pay a lot for them" he whispered.
"Now you understand, don't you, Sherine?" Ask Felix.
"Yes, but–why would Parker be dating Jane?"
"To my knowledge, it was her father who put Lexan on Jane's family, but–you know, Lexan doesn't like Jane."
"It must be hard for Parker."
Felix and Deana nodded in agreement. But in his heart, he murmured. "Yes, it's none of my business so don't get dizzy."
"It doesn't matter if I'm here?"
"Just relax, everything is free in my room" Felix said.
"Oh yeah, did you guys get any information when you were snooping?" Ask Felix.
"Yes." Yeah."
"And the camera?"
"You know about the camera?" Ask Sherine.
"Haha, of course I saw Lexan bring a camera into his room. Whose camera is that, by the way?"
"It– belongs to Kyle."
"Kyle? So you investigate with Kyle, he's been absent a lot these weeks."
"Kyle? Who is it, Felix?" Ask Deana.
"Oh, he's a friend of Lexan's, Kyle rarely comes in when you start working with Lexan, so you don't know."
"Oh."
"You– don't know anything from Kyle?" Ask Sherine.
"No, why?"
"Look, from the beginning we were about to leave, he always forced us to take him, and also Lexan's face was very unhappy with his arrival, and–"
Suddenly the door to Felix's room creaked. Someone who is no stranger to them.
"Of everything!" Greet Kyle cheerfully.
"Kyle!?" Felix did not believe the presence of the person he had just talked about.
The two of them chatted enthusiastically so rarely met.
"They're very enthusiastic, yes" Deana said happily.
"No, something I was afraid of actually happened today" Sherine murmured.
"Something you're afraid of?"
"Eh, no, no."
"I-yes, the camera is in Lexan" Sherine said in a nervous tone.
"Oh good," he said with a smile.
"Because the camera's in Lexan's room, you'd better be here, Kyle" Felix said.
"Yes, Lexan is dating don't be disturbed, hihi," Deana said.
"Oh yes, hahaha, yasudah."
Sherine dies a flea if Kyle really has a room with her.
"Eum, guys, it looks like next time I get together with you guys."
"Lho Kyle, why?" Ask Felix.
"I still have business."
"Oh, looks like you're also wanted by Mr. Cornwall, you'd better meet him" Felix suggested.
"Master Cornwall knows it."
"Oh, that's it already."
Kyle only gave a smile before he left, but at one time his eyes glanced at Sherine's tail.
Actually Sherine is not afraid, just wary of the persistent Kyle. If Kyle knows who Sherine is then their business is not only Robert and Thomson, but at something Sherine is more afraid of.
***
"Silver!" Call someone.
In a quiet hallway like a horror movie, Sherine again had to stop and turn her head to serve someone she knew for a long time.
"Kyle," Sherine said with a forced smile.
"You haven't come home yet?" Ask Kyle.
Sherine was silent not answering Kyle's question. In his heart he observed the movements and intentions of the question.
"Hey, Halo–" Kyle said as he waved his hand in Sherine's eyes.
For not answering Kyle flicked his finger to break Sherine's daydream.
"Oh, I'm not daydreaming."
"Oh I thought."
"What do you mean ask me that, Kyle?" Ask Sherine to investigate.
"See, you're the last person I saw here, going home together?"
"Thank you, but I can go home by myself."
"Why? Lexan forbid you to come home with me?"
"No, I'm just–"
"Satherine, it's not good that women go home alone in the middle of the night."
"You got a vehicle?"
"I ride a motorbike, yes–not as luxurious as Lexan who rides a car every day, no problem right?"
"Whatever it's important we go home" Sherine replied with a smile.
Kyle was very happy, even while walking he was humming ria. True what Lexan said if this friend is a cheerful person, friendly and cheap smile, also simple.
They reached the parking lot, there was only one vehicle left. Yep, that's Kyle's bike. Sherine thinks Kyle came home late on purpose, because she knows something is hidden. But seeing Kyle's cheerful face made Sherine forget her thoughts.
The man put a helmet on his head, which made Sherine pause for a moment to notice the man. Not because I like it, you know. But he noticed Kyle because it was a way of looking at the body language of someone who wanted to trap him through the look on his face.
Suddenly, Kyle smiled to see Sherine who dariitadi watched him continue.
"You ready?"
Sherine put the helmet on her head. "It."
"Wait–" While holding Sherine's hand.
"Helms can come off if not tied," he said while pairing a helmet binder. Sherine was surprised, because in her entire life no one had paid this much attention to her.
"Okay, you can go up now."
"Thanks."
The strong wind blew Sherine's long hair, fortunately she was wearing a helmet so her whole hair was not messy.
That night, the atmosphere felt very different from the night before.
"You're sweet" Kyle said, looking at his face behind the rear-view mirror.
"Thank you" he said with a flat, ordinary face.
"You've said a lot of thanks to me."
"You don't like it? I don't mind if I don't say thank you either."
"Ah not so, I'm just glad this time there are people who say thank you repeatedly to me" he said with a smile.
Sherine could see a smile on her sweet lips.
"Actually if you say I'm sweet you're wrong, you're sweet."
"Ahaha time?"
"You don't have a boyfriend yet?"
"Not yet."
Sherine nodded. After that he was confused what else to talk about.
"You know."
"What?"
"You're a person I rarely meet, so–"
"Eat him?"
"I like you."
The deg!
Sherine distanced herself, hearing that she was shocked not to play. Does Kyle think Sherine likes him? Starting from Kyle who took her home together, then put her helmet on with a smile, and now–she says she likes Sherine!
"You like me? Why?!"
"Like it–many means, the reason I like you is because–"
Sherine's heart is pounding. It could be dangerous if Kyle wants him to be his girlfriend.
"Yes, since you're kind, I mean I was amazed at you."
"When we just met, oh yes do you know my house?!"
Suddenly the motor stopped. Yep, do you know where to stop? Right in front of Sherine's house.
Sherine. Then look back at the man sitting on the bike with a smile.
His hand grabbed Sherine's helmet lock.
"I-I can take it off myself, I mean you don't have to bother."
"Intentionally, I want to be bothered."
Still shocked, but Sherine has to say thank you for what Kyle did.
"Receive–"
"Don't."
"Huh?"
"Thank you for tonight, Sherine."
The bike was slowly disappearing, even though the place was quiet, but somehow Kyle always disappeared quickly.
Sherine touched his chest. "You didn't mean to set me up, did you, Kyle?"
His eyes blinked. "What do you think Sherine?! No, throw that thought away, d-he's just–good to you, yeah no more, just a friend, Sherine," he told himself.
"No, he set me up on purpose."
"Sad."
