Flash the past
At that moment, the sun was so bright. His resplendent radiance pierced through the thin curtains of Anggi's room window and caressed his face with a glittering glow. Disturbing her deep sleep that was very difficult she got last night due to her growing belly.
"Engh.." -…."
Slightly moaning, Anggi turned his sleeping position that was expecting right, into the opposite direction. Slowly opened his two heavy eyelids, as soon as his sense of smell caught the fragrant smell that he was so familiar with.
"Sister Damar," called Anggi serah, faintly looking at the silhouette of Damar's body which was currently standing in front of their wardrobe to reflect.
From where he lay, Anggi could see Damar glancing at his reflection from the mirror before finally re-patting himself who was wearing a jacket.
"Where are you going, brother?" asked the heavy Anggi, trying to get up from his sleeping position to lean on the head of the bed.
Although Damar saw Anggi was having trouble moving, it seemed he was so stupid with the woman.
"You go to campus," Damar replied flatly, making Anggi turn towards the wall clock in the room.
Half eight in the morning.
"Jeez.., I'm bad luck!" pekik Anggi restrained, with a look of surprise mixed with a little panic.
He seemed to be trying to move down from the bed and rushed to get out of the room.
"Awhile, brother. I'll have breakfast for Brother."
"No need. I've had breakfast."
Just now Anggi reached the door of the room, Damar's sentence came out so flat, suddenly stopping his footwork.
"Mama is cooking. So you don't have to bother, make me breakfast," added the guy again relaxed, taking his backpack located on the study table and sticking it to the right shoulder.
"I'm leaving" he said later, as if unconcerned by Anggi's sad, disappointed face that couldn't serve him this morning.
Really, for whatever sake, Anggi did not intend to wake up today. Last night she was really exhausted from trying to clean most of her in-laws' house. Because the innuendo of his mother-in-law who always said that Anggi was just hitchhiking to eat and sleep in their house, then he took the initiative to become a real housewife figure. Although her father-in-law forbade Anggi to do heavy homework due to her already sizable pregnancy, Anggi was not discouraged from drawing sympathy from her mother-in-law.
He thought, let it be a little tired, the important thing is that his mother-in-law can be kinder to him than always throwing spicy words at him.
Repelling the disappointment he had just received, Anggi hurried off to go to the bathroom. He intended to clean himself up first before heading out of the room for breakfast.
"Eh, the Princess is awake?"
Such was the welcome of her mother-in-law, Ranti towards Anggi who had just arrived in front of the dining table.
Instead of intending to joke around, Ranti's facial expression showed a cynical expression to Anggi as if she wanted to insinuate the woman who woke up too late today. In fact, in the previous days Anggi always woke up the fastest to help cook in the kitchen.
"Sorry, Ma…. Anggi woke up late," said Anggi slightly lowered his head unwell, hearing the sound of Ranti's mouth that sounded dislike.
"You shouldn't wake up again. I think it's better for everyone,"
Anggi's head reflex was raised, staring at Ranti's innocent-looking face after issuing such a sentence. Indirectly, the early fifties woman told Anggi to die alone rather than trouble everyone.
"Why are you standing there? If there is no business, go! Don't ruin my eyes!" banish Ranti later, again not thinking about the feelings of Anggi who heard her.
Instead of offering to have breakfast together, the woman kicked Anggi out of his presence. Truly, nothing hurts more than what Anggi received this morning other than the rejection from the people he considers to be family.

At night, Anggi still felt so sad about what happened this morning. Almost this daily one he continued to be in the room without even coming out of there. He intended to sulk at everyone in the house. However, just like doing a silly thing, no one cared about him at all. At least one of his father-in-law's housemaids who always deliver food to Anggi's room. For reasons of her unborn health, Anggi would not want to eat in her bedroom secretly.
The clock has already shown the number ten nights. And it feels, Anggi feeling increasingly lonely, especially Damar also has not returned from the campus until now.
Maybe the guy came home from college. It's just that, do not go home, considering that the campus where Damar attended was not the type of open campus that still operates above nine pm.
Where exactly is that man? Why hasn't he come home yet, or even told you? Does he not know, if Anggi is feeling lonely now and needs a backrest? Why does Anggi feel tired like this?
Wrestling in his tangled mind, Anggi, who had been looking down deeply, looked up at the door of the room that had suddenly opened.
From the outside, Damar seemed to enter their bedroom with a slightly surprised look.
"Sister Damar," called Anggi hoarse, with a look of contempt for the man.
"You haven't slept?" asked Damar frowning his forehead faintly, approaching Anggi who was sitting on the bed.
It seemed, he was surprised to find Anggi who had not slept tonight.
"Sister,"
Damar who had just stood in front of Anggi, suddenly felt shocked as the woman hugged Damar's stomach so tightly. She cried without Damar knowing why, and made Damar's stomach which was only covered by a shirt he was wearing, feel soaked by tears.
"Why again?" asked Damar somewhat astonished.
Usually, he only saw Anggi with his overcast face. This time, the woman was crying. There must be something that makes him feel so sad.
Ah, Damar gets lazy when it's like this.
"Sister, I miss Mama and Papa" said Anggi slowly, without taking his arms off Damar's stomach.
"If you miss, you come, dong…. There will be a driver, tell me tomorrow anterin you to your family home," said Damar sound a little stupid, without knowing that the heart of Anggi feels more pain.
"But they don't want to accept me,"
"Why?"
"Nggi,"
Feeling that the woman's shoulder was getting shaken which signaled her crying more and more, Damar became silent. Why did she think she said she wasn't welcome in her family? As Damar knows, there are families who do not want to accept their children.
Just-there's.
"You,"
"Sister,"
When Damar touched both shoulders of Anggi to push slowly, Anggi immediately called his name with a trembling voice.
"Hug me for a moment" the woman was weak, who had been so sensitive that Damar had not touched her back even though he saw Anggi crying at this moment.
"What?"
"Hug me…." Orchid choked on his own saliva, before continuing his sentence, "Awhile, just a…."
And that night Anggi went through with his empty hope, when Damar did not hold him even until he fell asleep in a sitting position and hugged Damar's stomach.

Meanwhile, in a different point of view, Damar who was upset with the pressure of his father who some days just continue to undermine Damar about Anggi, Anggi, damar decides to go with his friends after college. He wanted to spend his time having fun outside, rather than having to find another long scolding from his father about Anggi.
Like yesterday, when Damar had just returned from his campus and felt tired instead of playing, his father had immediately searched him with various kinds of accusations related to Anggi.
What he says is that if Damar does not care about Anggi, Damar is not responsible for women, which is how, that is, all makes Damar's head feel dizzy instead of playing.
Frankly, Damar did not care about Anggi. Then, what? What should he do if his heart did not want to deal with the woman who was already his wife? Is it wrong for Damar that Anggi is pregnant now?
Stupidhead!
If only Damar remembered why the woman could get pregnant, it felt like Damar wanted to shake the contents of the woman's brain. Why did he get so stupid, anyway? Didn't everyone do that, Damar always gave her medicine so as not to get pregnant? Then why did he get to concede? He must have intentionally, wanted to be next to Damar constantly messing with all of Damar's future.
Really sucks.
Usually, in addition to inviting his male friends, Damar also often invites his female friends to go play. But somehow, tonight the girl friend who was close to him on campus, was not invited to go to the nightclub. The reason is quite annoying too, where the woman should not go by her parents because yesterday was home late at night with Damar and their other friends.
Huh! What a bad day just to let go of the accumulated fatigue.
Inevitably, Damar went home because he felt bored at the nightclub. His other friends were already drunk. And he, even to get drunk, feels very heavy. Plus he wants to go home quickly, it would be very dangerous if his parents - especially his father - found the smell of alcohol emanating from Damar's body. However, he still had to anticipate, considering that his father often sought trouble with him these days.
"Sister Damar,"
Feeling tired, Damar was surprised to find Anggi who had not slept, even looks like a ghost by sitting on the bed and head down deep.
"You haven't slept?" asked Damar a little reluctantly, approaching towards Anggi at this moment.
Honestly, he actually wanted to just lay his body on the bed. He was lazy to serve that woman who would probably say stupid things again to hear.
"Sister,"
Having just arrived in front of the woman, Damar was again surprised by Anggi who immediately hugged Damar's stomach without cue.
Samar, Damar could feel his stomach getting wet ever since Anggi put his face there.
"Why again?" asked Damar a little surprised, mixed with surprise anyway, because he suspected Anggi was crying at this time.
Although often ignored, Damar quite rarely found Anggi who cried like this. At most he just put on a face with the look of a cat's eyes full of water. But to cry, it seemed that the woman was strong enough to bear the attitude of Damar who Damar himself realized that it could hurt the heart of a woman like Anggi.
But, instead of persuading, Damar was in no mood to discuss the woman's grief tonight.
"Sister, I miss Mama and Papa,"
Slowly, Damar heard Anggi talking down there.
"If you miss, you come, dong…. There will be a driver, tell me tomorrow anterin you to your family home," said Damar sound a little stupid, feel tired and want to sleep immediately.
"But they don't want to accept me,"
"Why?"
Damar waited for Anggi to answer his question and finish the scene tonight. It's just that, some time waiting, the woman was just silent, with the shoulder shocks that increasingly felt tight.
"Nggi, you…."
"Sister,"
Damar's hand was ready to push both of Anggi's shoulders to look at his face, as the woman tightened her embrace in Damar's belly and called out to him in a trembling voice.
"Huggle me for a while." the woman asked slowly, managed to make Damar's body feel frozen for a while.
"What?"
"Hug me. a minute, just…."
And for some reason, Damar felt like his body was watered by cold water, when he heard the woman's request to him.
Wh why? Why did Damar have to hug her? Would he be able to keep quiet, if Damar gave him a short hug?
